JAHK11610My Spiritual MamaHow do I put into words what this podcast has meant to me? I’ve been listening since 2017 and, over the course of the years, Christy has become my spiritual mama from afar… who doesn’t even know me. 😂 Christy’s wisdom, saturation in Scripture and the Spirit, storytelling, humor, candor, vulnerability, willingness to invite us in to her joys, her griefs, her awe, her ponderings (I could literally go on forever) - all of these things have enriched my life and my walk with the Lord beyond what words could ever convey. Walking through the darkest days of my life in recent years, Christy’s tender and encouraging voice has been a constant soundtrack in the background, urging me to keep coming back to Christ, softening my spirit to see the ways He’s at work, centering my heart on the bullseye and not what the world says I should be able to carry, and hoping for what He’s accomplishing for me while He’s making me in the secret. I don’t know how to sum up almost a decade of impact. But suffice it to say, if you’re not listening to The Glorious in the Mundane, I beg you to start now. It will bear tremendous fruit in your life. And to Christy, even though you don’t know me, thank you for loving me and continuing to step into this space. You are a beautiful treasure!

SierraGrannieSeason 10 Episode 3-All That We HoldI loved this episode for so many reasons, where do I start? I’m in the season of grown children who have flown the nest and now have children of their own. I think the explanation of “perfect” wings is absolutely beautiful. The concept of completion reminded me of Phil. 1:6, He who began a good work in you will carry it in to completion. Relying on the Holy Spirit is crucial to every season of parenting but not always easy to remember. Praise God for faithfully carrying us as we carry our precious loved children. Thank you for sharing this episode.

Karenza:)Blessed to be encourage by deep bible insightsThis podcast has been a blessing for me in so many ways and levels. It has allow me to continue the journey of learning what God had made to be. It is quite amazing how much I can relate to Christy and her Christ-center point of view. I’m a creative person who leads worship and have embrace the call of worship.I’m also a mother with a deep conviction of having God in every aspect of my life to fulfill the most important task of nurturing my children. It has been an encouraging experience to listen to this podcast. It is inspiring, has giving me the tools to learn how to allow God to plant me where He wants me to be planted and let Him prune me and continue the process of blooming for His glory. I’m in the planting stage and I know that God is preparing me to bloom, but to bloom to bring others to the awareness that God is present in the mundane. May God continue to guide your journey Christy and Ethan Nockels.

-
whitacrerThank you!!I was a student at Passion when many of these songs Christy shares about were first written and sung. Hearing her talk about them opens my eyes to the formative influence she’s had on my life and walk with God. These stories and songs have blessed my life! Thank you, Christy!
-
LY ag!A Grateful ListenerChristy, thank you for sharing your podcast with so many people who, like me, are greatly encouraged in listening. I feel like the lyrics of one of your songs are very fitting: “oh, you have blessed my life…more then you’ll ever know….and may the blessing return to you a hundredfold.” I love your heart, and your calming voice. Each episode of your podcast feels like I’m sitting with you and just getting to have a conversation with a trusted friend. I’m praying for you! Gratefully, Robin Purifoy Wall

LMPShopCaptivate us!My husband and I had the song “Captivate Us” played at our wedding 15 years ago this month. What a joy to hear this podcast and new recording today. This is still the prayer of my heart even more now than it was then. God is still using your ministry of music in my life. Thank you Christy! I loved hearing your daughter’s beautiful voice! 🧡
-

4momKGriefOh how precious your words are as you recount the loss of your mother and how they are truly as Heb. 10:22-25 encourages. Worship flows through every part of your families journey of grief. Thanks for sharing that we may learn from your family how to grieve well.
-

Kimberly in Arkansas 💗Favorite Podcast of AllThis is m All Time favorite podcast. It’s the one I recommend to anyone who is needing a new podcast to listen to. Christy is encouraging, steeped in the scriptures, funny, calming and a Truth bearer! She will feel like your good friend after you spend 30” or an hour with her! The best podcast for your soul!!
-
jamie@graceLife-giving!This podcast has breathed life into my soul for the last 6 years now. I am so thankful for Christy’s desire to cling to truth in a culture where so many are falling captive to lies. I have listened to this podcast on the dusty roads of Tanzania as my family and I served there, in the wooded paths of NC during a confusing time of quarantine, at the break of sunlight in MO during a season of healing and waiting, and now in the heat of Papua New Guinea where I am learning to trust Jesus in new ways. In each place where God has placed me, the encouragement of this podcast has met me and my heart has been drawn near to the Father. Although I’ve never met Christy, I consider her a mentor and friend.

amross411MY ALL TIME FAVORITE 🤍I’ve been listening since 2018 and am ALWAYS so grateful when an episode drops as the Lord consistently uses in my life to remind me of all that is true about Himself and His relationship to His beloved. Words truly cannot express the impact it’s had in various seasons of life. I am DEEPLY grateful for Christy’s voice having followed her and her ministry for the past 20+ years — being first introduced to her music at the age of 12 during a Point of Grace concert 🥰
-
MbLindyJust the BEST!Love this podcast- such a safe place to fall and be encouraged. Real, relatable, no pretense. Christy speaks from the heart and shares so openly - always pointing you to the Word and the Savior. So grateful for Christy’s honesty and shepherding in this platform. 🙌❤️🙏
-
Bitnbama12What a treasure!Christy has a gift of raw storytelling that’s deeply embedded with truth straight from the Word of God. Her music is what my children fall asleep to (and myself if I can’t get my brain to quiet). Her Christmas album is on repeat every year in our home. They bring us to a place of authentic worship. Her podcast is just as excellent! She has a peace and joy about her that’s captivating — a true reflection of the One she serves. Every episode points listeners to Jesus. I so appreciate her openness and vulnerability to share her personal experiences. They remind me Hope is alive and his name is Jesus.
-
elledub4Love this!I love Christy’s podcast! She brings comfort, wisdom, and the love of Jesus each episode. I feel like she’s a big sister in Christ that helps me refocus on what really matters. Thank you for being there, Christy!
-
kjfca98The Best!!!With her creative gifts and prophetic voice, Christy always seems to “read my mail.” As she drinks deeply at His feet, the Lord spills over in her lyrics and words for us. What a timely gift this podcast has been in critical moments of my life. Even today, with the Autumn sun streaming down, I walked and absorbed God’s words and loving direction again, as I listened to Home. From season 1, episode 1, until now - I feel like I’ve journeyed with a true sister from afar. So thankful for your investment ❤️
-
Hannah from CheyenneFeeds the soul straight from the Fathers heart! After 12 years of music ministry at the same church , my husband and I were asked to step down due to the church deciding to go in a “different direction.” As my husband and I grieved deeply this change in our lives, I was searching for truth and encouragement so that we could honor the Lord in our suffering. I turned on Christys podcast “Come Magnify” where she introduced her new song and within minutes of listening, found myself weeping in my kitchen. Her words weren’t her own, but her Father’s… and my Father’s. And in one breath of Truth, she was able to preach to her own heart and mine. I know that when I turn on this podcast, I will hear the Father’s voice.. although in the moment, may sound more like a sweet southern accent :) thank you Christy for your faithfulness in the little things. I can’t tell you how many times my heart has found encouragement through your words!
-
VS Jesus GirlLove this Podcast!!This podcast brings me so much peace and comfort. I love Christy’s soothing voice and her open heart and love for the Lord! So happy I found this podcast and can’t wait to binge listen them all!! I’m a forever fan!! 😃

Joyful TXSuch a Gift!Christy’s calming presence and soothing voice brings such peace. I love her storytelling and thought provoking reflection. One of my favorite podcasts!
-
Cooldog270So glad I stayedLong time fan of the music, started listening to the podcast during the Psalm 119 deep dive, 2022 has me with way too much on my plate, that I’ve been letting any podcast longer than 20 minutes expire. But todays episode I found so relatable. It’s where I am right now. Thankyou for sharing. 💕 and my fave song of all time you didn’t mention is “Don’t you Know” it’s a love song from the Lord!
-
ctoannntA GiftThis podcast has been such a gift to me! Christy feels like a dear friend. I have been so encouraged by her biblical teaching as well as her music. This podcast has also prompted me to memorize scripture. At the end of every podcast I feel encouraged and blessed. Thank you Christy for being so genuine and for sharing your obvious love for God in a way that points others to Him!
-
AngvadSafe spaceI have listened to almost every episode and I just want to start by saying thank you. I am a clinical mental health counselor that sees both Christian and non-Christian clients. As you might imagine in the world that we are living in…I am managing a lot of emotions and fears and anxiety both from my faith base community and non-faith based community. For me this podcast has been a calm from the storm and I plug-in to find rest and rejuvenation, your voice is so soothing and calm and peaceful and reminds me of where I need to put my own mind and emotions and praise. Thank you so much for the work that you do ❤️ it means so much to me and the clients I have forwarded your material to. Wish you were my neighbor!
-
kimber1200Forever GratefulI have been listening to Christy’s amazing podcast for several years. I can so relate to her and the ups and downs of life along with the opportunities for growth. Christy is real, authentic and transparent which I appreciate so much. I enjoy how she shares her heart openly and models how to speak to God and invite the Holy Spirit in. My absolute favorite things is Christy’s comforting tone of voice. She is so sweet and kind. When my day is crazy and I feel out of sorts, the mere sound of Christy’s voice brings great peace. This is something I would do when I would have the ability to call my mom. I no longer have that opportunity as she went to be with the Lord 16 years ago. Thank you Christy for providing peace
-
Mommy VazquezThank youChristy’s music has marked so many of my life moments. I was saved in college and fell in love with a water mark song “captivate us”. In our wedding, the party walked down the aisle to “by our love”. When my second son was born and very uncomfortable with reflux I used the lullaby album to comfort and calm him. Then, I saw her on her Christmas tour in cumming, GA and discovered this podcast and literally listened to every episode from that moment forward. I began to connect even deeper with her content. I feel that we share similar experiences with our kids and walk with Jesus. As the podcast grew and time passed, I loved the content even more. I love what she presents because you know she has studied and wants to help us grow deeper in relationship with god, our father. All that to say, I am a huge fan and I am thankful for the time she puts in to bring us a good work.
-
DisappointedcusBeautiful, well done podcast 🤍Christy’s podcast was the only sound that quieted my fussy baby as an infant & 6 years later her Lullaby album calms him like none other. Christy’s voice - both speaking & singing- is warm and comforting like a cup of tea with a friend, a good cry & a big hug. Her words are thoughtful, spirit filled & kind. This podcast ministers to some of the driest places of my soul 🤍
-
Jan/RuthLike A Visit/Bible time with a best friendThe Glorious in the Mundane! It is such a gift…. Christy, your calm spirit, your beautiful teaching, your heartfelt honesty, and your love for the Lord is clearly felt! Thank you for this podcast! It is my favorite time of the week! God bless you!
-
JnmathisenSuch a precious giftI cannot tell you the number of times I have listened to this podcast and wept. Christy has the gift of beautiful vulnerability that makes you feel less alone and known. She has a relationship with the Lord that makes you want Him more, too. I am so grateful for the generous way that she pours out to us!
-
PsalmladyLove this podcastThis is definitely one of my favorite podcasts. I feel like Christy has the best heart for worship and for loving on His people. Ive led worship at different times in my life and just singing in worship during church to me feels like the closest i can get to heaven this side of heaven. I pray God continues to work through this ministry for many years 💙
-
LauraboazHe’s always been faithful ✨Christy, I have listened to your podcast since college (so maybe the beginning?). The way you let the Holy Spirit speak through you has helped me in so many ways. God made you for this- so thank you for obeying him and drawing me closer to HIM!
-
MomwithlittlesSummers EndI was so affected by the “Summer’s end” episode. You had me weeping by the end. We recently had to move out of our home for months while it got renovated from mold. Being away from home and the cultivation and beauty and rhythm it embodies has been incredibly hard. And to have to let go of many possessions in the process. Thank you for reading that book to us, for mothering me and making my life feel seen. I love when the squirrels are told to leave and never come back, reminding me of close encounters with the demonic over the past few years. They do not have the last say, either in our temporal homes or our eternal one. And the reminder that cultivating our homes and using them to nurture others is a “kingdom come” work. It is where heaven often meets earth for me.
-
kmac0913One of my favoritesThis is one of my favorite podcasts. I return to it anytime I need encouragement or some peace/calm in my day. I love Christy’s gentleness, candor, wit, and depth of love for Christ and how it comes through each episode, not to mention her music, of course!
-
deOrlando88Abide - a perfectly timed release for my ♥️Thank you, Christy. It’s no coincidence this song and mini episode 1 was released on the anniversary of a loved one’s death. Jesus sees me and draws close.
-
Katie McAlpineThank youChristy, your podcast is so inspirational and honest and raw. I love your message and how you weave God’s word into your daily life and share with us practical ways to do the same. I know you haven’t recorded new episodes but I look forward to listening to your podcast every chance I get. God has gifted you with such amazing talents for bringing others into his kingdom and I am grateful for the way your podcast speaks directly to my life through the Holy Spirit. Thank you for sharing so openly. It has been a blessing in my life.
-
lillyndieLove this! Miss it.I have been listening to this podcast for awhile. While there are not current episodes being recorded, I have loved going back and listening to older ones. Christy’s words are drenched in honey and so healing to the soul—definitely a Jesus thing. Thank you so much Christy!
-
Nikki from @Rare_MamasGreat message !Love your message!
-
SherilynGrantPeacefulI have been listening to your podcast since it started, and I hope you never change the intro music because as soon as I hear it, it’s like my soul instantly relaxes and settles down to receive. I have been conditioned by the intro music, and I’m okay with that. :) Thank you for allowing the Holy Spirit to use you and for your life-giving ministry in this place . ❤️
-
AnnoraMFSo good for the soulI loved Watermark in the early 2000’s. Fast forward 20 years through two children who are now young adults and a divorce. I was reminded how much I love her during IF: Gathering 2021. I bought her audio book and I can’t turn the podcast off! I’m so glad to have so many seasons to catch up on! The sheer genuine approach to life, backed by scripture, based on finding the glorious in the mundane... such an inspired and intentional approach to life. Which does, often, feel mundane. I am going to listen to it all. And then again. And maybe again, until finding the glorious isn’t an effort or a to-do, but becomes part of who I am. A mom, a wife, a sister, a friend, and most importantly, a child of God. Thank you, Christy!! Your willingness to share your journey will help so many.
-
Theresa CroftIn My Passenger Seat In My Truck!I had a trip by myself today. As I went thru my podcast list I landed onto Christy’s podcast. I was instantly moved.... no less on the rest note as God had deposited a rest to run word for this year. But what captivated me was the way Christy hit the heart and soul issues. After just a few minutes listening, I felt she was in the truck with me. I hurt deeply with her news about her mom...(praying now for sure) and felt that space deep to the desire to belong and be known, not by what we do but for who we are! I’ll be ordering her book for sure. We need real and kind voices who come unmasked with all their own issues and strings of their inner package to say .... you are enough! I’m also inspired to find a way to really be real and connect with the few dear friends who get me. Zoom it is right now! Thank you Christy! Theresa Croft Kingdom Mentor Podcast
-
MadisonathompThank you for teaching us!I have loved the Glorious in the Mundane podcast for years. It all started when I discovered your podcast, I think you had 9 episodes at the time and I decided to go for a walk each day and binge-listen to the series. Now, I am always caught up and I can’t wait for a new episode. Each time I open my Podcast app and see that I have a new GITM episode, my day is instantly made!
-
KathleenJaneBest!!I so enjoy Christy’s depth of insight! Her tender and beautiful voice matches her heart. This podcast has been the sweetest encouragement for my heart! It’s my favorite.
-
m/mmIn Every Way... i believe that the first line in that song is "...🌅As the sun begins to shine in that moment YOU are GOD, in the darkness of the night 🌌even then YOU are GOD. Is that correct? Because it could also be GUIDE🤭GOD through the indwelling power of HIS HOLY SPIRIT is my GUIDE. Thank you Christie Knockles for helping us see the GLORIOUS in the mundane. i especially appreciated your guest today--i will try to get that book @ a local bookstore😘🌻🍂m/mm

T.H.MusicBlessed!This podcast has been a light in the darkness over and over. Christy - thank you for your wisdom, your heart, your Light, and the life you are living out before Him and the world. I have always loved your music, and now I understand why. Your heart is in all you do, and your love for the Lord is overflowing. May you be blessed, knowing you are blessing many hearts through your ministry.

readyforlifeThank you!I’m glad I was told about this podcast series by a friend. It’s nourishment for my soul...and has seen me through some really hard days! I resonate with this podcast on so many levels and Christy is like a soul sister as she shares from her heart of worship. I’m so thankful for for the ways it has helped deepen my relationship with the Lord.

_kjloostTruly beautifulBefore listening, I scrolled through a few reviews and kept seeing the podcast explained as “beautiful” over and over. I thought it was a little strange to call a podcast beautiful... but after listening, YES. This is simply beautiful. Beautiful is the only way to describe it. This is my new favorite podcast!!
