The best and longest running Cubs podcast. SBUCOG!!!!!!!!

These guys have made something more entertaining than any other podcast or show in Chicago sports.

This show great because it’s a mix of genuine fandom, reasonable analysis, and musical numbers.

Danny and the boys are hilarious and have great insight. Love the production and original songs. You will love it. Yes… you.

I’ve never listened before although I plan to. Danny rocket tweeted to rate and review so I did.

When I started listening to this show on the regular during the pandemic. There are a lot of boring Cubs pod casts out there. This is not one of them. The shows Star Danny Rockett lives one mile north of Wrigley Field. So you don’t only just hear stats and team talk but a first hand knowledge about what is happening in the Wrigley area on a weekly basis. Rockett’s cohosts also add colorful insight. Crawly is a Cubs season ticket holder and passionate Cubs collector. Crawly adds great insight into the hobby side of Cub's collecting weather it be collecting bobble heads or autographs. Crawly has been a voice for the fans and gives insight from a season ticket holder perspective. Michael Cotton is a passionate Cubs fan. He thinks the DH should be in both leagues and is on a personal crusade until it happens. This show is much more than a podcast. It’s a caring community that stretches all social media platforms and in person events. One doesn’t feel like a listener but part of a family.

Long time listener here and I couldn’t imagine my Cubs fandom without Son Ranto! And the best part are the host act the same way in real life, they have built a community of degenerates with hearts of gold, and the show is more fun to listen as the Cubs wheels fall off. So crack open a cold one and after a few listens joins us at the left field well in Wrigley. SBUCGO!!!

I stumbled across this NSFW gem of a podcast after meeting the brilliant Danny Rockett at a Cubs camp out in western IL. The show summarizes what it has been like to be a Cubs fan for 30+ years. Much ranting, foul language, yet I enjoy this podcast and the people I've met because of it. You'll probably need to use headphones f you have kids, but I love the non-Pollyanna views of The Cubs and their fans. The actual shows are three friends having a conversation, and eventually they get around to talking about baseball and the Cubs. I'm old enough to be their father, but if my kids ever did a podcast, I'd want it to be like this. Give it a listen - you'll be hooked. Recent update: with the addition of Crawly, the show has gained serious baseball stats cred, and Michael has stepped up his already strong game with great analysis and epic rants. A strength of the show is how they interact with their fans for comedy gold via Facebook and Twitter. Danny continues to be a creative genius that makes even slow baseball news weeks entertaining as well. Soon to be the longest running Cubs podcast of all time.

This is not your average Cubs baseball podcast- and that’s a good thing. Great Cubs baseball talk with hilarious commentary. Definitely not safe to listen to with kids around.

Maybe not, but you'll pee just a little in your pants. Hilarious cats running this show will deepen your love for cubbies. Well done, Danny Rockett.

This is an excellent & funny podcast. 3 great Cubs fans talking about the Cubs. This podcast, & the Ivy Envy podcast, will keep you informed & laughing about the Cubs win, lose or draw (& the Cubs did draw once in 2016, as well as about 10 times in 2017 spring training).

Danny knows his stuff. Parody songs provide a different touch of excitement. Danny owes me like 73 beers at this point though.... pay up next game!!!

This show is absolutely amazing to listen to. It is freaking hilarious and informative at the same time.

I listen to every episode and am never disappointed...If you're looking for a Cubs podcast, this one and Ivy Envy are the two to subscribe. Son Ranto has great audio quality, not one of those annoyingly quiet shows. There is plenty of joking around. Danny plays some pretty sweet cubbie remakes to songs. Just watch out for Lyle's hatred!

It took me a couple of episodes to get into this one, I gotta admit. Not a lot of stats and a good amount of unrelated chit chat. The technical difficulties are pretty bad sometimes too. All that being said, this is the podcast I most look forward to- whether the Cubs just got swept or they took the Cards to the cleaners. These guys are real baseball fans- through and through. No topic is taboo and no player is off limits from being made fun of by this crew. I love the Secrets of Wrigley, Johnny Rocket's affinity for backup catchers and the disdain for St. Louis all around. No other sports podcast adds original songs to their show either, so check this show out and keep coming back because you'll find out that these guys are just a bunch of bleacher bums- which is kickass in my book.

Listen to this podcast if you are a Cubs fan. You'll laugh until you piss your pants. You will be sitting in piss soaked pants, but at least you will have had a good time and you will feel more knowledgable about the Chicago Cubs.

If you are a fan of the Cubs this is a must listen. While there are other Cubs podcasts out there this one is unique as in its a more laid back show with a more adult tone. I found this show after hearing about it on the Ivy Envy podcast and listen to both of them weekly.

This is a great podcast, super funny but still informative

If you love the Cubs it is for you. These diehards will keeps you informed and laughing. But theirs more the music is awesome also. The opening theme gets you fired up and fun the rest of the way. It would be the Anthony Rizzo of podcast.

I am a long time Ivy Envy guy and when Corey gave thiis a recomendation I thought I would give it a play...I listened to one episode and found it not the least bit funny or informative but I gave it a second lesten and when they started talking about why Salt and Pepper and Starbucks were closong and that we all should go out and support them I was done. Did they not know that everything on that block 7-11 Starbucks, Goose Island and Salt and Pepper were being replaced. Diod they not notice that Bar Louis and even the comedy meca IO have been closed for all of 2015. There is NEW construction going on that block... first it was going to be a Hyatt then it evolved into a retail/condo complex.. These guys offer ZERO Cubs knowledge and are clueless. Don't waste your time ..I won't be back EVER.

I've never listened to a single episode of The Son Ranto show without actually laughing out loud at least half a dozen times. One of my favorite podcasts that I look forward to every week. If you're a Cubs fan, you'll definitely enjoy it. If you're not a Cubs fan, there's still a 57% chance you'll enjoy it. Thank you guys so much for the great work you've done with this show, I'm looking forward to more laughs and more beer in the years to come!
