    great podcast on reloading/ammo
Great podcast. Julie, you can fill my primer tubes when you are bored! I add dryer sheets to my brass when tumbling, it helps get the dirt/lead/bad particles. Still a great podcast, thanks ladies

    Magnificent
I spent a substantial amount of time listening to podcasts while commuting and GGR has become not only my favorite shooting podcast, but my favorite overall podcast. Randi and Julie are wonderful hosts who are excellent communicators and ambassadors for the shooting world. There is something for everyone and particularly for those who are new to shooting sports. The information that I have learned from this show have made me a better competitive shooter. Hopefully, if I continue to improve and listen to Randi and Julie, I’ll finally be good enough to proudly say that I shoot like a girl.

    Great Show Ladies!!!
Love your show. Julie, I was also an MP, active and National Guard. Love hearing about your career, the USAMU, your training, all of it. Randi, I use CompTac iwb holsters everyday for my Glocks. I have shot some IDPA club matches but focus most of my shooting time on training courses for law enforcement. Keep up the great work!!! Mike

Randi and Julie are the best.
Randi Rogers and Julie Golob are two of the most capable shooters in the world. Between them they have won almost every major match. Presidents 100, High Lady at the SASS End of Trail, if they haven't won it they haven't tried. They are also two of the most entertaining and enjoyable shooters you'll listen to. Their discussions of the shooting sports invite every one to get into shooting. From first time shooters to old timers they will brighten up your day.

    Love the show
I've been listening since the show started and it continues to improve. Julie and Randi have a great rapport and work very well together. They're both highly knowledgeable about the shooting world and pass this information on in an easy to listen to and understand format. Love the firearms radio network and listen to most of the shows but can't wait for each episode of gun girl radio. Don't stop what you're doing because you're doing it very well!

    Always Great!
Gun Girl Radio is by far the best podcast on the internet. The topics are timely, the guests are interesting, and the hosts are well prepared. Listening to Julie & Randi is enjoyable and educational. I look forward to every episode.

    Great Job!
I learn something every time I listen to your podcast. Keep up the good work!

    Best in class
This is possibly the best pure shooting competition podcast I have heard. Started listening for the female perspective, stayed for the excellent and timeless content. No politics. No Doom and gloom. Just good attitude friendly hosts and great content. Early episodes have some minor audio issues. Julie's "s" and "p" sounds pop. But after episode 5 that is pretty much gone and their pleasant voices and great personalities come through as clear as ... Well really clear.

    Competitions
I heard about this podcast thru gun guy radio. I've been listening to them all. I really like the competition news and tips. I'm going to try some out. Keep up the great work! Oh, and I did introduce my wife to shooting. She liked it so much, that we went to a gun shop to just look. She ended up getting a Ruger 22-45.

Great show as always. And remember don’t trust the mice.

    Fantastic
I love your podcast. I especially love when you share your expertise at a technical level. As an example, I have been a firearms instructor for 27 years and on one of your previous casts you explained your grip to address recoil. It was one of the best description I have ever heard! It would be great if you added a short piece each week on the technical aspect of shooting (eg grip, sites, stance, moving, trigger management, etc). You both have a great amount of expertise and this would provide listeners with great tips! Thanks for the great info you provide - love the podcast!
  • averageshooter
    Great tips!
Only after listening to Julie and Randi would I find myself researching GoGo squeeZ applesauce snacks to put in my range bag. Now, if I just had some Gun Girl Radio stickers to put on the squeeze bottles to make them look more tactical! :)

Possibly the best shooting sports podcast on the web

    Great podcast!
This is not a podcast for just the ladies. Guys will pick up a lot of info from this podcast. Great show about the summer tips! Stay hydrated always. I would like to hear a show about the new IDPA rule book when it is finalized. What the changes are etc. and your honest opinions about it. Keep up the great work ladies.

Love the show. Lots of great advise. I must admit I had to fast forward the last show. I felt like I was shopping with my wife. But that was only one episode. All the others have been fantastic. Great job !!

On My Short List of Gun Podcasts
I found this show through the Firearms Radio Network. I like some of the other shows on the network, but this one is the best. For a few reasons: (1) Julie Golob and Randi Rogers know what they are talking about, but they are able to convey what they know in a generally accessible fashion, (2) they cover interesting topics, from what they are up to personally to competition shooting to interviewing interesting people in the world of guns, and (3) very importantly, the shows do not run on. They get to the point and wrap up when they are done. This is in contrast to some of the other FRN shows that have a tendency to get a bit long. Keep up the good work ladies and gentleman. Side note: the episode on single stack nationals did get a bit into "competition speak" and was not as noob friendly as most other shows.
  • Bailey357
    Great show
Fun to listen to you ladies. Always a good show. Hey Randy I just bought my first glock. I saw you on tac TV doing the Glock torture test. My question is did your glock accidentally fire at all during the torture test.
  • Teh internetz
    Great shooting tips!
Friendly and fun, Gun Girl professional shooters Julie Golob and Randi Rogers teach listeners about shooting sports and tell stories from their years of matches. The best part: technical shooting tips for women. A question for the Gun Girls: when walking behind cover in IDPA matches, I walk too far. How do you know where to stop? A tip for the guys who write in, asking how to get their wives to go to the range: try better ear protection. My husband gave me NRR 23 muffs for an indoor range, not realizing it's louder for those of us with undamaged hearing. Now I double up with Silent Ear plugs under NRR 30 muffs - heavenly!

    Girls & Guns...It's a beautiful relationship
I just attended a Babes with Bullets camp in Louisiana. In my quest to build on what I learned there, I was extremely excited to find Gun Girl Radio. Not only am I discovering the world of shooting competitions from a female perspective, I'm also finding out what products to try that are geared more toward females. I appreciate your tips and advice. Keep up the great work!

    Podcast crack!
Fun and informative, have two of the top shooters in the world talking about competitive shooting. What this would cost in shooting lessons is huge! I shoot GSSF and a little steel challenge. I'll be listening every week.

    Not What You Might Think
As someone with a long daily commute I listen to a *lot* of podcasts, including most of those that are firearms-related. This is my new favorite--and this fact has nothing to do with the *gender* of the hosts. Unlike virtually every other gun podcaster, Julie and Randi are card-carrying experts in their field of endeavor. They know of what they speak, but they convey their information in an upbeat, highly personable manner, completely devoid of arrogance and macho chest-beating. Well done, ladies!

    Wow, never thought!?!
Jake, I just thought your Gun Guy Radio was a great show! Seriously, this easily the best podcast I've heard. Great info, Great comments, Great guests, Great topics, and the wonderful ladies with a MOUNTAIN OF EXPERIENCE AND INSIGHT. I'm gonna try and find a way to sneak this show into my wifes phone and see if she takes the bait! I would really love for her to be more interested therapeutic shooting. Keep up the great shows!!! Informative and entertaining
Julie and Randi host a great podcast. You get the real scoop on different types of competitions, practice and other good stuff from two of the top shooters in the world. They've had some great guests and seem to have a lot of fun in the process.

    Awesome
Great show very well done. Look forward to many more shows.

    Great Show!!!
I love this podcast. Great perspective from Julie and Randi. I have two daughters(5 and 1) and it is great to hear about the influences in your lives. Julie, being late in the third trimester, a prayer goes to you and your family in the next few weeks. I have been shooting for a while but never competed, but I'm wanting too. This maybe the wrong vinue for suggestions, but since I don't tweet or Facebook, how about a show on what means to be a Pro shooter? or tips on how to start shooting in competitions?

The potential to be among the best
I am new to your show. I have been listening to Tom Gresham and Michael Bain for a long time. Only recently have I added about a half dozen or more new firearms podcast to the library. The three of you do a nice job. After only listening to two of your podcasts, I put my finger on what I think is great about your show. I like the pace of the program. There are regular transitions and like most ladies when together, your conversation tends to be more fluid. The show is not a 2 hour slog, but I think 45 minutes to an hour would be great if you have the content. Your knowledge base is way up there. The only thing I could say that might make the program even better is if you had a woman on regularly with the self defense/LEO perspective(I know Julie you are former military) and/or one that likes talking politics. Maybe both of you like to discuss politics and issues. It makes sense to include it sometimes. I appreciate some of the shows not wishing to get stuck doing downer politics all the time, but face it, politics and activism will determine if you will even be able to do an three gun or IDPA championships in Massachusetts or other states in the future. Can you do one in New York or do you wish to do one there with their limits? Thanks for doing a great job and helping to de-testosterone this wonderful pastime, lifestyle and responsibility. Though, including Jake or other guys in some of the conversations would be nice, as well. I am a dad of two older teenage boys and a thirteen year old daughter. I sent an email on your website mentioning her earlier today.

    Not just for the girls
If you are curious about competition shhoting you should check this podcast out. Excellent.

    Great podcast
This is a fantastic podcast! It's hosted by Randi Rogers and Julie Golob .. that is the equivalent of Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh hosting a volleyball podcast. Not many people have heard about these gals outside of the IDPA/IPSC/shooting world, but inside the circuit they are _very_ well known. Each episode is basically them just talking about particular subjects (like IDPA basics, or interviewing female 3gun champions, latest carry guns, etc) or just chatting with each other about the latest gun stuff and guns. It is very informative, and they are very receptive to feedback. I enjoy listening to these gals a lot... oh and Jake too. :-) Highly, highly recommended!
