foxnblocksNot worth the egosI listen to some of Scott’s other pods, and he also brags a bit too much on those for my taste. Kara and Scott together seem like they mostly want to show each other and the world how glamorous they are. It feels a bit embarrassing unless you buy into the idea that they really are as amazing as they seem to think they are, which I guess I don’t.

Wyo AmyFavoriteI look forward to new episodes and get so excited when a new one drops! Thanks for the great content and the humor you add! 🩵

qwwrexeggdtgfRefreshing twice weekly dose of sanity & key infoLove their calm in the face of continuous outrages as well as their well informed & well reasoned analyses. This + The Intelligence keeps me sane & out of trouble.
-
angrylfMeh - ok show …The hosts are SO into themselves that it’s often cringy to listen to. Neither seems cool or personally interesting but they sure brag like they are. If you can get past their personalities there is sometimes some good info.

Lee EsqBidenTesting for men over 70 leads to false positives and further treatment that’s harmful. 110 days before the debate, Joe gave the best state of the union speech ever . Better than Obama. Biden. Ad lib’d negotiated with Republicans and was terrific. Something happened in that 110 days or on that day. Announcing one term would’ve made him a lame duck from the start Presidential races are four years

Bunny CubScott filled with brilliant ideas he will never fulfillHe wanted a “shark tank” like primary for the democrats to replace Biden? This dude needs to stop podcasting and get into the world. He’s filled with ideas for young men families getting young people to drink none of which will be implemented. Endless useless self indulgent yapping.

glimadollScott - So all you care about is MEN’S economic security? What about women?????? Your words speak volumes.

TooDenseToburnScientology IgnorersI have loved this show for years, but every time Tom Cruise has a movie come out, they lick him up and down. Tom Cruise is a the tent pole of an organization that traffics and extorts human beings. I’m tired of Scott and Kara supporting Tom Cruise. Oh he seems nice and is a hard worker? That’s because he has slaves waiting on him constantly and Scientology trains people to have false charm in order to inculcate people. It’s so gross. Stop it. Talk to Lea Remini. Where’s Shelly?!

wilde ggScott is a feral ScorpioIt’s a compliment. Keep killin it you two 🔥
-
LocalhounSelf indulgent and tone deafA show that could be packed with relevant information but is instead 2 people clearly so out of touch with the general public talk about the ins and out of their unrelatable personal lives. Good luck promoting your “brand”.

901-MemphisTired of ScottOver the last several months, Scott has turned to flouting his wealth, self-promotion, and out of touch jokes. He used to have some insight, clever jokes, and a unique personality. Lately, he seems to be going through some kind of identity crisis. He adds little to the conversation and his jokes have grown tired and more offensive. I used to be a regular listener to the Prof G podcast as well, but I find that he is extremely repetitive in topic and views across his different platforms. His ubiquity has become a problem because he’s recycling talking points, not doing enough research, and, again, just bragging about his life without the appropriate amount of self-reflection that we all need. He seems to be relying heavily on staff and then using his fame to coast as he focuses on this book and TV development which grow out of his being a good pod host with interesting opinions. He no longer is those things. I would hate for his voice to vanish because he’s getting to high on his own supply, but it’s what he deserves if he keeps this trend. Kara is fabulous on Pivot, On, and television. Only critique of her is I don’t care for her kids guest hosting—they sound like terrific kids, but not podcast hosts, but that’s few and far between. If it weren’t for Scott’s decline, I’d give five stars.

Div4novaI cannot live without youI am so grateful I stumbled over Kara in a documentary and then immediately followed her podcast because she is sooo smart and “UN-panicky” in the face of the horror we face, so sharply deconstructing lies and pushing back. together with Scott though, it’s really the one show I look forward to. it’s like meeting friends (and I totally appreciate the personal friendship they disclose between the lines!) and sinking in a big leather chair to breathe a bit and be intellectually stimulated. please never stop. I need you.
-
MilkandcookiSmartKara and Scott consistently deliver entertaining content which gives me clever talking points so now my friends don’t think I’m an idiot anymore.

winz3000Too much TrumpI love your show, Kara and Scott, but Since a few months I feel like you talk a bit too much about our Trump. I know he’s the BEST PRESIDENT THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN, but I think he doesn’t need that much air time. Keep being awesomely accurate and informative

HeyThisIs…Commenting to help them win a Golden GlobeKara and Scott are great. They need to be in the top 25 to win a golden globe. I literally came here just to drop a comment to say that. Since I’m here I’ll also say Thank you for the great and insightful show. I listen every week! Keep doing what you’re doing. People need to hear news from honest and sensible people. Also Scott should tell more jokes!

FuturaEducatorWonderful; only needs some context on certain names and companies that are brought upYour knowledge and banter are spectacular; please provide context for those of us who don’t know every name and company in these industries. Please articulate a bit more and finish sentences 🙏🏽. Your predictions are stupendous and fascinating. Thank you for an informative and entertaining show!!

anthrothDon’t be like everyone elseI love this pod, but to say McCarthy and Maher were good is so false- and it appears to be motivated by both hosts love of being on the show. Kara was excellent , but Mccartht spews lies and even after getting pronated by Trump, still lies for him. Maher is a fool for his kissing the ring. Be better Scott and Kara..

2WheelsRManAnother Pod the election brokeBoth are smart and articulate. The only knock on the hosts is sometimes Scott shows up unprepared to talk about the topics and Kara can confuse facts with her opinion. Otherwise, they have great chemistry and work well together. For years this Pod was a five star for me, but the election seems to have broken the show format. Every episode: -Trump -Elon -Some tech bro Kara finds insufferable. Rinse and repeat. I miss the days where I would learn about new tech or business ideas. Maybe in 2028?

BigAppleGregMore Scott Jokes?Yeeeesh, Scott. The banter between these two folks is golden. Greatly appreciate the views of both!
-
Healthy living in CAScott stop talking!!!Kara is amazing, Scott needs to stop talking. He interrupts her, mansplains constantly and is overall a drain on the show. Which is bad considering he speaks over 75% of the time. Kara, get a real co-host!
-
Ryry12000Galloway is insufferableOut of touch wealthy weirdos. Boomers gonna boomer: “Bill (Maher) gets smarter when he’s high.” Yes, they attend Maher parties and go on Club Random. Do you need to know more?
-
changagarciaScott’s disgusting.Kara is painfully insecure. I listened because I really want all good things for her but she needs therapy.
-
Calen AnnA much-needed reality checkI appreciate how these conversations on hard topics are approached with confidence and grace — something we need more of in 2025.
-
realfocusDebatesScott is correct about debates. Here’s my suggestion: GET RID OF THE AUDIENCE! Musk/ DOGE is stealing all the data from the various agencies for his own use with XAI.
-
Walks talks and sewsGreat conversation today!I’ve done my share of complaining about Scott, not today. I love when you express your emotional side AND intellectual side. When you do that in combination with Kara regularly doing that, it makes a standout time listening for me. Loved you sharing about Albert Hall experience today and validating how feeling one’s emotions makes life feel rich ❤️

Anonymous29471047391Kara 5 stars Scott ewwwKara and Scott - love you and your commentary. Scott and your cringy comments about women and other personal issues needs to stop. I’m frankly surprised Kara puts up with it. My 21 yr old daughter agrees. Just stop, Scott. It doesn’t serve you

BlumetricSwisher Delivers, Scott MissesThis pod delivers a stark commentary contrast between two hosts. Swisher is the standout imo, her lines of questioning and balanced approach elevate discussions with purposeful, substance-focused interviewing that cuts through rhetoric. Galloway meanwhile, is a letdown. Despite his obvious intelligence, his self-cultivated "edgy professor" persona consistently undermines what could be valuable input. His prioritization of provocative branding over thoughtful content creates a frustrating ceiling for the podcast's potential. The rare moments when he abandons performance for genuine insight only highlight what listeners are regularly missing. He also seems to do little research into material before the show, though both hosts could read online about the subject matter a little more heavily to avoiding defaulting to perspectives too aligned with tech executive viewpoints rather than reporting on real world impacts. Worth listening primarily for Swisher's contributions, but Galloway's style-over-substance approach prevents this from becoming the essential tech commentary it could be.

Rothko[]HatersThe projections are rife and cringy. This used to be a good show.

Chuckles MarxFantasylandI’m sick, old, deep in debt, was homeless for much of this year, uninsured, have a mentally ill dependent, and I work two jobs. This podcast is a nice bit of fantasy listening, but fantasy for much of America nonetheless. It’s the rich chatting with the rich.

ProudIUGRADYes, but….I enjoy the smart commentary on the most important issues of the day - I appreciate all of the work you and your staff do in order to put on such top notch shows. However, this rating would be a five if I wasn’t subjected to tasteless, sexist penis jokes from Scott on every show. He is constantly demeaning women and I am often debating with myself if the other content is worth suffering through Scott’s inferiority issues. We would all be better off if he could see a good therapist to help him through his issues.
-
Dmed303Long time listener but…Caution what’s with the vulgarity? I used to listen with my family in the car and now it’s F bombs,a-holes and overly crude jokes. Prof G is smart and knows brands so is this some type of Rogan copycat ?

Ellie11:11Smart, Bold, and Brilliantly EntertainingI deeply appreciate content that challenges the intellect while keeping it real—and Pivot does just that. The blend of psychological insight, rational analysis, sharp business acumen, and much-needed humor is a breath of fresh air. In today’s world, that balance is rare and refreshing. Thank you for creating a space that is both thought-provoking and entertaining. – Ellie Anest CEO & Co-Founder, Eleven Eleven Winery

WillieDickJohnsonBoomer PoliticsA lot of politics—which is fine. The cognitive dissonance of hating Trump and Elon while loving Dr. Oz and Bill Maher is too “Ok, Boomer” for my taste, though.
-
Bob_W.Cry HarderJust another set of leftist malcontents complaining about Trump.

FORNGJAppreciative - please continue to educate and inspire!Value your insights, experience, diligence and passion. When trade between countries is mutually beneficial and respectful, they are less likely to nuke each other. Antagonistic approaches to trade increase the global nuclear risk profile. This concern should be the one issue that binds both the left and the right. No one should be sleeping easy tonight. Please carry on!
-
JTH080Painfully insecureKara is unlistenable. This much ego and insecurity, lack of humility and embarrassing sense of grandeur in an older woman is painful to behold.
-
goldlimnahOne of the bestI really appreciate the perspectives that both of them bring to the table, and that they can call things how they are without a partisan lens.
-
Jason_o0Trump, Elon, Trump, ElonThis podcast has always been one of my favorites but lately it’s nonstop Trump and Elon updates. Something I can find anywhere and everywhere. Miss the variety the show used to explore.

Davy Jones manPivot, aka “Kara and Scott Complain about Trump and Musk for 2 Hours a Week”I’ve been a listener for close to two years now. I love the banter between these two, their (seemingly) unlikely friendship, and their valuable insight based on their fascinating careers. But I’ve just made the decision to unfollow the show. For the past 6 months, maybe more maybe less, it would be accurate to describe the show as “Kara and Scott complain about Trump and Musk for an hour,” and as much as I love these guys, I’m just tired of it. It just feels so meaningless to listen to these two people twice a week say “Trump/Musk shouldn’t be doing this! He shouldn’t be allowed to do this!” while Trump and Musk continue unabated. I think I’m just tired of podcasters who are all talk and (little to) no action. I don’t need someone to tell me how bad Trump and Musk are; I am well aware. What I need are people who are actually doing something about it, and who might inspire or enable me to do something as well. And if that’s not what Kara and Scott are interested in being, then I just wish they could find something else to talk about.
-
JCHWIIt’s getting oldI have been listening to the Pivot pod for several years now. I’ve always enjoyed it because it passes my test for media. I find it entertaining and informative. But the past year it has become all too predictable. Bash Trump and Musk. Every episode is the same. If I want to hear this I can just watch MSNBC. How about some more news, guests, on current tech and media? Get back to what made you two popular in the first place.
-
Denise/New EnglandLost faith in this podcastI used to really value your podcast because I believed it was objective, providing genuine facts rather than political spin. Unfortunately, it has started to resemble shows like those of Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, and Michael Savage, focusing more on spinning the facts than presenting them truthfully.

laurainminnesotaJen Psaki everywhere yay!Loved this episode. JP is great! While SG jokes are groaners most times, I laughed out loud at the sock joke!
