    So different and SOOOO needed!
Wow! This was hilarious and true. I mean the Florida episode is hilarious! I love how the hosts counteract each other! I’m here! I am staying!

    Complete Garbage
No depth. Erratic, ADD, all over the place random discussion about headlines with no substance. Most of it is commentary about nothingness and unrelated to crime. Waste of time and resources.

I know why Florida is so crazy.
I’m commenting on the episode about Florida having so many weird crimes, seemingly way more than other states. The reason it seems like that is because Florida’s laws and regulations regarding access to records, privacy of people involved, and ability to attain reports and information are not as strict or difficult to deal with like a lot of other states are. So it’s just way easier for the media and others to find out about things that happen and then go attain the actual records and facts to then make it public. I think that’s a big reason why Florida seems crazy. Unfortunately, I think it’s just as insane everywhere.

    Not entertaining
Did not even make it past the first 5 minutes in the first episode. Felt very forced and scripted, uncomfortable to listen to.

    This is so...
Cheesy. While the stories may be real, the manner in which they're delivered is decidedly cheesy and fake. Can't do it. Won't do it.

Journalists make lighthearted fun out of crime
Not for me. Sounds more like a NPR forced fun piece, not an ID product. A fun look at crime with far-left answers as to why, instead of ID’s normal fact based, dramatic approach. The title fits, let’s have fun with crime & deep seeded sociology problems.

    HIGHLY ENTERTAINING!!!
Great content need for better audio. Keep up the GREAT work!

    So Phony
This podcast needs two new hosts. If it wasn't so scripted it would be tolerable.

Crime stories w "zany hosts" waka waka
Duche-chillingly happy/bad/unfunny/WHY am I listening to a ironic, "funny" crime show. No thanks. I like my crime serious and dark. I'll stick w True Murder & Sword & Scale.

One of the best crime podcasts available
I believe this show and the podcast known as criminal are the two best crime shows out there in podcast land. I'm surprised this one doesn't have more ratings. Filled with all sorts of interesting little weird to bits of crime, I wish there were more episodes totally

    Lame execution
Formulaic and contrived. Tries to copy the format of more successful podcasts but doesn't pull it off.

    so lame
what the scripted?! and how do you research? absolutely no substance.

    Fun and interesting podcast!
I enjoy the podcast a lot. It's refreshing to hear a more lighthearted take on crime mixed in with some deeper commentary. Yes, there are serious issues and sometimes some more serious crimes talked about here, but this podcast is no Serial. It's a good mix of serious and light. I look forward to the next season!

    Hopefully, ID will continue this!
A lot of the ID podcasts get discontinued for whatever reason, but this one DESERVES to keep on truckin'. It's absolutely succinct and fun. Whether you're a crime buff or just love weird stories, this podcast is for you.

    What the What??
I love What the Crime! I started listening last year around Thanksgiving and was very thankful! I've been missing them...they haven't aired a new episode since December...but I know they have to come back! There are too many dumb crimes out there for them to cover! While we're waiting...listen to the available episodes.

    Rethink and revise
I usually enjoy true crime podcasts and listen for about 45 minutes every day when I'm out jogging. Helps exercise those grey cells (my brain) while exercising my body. But this podcast is difficult to listen to. Between the male host, who sounds smarmy, the female host, who sounds like she is trying to be hip, and the Wikipedia-level of research, it annoys the heck out of me. I'd much rather hear the true crime podcasts that people put together out of their home using a cheap mic but they've used multiple sources that represent many points of view. My advice: don't try to be cool. Or relevant. Or funny. Just do your research and tell the stories that are remarkable.

    a disappointment
I appreciate that the podcast is somewhat scripted as this eliminates annoying "umms" etc. But, the is just a little corny (sometime I really expect to hear canned laughter or the drum riff "ba dump dump" after a joke). Mostly I wonder what is up with the ID podcasts. I have tried several interesting or potentially interesting ID podcasts only to have them disappear after 5-7 episodes. What's up with that?
  • rushamyc
    Too scripted and stuff!
Even the aside jokes are written. I listened to half of ep 1 and a third of one down the line to give it a chance. It's overproduced.

    LOVED this podcast...then it disappeared!?!
I really enjoyed this podcast, it put a breezy, lighthearted spin on some of the I.D. type stories that I love so much. I thought it was a super fun listen & looked forward to new episodes every week. So much so that I found myself constantly refreshing "my podcasts" list every Tuesday in hopes that a new episode would appear in the time since my list had refreshed automatically. Unfortunately, there were a total of three (MAYBE four) episodes & that was all she wrote. I hate getting into something only to have it pulled abruptly. Perhaps they're on a holiday hiatus but I seriously doubt it, much more likely that one of my favs is just gone. Understandable, but the same exact thing happened with "Crime Feed". Are the folks at I.D. going to commit to doing a podcast or just put out a new one every other month, then pull it before it can even drum up a following?

    Don't Waste Your Time
    1. Factual errors throughout the podcast. This is likely because they admittedly research their show via Reddit. 2. Are you really reading your own blog comments? 3. If your guest sounds like they're calling using a can and string, make adjustments. You're supposed to be professionals. 4. This show is so contrived as to be annoying within the first five minutes. I unsubscribed at the 15 minute mark. No need for anyone else to waste their time. I really resent that I wasted mine.

    Kind of Cheesy
Love the stories, hate the method of delivery. I am not sure of the guy of this podcast's name but he's just a hype man. I see no use for him on this show beside another voice on the podcast.
  • BrittanyFromWestVirginia
    Annoyed...
I like your podcast, but found myself very HANGRY by your recent “Hangry” Podcast, and feel that I need to set the record straight. West Virginia is not the face of Poverty, Obesity and Drugs. I am from West Virginia (I am not poor, obese or on drugs) and I currently live in Baltimore, MD (talk about a face of drugs). I have had my apartment burglarized; I see heroin addicted people walking in the middle of the streets like zombies… When I go downtown, tents line the sidewalks and are piled high under interstate bridges. There are far more hungry people in LA, San Francisco, New York City, etc.. than in the entire state of West Virginia. I am disgusted by people like “Zac Adams” the "filmmaker" visiting ONE small town in West Virginia and labeling the entire state. I have also traveled the entire US. The poorest state in America statistically (if you want to be technical) is Mississippi... FYI. Mr. Adams, you can thank “President” Obama for the poverty in West Virginia… Many Coal miners went from making closer to 100,000 a year to absolutely nothing. Please don’t label my beautiful state especially with your ugly words. Okay, I’m going to go eat a Snickers now.

    Disappointment
I was looking forward to this podcast and even suffered through 3 episodes, but I'm officially done with suffering through 25 minutes of mediocrity. This is so overly scripted and peppered with vulgar and unfunny jokes, theme music, and plugs to their parent company that there is little room to actually discuss content or a story. They basically read off a headline and a synopsis of a story and add a "witty" comment then move along. I'll be sticking with Sword and Scale for my does of true crime.
  • TheMangolorian
Terrible audio quality and scripted banter
Given that this is your first few episodes, it is to be expected there will be some issues with your delivery. Your "banter" was heavily scripted and stiff. Please don't try to sound improvised or like you can make off-the-cuff jokes, when they are clearly not improvised. Either be true to a scripted podcast or actually try to be more natural and go off script. You can't Rick us with some combination of the two. But even more annoying and unforgivable is the audio quality of the phone call interviews you had. Please don't tell me this is an unsolvable problem in this day and age. Many people find ways to get a good mix or online webcam chat system up that records better audio quality. It honestly sounds like you put your phone up to an intercom speaker and just decided that was good enough. Please improve if you want to survive the podcast world.

Less Google University level science and more crime.
This podcast should be called "What The Science?!" and not "What The Crime?!" This is a podcast filled with Google University level science based on the fleeting details of one or two headlines. Worse, the general condescending tone used by the hosts, and some of their guests. In general, I mean the guest named "Amelia." Her constant use of the word "like," and her minging snarkiness during the Vagina episode backed up by the other main female host pretty much has be wondering how the rest of this podcast will turn out, and if I will hear unbiased investiagations on crime or a mouthpiece for the women's right movement (while I don't mind that, this is not the place or time.) I subscribed to this podcast to hear about CRIME not science: not a rehashing of what I can look up in Google. I'm waiting for the next episode, but I'm not holding my breath.

It feels like listening to an ad
After the fourth time they mentioned their parent company / sponsor in a single episode I stopped listening. I don't think the people involved with this are necessarily bad at podcasting, but they need to ease up on the self promotion, it was a huge turn-off.

    What the...
I love this so far. I hope the dual host combo stays. Maybe a new ubiquitous acronym will come from this...WTC?! I like it.

    Dark, Funny S$&!
Finally a podcast for those of us who are fascinated with crime but not because we are sick weirdos but because it is so interesting what people are thinking. I imagine this podcast will be spectacular. Anyone who tackles WEIRD FLORIDA crime to start is starting right. Since it is the season of Thanksgiving I am thankful for these things as well about your show: Thank you for not having annoying radio voices. Thank you for giving a s&%! about your production values. Thank you for being very sarcastic and very funny.

    What a disappointment
Ami could not be a worst host. She clearly doesn't like her co-host, Will, and that dislike rubs off into her speech. She sounds irritated and disingenuous when she speaks, which adds to the already existing disappointment from listening to her. She doesn't sound like she's actually interested in these stories, which make them be told in an uninteresting way; and because of that disinterest (or maybe just assumed disinterest) she sounds incredibly scripted - also taking away from the intrigue level of the stories. Too bad, it could have been a worthwhile podcast.

    Great unique crime stories
Enjoy this. Not same played plots like CSI etc... True stories. Unique in its presentation. Left me wanting to hear more!

    over produced
This could be a great podcast but it's so over produced, so fake. It's trying way to hard to be wacky.

    Hilarious!!!!! My new favorite podcast
This is the best podcast ever! I just stumbled upon it. Amy is so funny and the topics are great!

    Potential
As the podcast evolves, I hope they upgrade their equipment. The call in guests sound like they are talking through a tin can. Had to turn it off.

I was unable to finish one episode
Both the structure and the dialogue are a little irritating .
  • jkb3223
    Too scripted
A podcast should be scripted and own it (WTNV) or should be unscripted. You are not fooling anyone with your scripted banter. Just have a conversation and stop with the reading of dialog.
  • Futetrisblitz
    Terrible
This is the most contrived, try hard garbage podcast I've ever heard. Couldn't even stand to finish the last few minutes. A few things- Reading stuff people post on Reddit isn't "sleuthing", it's just reading theories on the Internet like millions of Americans do on the toilet. It doesn't count as research for a podcast. No. OMG! Do you guys work for crime feed? Like the crime feed you can like on Facebook? Can you go look at pictures of stuff related to this story on crime feed, which you can also follow on Facebook? Do you guys write for them or something? You didn't mention it! Also please someone correct me if I'm wrong but no one wants to listen to you read your blog comments. Dear god. I know I mentioned try hard before, but wow. Constant failed desperate attempts at being edgy. LOL you guys Florida looks like a penis tee hee except not unless maybe if you have leprosy. Have you guys heard of flakka? It's a new drug, you've problem never heard of it. It's a hip new crazy street drug in Florida! Lets repeat the name of the three women working on this podcast 50 times through a 30 minute program because maybe if we say it enough times someone will care. Sorry to rant but listening to this made me dumber and I want to save others from the same fate.
  • mollynandy
    Waste of my time
Reminds me of 20/20 or 48 Hours where they waste a bunch of time hyping up a story or a topic only to let you down. A high school student could do a better job than this podcast; anyone can surf the Internet and watch documentaries to come up with stories.

    Ugh
This podcast had very little to do with actually exploring Florida crimes. It more so read off a list of why Florida is a terrible place to live. It seemed like the podcast was desperately grabbing at any reason as to why weird crimes are committed here- including the humidity, warm weather, and wage gap. The only positive attribute that the mentioned of Florida was our 630 miles of beaches. As a native and current resident of Florida, I can personally say that warm weather, humidity, and certainly not a wage gap has EVER made me want to commit a crime. The "facts" listed were not from credible sources- a film maker who did shrooms then went to find Florida Man and a supposed officer that could barely be made out on the phone calls. I hope you guys start to review actual weird crimes for your next podcast rather than offending an entire state with your assumptions.

    Amazing New Podcast!!!!!!!
This is hilarious. Have been waiting for a podcast like this. Super dynamic and engaging. Love it love it love it. WHAT THE CRIME…give us more!!!!! Love their voices too!
  • What the Crime was that?
    Disappointed
I, like many others, eagerly anticipated the release of this podcast. CrimeFeed is awesome so why wouldn't this be? The first episode was uploaded today, and it was such a let down!! The piece had no authority (no legitimate sources), the interviews were rambling and incoherent, and it was unnecessary raunchy in places. The hosts had no true discussion other than trying to outdo each other and the topics never came together. I forced myself to listen to the whole thing (just in case) but then ... promptly unsubscribed.
