    Love Power Rangers
I loved this podcast but the only episode I really liked was episode 17 because I am a big fan of Power Rangers Mystic force. It was my favorite one, but the movie Power Rangers really got me and I play Roblox and my name is Apisgod 12345.

First off, I want to offer my sincerest condolences to TFG1Mike, I'm sorry to hear about your mother's passing, I know how hard it is to lose someone, especially if it's someone that close to you. For TFG1Mike, Johnny Cash, and Baltmatrix, I was looking forward to the megaforce episode, to me that season started strong, then super megaforce happened, and I was hoping to hear your thoughts on the season. I do hope you guys get a chance to do more episodes. I hope everyone has a good day, and I hope to hear you guys again. May the power protect you. ~Chaser

    Great podcast
I have been a power ranger / sentai fan for many years. Listening to each show makes me go back and rewatch the topic seasons. Thanks keep the show going .5 stars I am really enjoying the commentaries.

    Lost galaxy leo
Awesome review of lost galaxy my favorite season of power rangers. There is one thing you guys forgot not a big deal but Leo is the only galaxy ranger that can shoot fire out of his hands and the lion galactic beast with Leo's help can breath out fire and I just thought to myself why cant the other rangers do something like that. Again not a big deal Leo is still my all time favorite ranger. Keep up the great work and may the power protect you.

    Morphinenomenal!
Great work, guys! Loved the Power Rangers since I was 5. My favorites are MMPR, Zeo, In Space, Lost Galaxy, Time Force, Dino Thunder, SPD, and RPM. I'm clinging to the hopes that Megaforce will be better than the dissapointing Samurai. My favorite segment in the show is Spada's Sentai segment, I always look forward to hear how different or similiar the sentai is to the american counterpart. Thanks for making the show and may the power protect you. P.S.-Will you guys be doing commentaries on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie?

    Very Much Enjoy This Podcast
While this podcast is a little less organized and a little more casual than others, it is really fun to listen to. I just have two complaints. Scotty Cash is awesome. He's totally chill and owns up to his appreciation of Power Rangers in a cool way. However...browncoatcire brought up a lot of good points about TFG1 Mike. He's really dorky, and overcompensates often with weak humor, nitpicking, and swear words. Def not my very podcaster. My second complaint is completely petty and selfish. My favorite power rangers toys, the original dragon dagger and power weapons toys, were not brought up at all in the toy episode! It's a crime I tell you!

    Good for what it is
Easily the best PR podcast on itunes, the only problem being that isn't saying much. I end up liking more of the back and forth between the podcasters when they are NOT talking about the subject or anything to do with Spada. I find with the three of them in some episodes things flow a lot better and there is more to discuss since until recently the other two have had similar views on everything and didn't see the sentai so it relied too much on the listener having seen every episode of that season to understand. Some early episodes because of the lack of a third member in the conversation will come off slow or going on for too long. However if you power through it or just start with Disney era discussions, maybe Time Force if you wanna start the eariliest, you will find that the show improves into something you may look forward to new releases of. I will say however I have not listened to the interviews so they may be far better than the pre-Time Force posts but I guess if this review helped it is for you to decide.

    Amazing Podcast
This has to be on of the best PR podcasts around. I like the fact that you guys went through each season and gave a detailed description of the seasons. I am glad to have found this podcast keep up the amazing work and i hope to hear more as the years go on.

    Theme songs
I liked what you had to say about the themes. I agree Mystic Force was not good. I loved SPD and Zeo. I enjoyed the closing song - was it Freak Out from Dino Thunder? I would like to find it. I did buy the Samari song, Everyday Fun.

    revised opinion
I know you guys do alot of effort to keep your facts in order, but i want to bring up that if you comment on white light, in part one at the end billy is without his glasses which i think he does sporaticlly throughout season 2. And for jason, zack, and trini dont appear in or after zedds monster mash unless you count stock footage and audio. i noticed this because they dont say much outside of calling the zords and tommy, billy, and kimberly are the main ones seen until ninja encouner. i agree with your top 20 lists with exception that turbo the move should be a little higher and for songs except rpm and lightspeed rescue. i didn't like how lightspeed emphasized every syllable and the in space/lost galaxy megazord toys were the most fun of mmpr season 2 to lost galaxy toy lines for me.

    just a random remembering
I know that the jungle fury and spd podcasts are done but if you notice Dr. Katherine "Kat" Manx and Master Guin are portrayed by the same actress Michelle Langstone and the only reason I bring it up now is my computer was down when those casts aired. thanks for keeping my childhood fresh in my memory and as always keep up the awesome work.

    Could be amazing
This podcast is pretty great, but there are several things that keep it from being amazing. Mike and Scotty work well together, and their interactions are usually mostly entertaining. But I feel like Mike dominates the conversation a little too much. That might just be how the two interact and it's natural, but I'd definitely like to hear more from Scotty. The earlier episodes were riddled with errors in synopses and everything. I understand that the seasons weren't easily available on Netflix a the time, but a simple search of the Power Rangers wiki would have been more than helpful. And there seems to be a lot of repetition. The shows (or at least the ones I've listened to so far) start off with cast overview, favorite episodes rangers, zords, weapons, music, etc. And then you throw in a season synopsis, where you basically repeat a lot of what you just talked about. I love long podcasts, so I don't care that sometimes they're two hours long, but I don't like the repetition. Maybe a better, more clearly understood outline for the episode could help? All in all, I really enjoy this podcast, and I'm really happy I found it. Thanks, you guys!

    a good review
while i agree with most of whats been said, like outside the dragon dagger and the drago sword of the orginal green ranger and white dino ranger, there has been very few good weapons and though i like most of the ultra zord combinations they are too heavy and impractical they should have only appeared near the end and only against the top tier villians. the only thing i disagree with is power rangers turbo ands its movie, if only because of nostalgic childhood memories and the fact that bulk and skull where funnier in the movie with less corny slapstick. but if you to really criticize something watch tatooed teenaged alien fighters from beverly hills, where the mentor/ zordon-like character is a giant brain and compare it to turbo or other ranger series. in conclusion thanks for read and keep on reviewing. danny k

    [Insert descriptive title here]
Just started tuning in (even though I knew of it's existence quite some time ago). Absolutely love it! Don't know why I hadn't listened to it much earlier. As a fan from MMPR - Turbo I enjoy taking a look back at a great part of my childhood, hearing about all I've missed since, and as a sentai fan, I look forward to the time dedicated to that! I have to say this has become my favorite GCRN show. Keep up the great work guys!
  • m1k3yd2ta11

Best Power Rangers podcast I've come across
I found this podcast by accident while browsing the internet 1 day and have been a fan ever since! Scotty Cash and TFG1 Mike are good hosts, and fun to listen to even though they tend to forget things here and there which leads me to yell at my computer to correct them or help fill in the blanks since they are forgetful even though the fans will help them afterwards. Spada The Balt Matrix is a great addition to the podcast with his Super Sentai portion and giving us the info on the differences on the original source material and the American adaptations if any, prime examples being Abaranger, Carranger, Dairanger, Dekaranger, Gaoranger, Gekiranger, Go-Onger, Hurricaneger, Kakuranger, Megaranger, Ohranger, and Zyuranger. I don't know why people would like the Sentai segment to be longer, and the iTunes reviewers never did give an answer so they are just complaining for the hell of it. My favorite episodes were when you had the interviews with Barbara Goodson and Robert Axelrod, the voices of Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa, the interview with Daniel Southworth from Time Force, the interview with Jason David Frank, all of the episodes ging over the Zordon Era of Power Rangers and Power Rangers Dino Thunder where Tommy Oliver, or Dr. O as Connor, Ethan and Kira called him made his final appearance as a veteran Power Ranger.... at least for now. The reason why Jason David Frank took a lot of time off from Dino Thunder was because he decided to return to Los Angeles because he still had to manage his own karate school! Hope that this clears up any misconceptions that you guys may have had about this situation! Anyways, I'm not really interested in Megaforce. But I'm going to reserve judgment until watching the first few episodes! Keep up the great work, and let the power protect you all!

Great show for power ranger fans
I love this podcast brings back memories of my childhood back. Scotty cash and TFG1 make this show, they have great chemistry together. It's never boring and leaves u wanting more and more. They do make mistakes but small ones; we are all human u can't expect them to remember every detail. Beside that I have no complaints with the show, and I was hooked since the day I started listening. Keep up the good work guys can't wait till the next episode. P.S. For conversation if Saban makes a serious mini series for the fans of power rangers. If u could bring back any combination of veteran rangers for a 3 man team that is turned evil with upgraded powers, weapons, and zords who would you choose. My team would be the Magna Defender,

    Amazing!
Just Morphinominal through and through. This podcast was actually my first exposure to GeekCast Radio and opened the door for me to discover other great GCRN podcasts like The Beast Unleashed (yes TFG1-Mike, all roads *do* lead back to the low road no matter what any naysayers may say), Tele-Cast, MWIRE, and of course, The TFG1 Podcast. Scotty Cash and TFG1Mike are highly entertaining! So if you love Power Rangers, then ready your morphers, you'll love this podcast!

You guys are the best thing to listen to on the way home from school. I love listening to your discussions. My favorite reviews were the lost galaxy and wild force because those are my personal favorites. ( animal zords ) Over all I love this podcast and " May the power protect you "

    The best
Started listening to your podcast a few weeks ago, and been catching up on all the old episodes. Loved the interview with Jason David Frank, can't wait for more episodes and interviews. Amazing job guys
  • Chrollo0427
Very entertaining for anyone who grew up on power rangers
Probably the best thing about this podcast, aside from the nostalgia, is the way the two host interact with each other. They both respect each other, and don't try to put each other down. This is in my experience quite different from other ranger fandom podcats, where the hosts trip over each to make the first insult. I personally like Tfg1mike and ScottyCash's way of talking to each other and getting to point. I also love the sentai segments, and was a bit disappointed that episode 16 lacked one, but what can you do? I am really looking forward to the last couple of episodes, and I will definitely relisten to this podcast in the future even after new episodes become a once a year thing. Keep up the good work guys, and thanks for making this podcast. P.S. I doubt I will be able to change your mind about watching the sentai version TFG1Mike, but if your really worried about keeping up with the subs while watching the show, you might want to know that all the talking in sentai is almost always done while the characters are standing still, and the actions scenes are pretty much devoid of anything other than one liners, which after the 10th time of hearing them you won't even need to read the subs to know what they are saying. It is really easy to keep up with whats going on for even a slow reader like mysel, but I admit I might be bias since I've been learning Japanese for over a year now.

    Great job guys!
This podcast is great for remembering the good ole' days of power rangers and even the "not so great" recent seasons(Dino Thunder being an exception). I really enjoyed the interviews with the past rangers and the evil villain duo of Zedd and Rita. JDF is by far my favorite ranger. Just a heads up for SPD, Trent from Dino thunder also does Tommy's in suit voice. Also mystic force was really bland and uninteresting so go ahead and bash it all you want. I really appreciate the banter between the two hosts especially when it comes to favorite episodes. Thanks again for allowing us to relive some of the most precious moments of our childhoods.

    Power Rangers
Good Show Guys. Scotty Is The Sober Yin Going Against The Raging Yang Of Mike. One Suggestion Move Spadas Senti Review To The Beginning Of The Show. Waiting For The Next Episode. May The Power Protect You.
  • Sad sad drop bear.
    Not bad.
Not too many power ranger podcasts out there. This one is not bad. Went back to listen to the first three episodes discussing the first three seasons and there was a bit too much "Tommy fanboy gushing" for my taste but I will live. There are many times where I find my self yelling when these guys get stuff wrong ( especially from the first three seasons, maybe a refresher watch was in order) But its understandable and their enthusiasm makes up for it. I am really looking forward to seeing what they do once they have caught up with the seasons. Keep it up!

Cash is money!!!! Tfg1 mike is meh.
Scotty cash really makes this show!!! Love the excellent thorough coverage of all seasons, and is a good primer for new fans or for Old ones who may Have missed a season(or ten).Tfg1 comes off as a Debby downer & is too nitpicky & has an extremely annoying laugh.Dude seems really jaded( at least he doesn't yawn directly into the microphone like he did on his tfg1 podcast) Alll in all excellent podcast ! Ps the ninja storm red ranger is actually Samoan & not black. May the power protect you !!!

    Great Podcast!!
Enjoy listening to the podcast y'all do of the Power Rangers! Learn many insights I didn't know with watching the show as I grew up... One question though... Knowing saban has taken back power rangers it would be awesome if they did a offset season detailing and showing the story of how the ancient powers of the rangers started maybe even giving us a story showing the relation to Rita and how she got placed in the capsule before the men on the planet released her. And how she got there. And the story of zordon and the rangers before the original team. Maybe like a "Origin Rangers"??? But anyway. Y'all keep the podcast going if possible.! May the power protect you!

    Amazing guys
I know that you are going to review wild force. So my question is what is your opinion on Zen Aku using a flute to summon the Predazords? I felt it was alittle like Tommy and the dragon zord. Great show keep doing what you do. Tyler

One of the Best Podcasts, if not the Best! Part 2!
Hey, I'm back! This is a 2nd review and edit to my last comment as well. Lightspeed Rescue was the last season I fully watched, due to moving to a new state, being in middle school and wanting to fit in(peer pressure), and getting more into wrestling. Overall, I found the season very entertaining to watch and enjoyed the fact that Saban finally made their own Ranger. You guys did a great job in summarizing it up and helped me relive one of my last childhood moments. Coincidentally, I had a friend over while listening to the review and his last season was also Lightspeed. After listening and feeling inspired, he now wants to start a Rangers podcast. Thank you for doing what you do and for being an inspiration for future Ranger podcasters. And, my edit to the comment you read in episode 11. I don't know why, but for some reason I said Linkara reviewed the Super Sentai on the show. I meant to say Spada(idk how to spell it). You'd think I'd remember since it's been 11 episodes already. Hope the guy who calls you guys on everything didn't catch it and complains about you guys not correcting me.
  • Darth_shaggy
    Thanks for the memories
Hey guys just want say thanks for doing a podcast that brings me back to my childhood. Now I stopped watching after the first few episodes of turbo, I didn't see turbo movie till a about a few years ago. I love the super senti (if that's how it's spelled) I enjoy your favorite episodes and all the rants... Keep them coming and yes the interviews are awesome

    Go to Power Rangers podcast!!
Love this podcast. I love the banter between the hosts and it is very funny! One of my favorite segments is the sentai segment where we learn the sentai with the accompanying Power Rangers series. Always informative! This podcast always makes me nostalgic for the good old days when I watched Power Rangers all the time. Can't wait to hear In Space, Lost Galaxy and Time Force! Keep up the good work!
  • Ben Schumin
Too many errors and too many tangents
This podcast would be really good if they spent more time staying on topic. The hosts spend too much time chatting about anything in the beginning of the episodes and in a few other places, meaning that they don't actually start discussing the topic of the podcast until more than five minutes in. Most annoying was on the Season 3 podcast when they spent far too much time discussing Power Rangers Samurai at length before ever beginning discussion of MMPR Season 3. If the podcast episode was about Samurai, that would be fine, but when it's advertised as an episode about MMPR, I expect for the discussion to center around MMPR. Additionally, the commentary seems to be riddled with errors. While I admit I know the "Zordon era" seasons possibly a little too well, it becomes amazingly annoying when the hosts make mistakes, such as discussing Rito Revolto and Master Vile as Season 2 villains, when both were not introduced until Season 3. In addition, the hosts seem to be unable to draw the distinction between sentai footage that was adapted for Power Rangers vs. original footage that was made specifically for Power Rangers. Thus the criticisms leveled at the show for elements that originated in sentai footage seem unfair when Saban had no control over its creation. Also, volume levels are inconsistent throughout the podcast. The music is often at a very different level (both higher and lower) than the voice tracks, which leads to the need to adjust the volume very quickly for fear of blowing out one's ears. All in all, this podcast has the potential to be great, but there's a lot of fluff in it that needs to get pulled out, the hosts need to study their Power Rangers more carefully and better understand the distinction between sentai and original footage, and the production values need to increase.

i cant wait for you guys to make more its awesome that your going over my favorite childhood show

A great addition to the Geekcast Family
As the title suggests this is a really great podcast that brings something different to the Geekcast Radio Network, but I love it. In the past year Power Rangers/Sentai have become some what of a hobby to me and I love this. This along with Linkara's History of Power Rangers will help educate those who are new to Power Rangers while still maintaining fun.
