NrtuckeThe about section…Really… as she tells stories of the dead people. They couldn’t put ANYTHING more respectable or anything. I mean come on the stories would be something I wanna hear but just using them but with a different host. And not trying to pulls the feels. It’s too forced

foxgyrlGreat guests, dramatic hostExcellent stories shared by guests. Stephanie is super annoying. Stop trying to sing! Hard to describe your narration. Overly dramatic, horrible. Please, just read your script, remove the exasperation!
-
KafppgfvcGreat stories, but . . .The host is a bit “precious.” It’s like she’s trying to feel emotions for us. Just tell the stories. We will have our reactions. You have a great thing here. Keep going . . . trust yourself to tell the story without the emotional delivery.

AagaardFamGene WilderI am loving your podcast. It’s very interesting to get the behind the scenes stories of some of these people who have touched all of our lives. You should definitely follow up the gene wilder episode with a Richard Pryor one. Nothing would be more fitting than the two of them together.

GeorgiaKnittingLadyStories are goodBut the narrator is over the top gushing over of the subjects. It’s very distracting.

kbells1227I need more!I love this podcast so much, and getting to hear about the lives of people I didn’t know about!! But it’s been over a month, is it coming back??
-
jsvshjfjhhshMusic??Great podcast but the background music is less that desirable, please think about changing it.
-
Geo'sMommaEh.Unless you know zero about the person she is talking about, you’re not really learning anything new about them. Parts of these episodes felt like the narrator was just reading from their Wiki page. The episodes are only as good as the guest she gets to interview but even then some of what they say is very repetitive.

SpitlerPowerAwesome!!!!!Please do Richie Valens
-
kjovia8986SelenaPlease do a Selena Quintanilla episode!!
-
gruntleloveGood stories, bad musicThese are very interesting stories, but the background music is so jarring-it doesn’t match the subject. Perhaps it’s budget issue.

wliRephrasing regarding suicideTo the writers of the podcast, I would suggest changing how you refer to suicide. Instead of saying “committed suicide”, use “died by suicide”. Saying “committed suicide” or “took their own life” refers to choice. When someone dies by suicide, they are in no frame of mind to make a choice. Just some thoughts:)

z1g7025 stars for BourdainGreat episode.

HL BarrettWhere are the women?!I am very happy that you chose Amy Winehouse to start ( it’s horrid what fame - aka other people - did to her) but am a bit concerned that three men - two who are white - have been episodes 2-4. The world has many great women and non-binary folk and many non-whites who don’t get their due because we’re all tripping over ourselves praising great, mainly American and European men. Please keep the non white, non male billions in mind when casting your net!

-
sallyJJJThoroughly enjoyableThe first two episodes are really well done. This is a high quality show. Sounds like they're covering a wide range of subjects for the show, so there's gotta be something for everyone here!
-
StupotStupotGreat showStephanie is such a great storyteller. I'm learning lots about Muhammad Ali already and I can't wait to hear more
-
dougydougydougyAli is the GOATGreat interviews looking back on Muhammad Ali's epic life.
-
Saturn StormMuhammad AliAn astute, insightful, and sagacious view of Muhammad Ali’s life outside of the ring. Exposing himself to the world as the supreme “tough guy” to intimidate his opponents, the public may not have been aware of his sincere humanity. Beautiful narration which draws in the audience with anticipation of more stories told through perspectives not often explored. Tremendous applause for “A Life Lived.”
-

Tacobell rulesInteresting! It's really cool to hear from people that were actually close to the celebrities. This podcast isn't just a retelling of someone's life, there's real interviews.
