OuttoftimeUsed To EnjoyI’ve been listening to theses reports for some time and enjoyed them. Except, recently, I’ve noticed the sudden commercial interruption during the segment. Is this really necessary? The segments run 20 minutes at most. There are enough ads at the start and the end. Squeezing in two or three additional ads are an unnecessary distraction and forcing me to consider unsubscribing scribing for all the Wired podcasts.
-
HeatherMerBoring bot reading a scriptThis is just a voice actor reading an article. Dry and boring with no lively commentary or color.
-
statedept1515Too politically leftThere’s also a sort of apocalyptic thinking that creeps into most episodes. There are bad things in the world, but this podcast dwells on the negative far too much
-
kellen18LacklusterScript sounds like it was AI generated and narrated.
-
Rain finally! No audio personalityNarrator reading news articles. No personality! Cmon Wired, grow a backbone.
-
MSIII3Miss the techThis once was a short tech podcast but now not short (<5 minutes) and not much about tech. New topics are interesting enough but not why I had subscribed.
-
disorganizedrobotTech in..9+ minutes? Why is “Tech in Two” now regularly ~10 minutes? I added it to get quick hit news, and now I have to ffwd through 9 minutes about glitter. I’m so confused. No communication to the listener about format change or even a rebrand.
-
erica7791BiasedLeft wing propaganda. They tried pulling the strings for Biden by going on about how he doesn’t know how to tweet and therefore you should vote for him. Another unsurprising case of media malfeasance.
-
mark31415Tooooo PokiticalNicholas Thompson needs to leave his heavy handed politics at home and stick to the technology. Seems it was betters few months ago. If this continues to happen I suspect lots will unsubscribe which would be a shame.

Spen90Good content, bad audioEdit: 8/4/20 The quality was much better this episode! Previous comment: He has great content, not the best speaker but not horrible as others mentioned. The audio quality is what gets me, there’s so many decent USB mics for a podcast that sound better than this, it’s as if he’s recording on his phone. Today’s episode really got me, I couldn’t even focus because I could hear people (assuming kids & wife) and birds in the background. I’m all for comfortable WFH situations but if you’re going to be recording such a short podcast, at least hide in the bathroom for 5mins to record (plenty great albums were recorded with bathroom acoustics).
-
despanzAnnoyingThe editor should not be allowed to host anything. His audio is bad and both him and his podcast are far left on the political spectrum. I want tech news, not political opinions.
-
Max L's MomShort & Sweet & LOVE the birds in the background! Thanks for the birds in the background that brighten my COVID day!
-
gcvdsGood content poor executionI have enjoyed the content but am unsubscribing because the sound quality is so annoying. The volume level is uneven and Thompson sounds like he’s recording from his bathroom. I don’t understand why a premier tech media company can’t do better than this.
-
e4r7hbugNeeds volume levelingThe content is usually pretty good, but the into, outro, and advertisements are way too loud.
-
MusicMaster19A Total EmbarassmentThis podcast is a total joke. The audio quality is so poor that the host sounds like he’s on the moon. The host is a terrible speaker and needs lessons on public speaking and how to enunciate. Leave the vocal fry to teenage girls. Why not get the professionals who voiced the intro and let the host go back to his Jr. High morning pa announcements.
-
listener 974Frustrating AudioI love the content of this show. However, the audio is so frustrating. The main host will sound really loud and then all the sudden it’s like he’s whispering and you can’t hear what he said. Then the ads start and it’s a whole new level of loud. I have to adjust the volume more times within a 2 minute span than seems reasonable.
-
jaegertierHorrible audioSomeone show this guy how to speak into a mic. Sharp Volume difference is really annoying. Love the content tho

N.O.V.A. InspiredLove itI saw their YouTube a couple of weeks/months ago and decided to give them a try here as they've made their YT quite entertaining. It's fun, family friendly and short. I'd love a longer version if possible to hear while I'm driving, but hey, that's just a suggestion. I feel like you've set an aim at a short 3 min or less and it seems like you have saved countless minutes of people's lives by doing so, attracting more users. Keep it up! We hear you. Best regards, a viewer.
-
DizzyCorgisGreat content, poor audio qualityLove the short and sweet summary of interesting tech news, but please do something about the poor audio quality. Some episodes sound fine and then others are terrible. Surprising for a tech podcast.
-
chucklejPentagon podcastSo you’re Schiffless podcast today on a supposedly news podcast states with, even as you put it no actual PROOF!, that the pentagon may have awarded Microsoft it’s cloud business cause Trump hates Bezos and so he influenced the head of the defense dept. How about waiting for actual proof before you state something that some people will take as gospel. Talk about stoking the fires.
-
JeffySpeaks! Not bad, but...I (try) to listen to this podcast every day. It’s a GREAT source of info on what’s happening in tech. Two minor complaints: One, please see if the volume on the main male commentator (I’m sorry that I don’t know his name) can be adjusted. He either sounds like he’s recording in a cave, or he goes from being almost whisper-like to YELLING. Unbearable, at times. Second, please stick to tech. Updates on the drama in Washington, D.C. have nothing to do with technology news.
-
gerredmanoLove the spoken editionIt's great to be able to digest articles on the go thanks to this service. The half-dozen vocies that read me the latest WIRED articles have become SO familiar to me, I often hear their voices when I'm reading articles on my tablet! Thanks for everything you read, you guys.

aperpinalSo badThis is my first podcast review ever, and it’s not going to be good. This podcast is so bad I had to completely remove it from my Google Home News selection. The topics are unappealing, and boring.
