I found this podcast 4 years ago and God used Leslie’s Biblical encouragement to kickstart growth in many areas I was lacking in my relationship with God. I am so so thankful for this resource- thanks Leslie and Eric for bringing a message that is bold and not watered down!

I have been reading Set Apart Girl articles since I was a young teen. I am now approaching 30, and the Lord is still using this ministry as a foundational source of encouragement, wisdom, and correction. Leslie is faithful in presenting gospel centered insight, and scripture saturated advise. I remember being 15 years old, and soaking up these biblical truths. I am now married with a child, and I can see how God used this ministry to provide practical advise throughout my life (being a teen, single, dating, marriage, motherhood, ministry, etc)

I love Leslie’s podcast. Her message is filled with biblical truth and personal insight. As a young lady I really appreciate the topics she covers. Would highly recommend!

I send this podcast to everyone. It is full of scriptures, quotes from heroic Christian women who have gone before us, challenging exhortation and no fluff. This has been one resource that has really helped me in my relationship with Christ this year. Leslie does such a great job of guiding the focus off of ourselves or the things around us. Every episode points to Jesus. In addition, the episodes are PACKED with wisdom. Sometimes I don’t have time to listen to a Christian podcast filled with small talk or light discussions. But with this podcast I am always guaranteed to get good advice, wisdom, and guidance efficiently. What I’m trying to say is that Leslie is very purposeful with her words. I love it.

She helps take the truths I know in my heart, and helps put them into words. Like a snarled ,tangled, mess of string being woven into a beautiful tapestry. Thank you for all you do.

If you were looking for a job, God isn’t just dropping a job in your lap. Just because she met her spouse by chance doesn’t mean everyone does. Promoting that we should “just wait” is harmful advice I took, and I learned the hard way that it’s not God’s job to do everything for you. I used that advice as an excuse to not do my part and not try to meet people. You have a role too if you want a spouse, and you partner with God in it. And this is coming from someone who volunteers several hours a week, so it’s not like wanting marriage and serving are mutually exclusive. And get this, she was married at 19. She hasn’t experienced singleness in her 20s. And she has the audacity to write a book telling singles how to feel about a season she’s never been in. Hopefully by 2020, she’s eaten those words, because a third of couples meet online now. People in general gather online now.

Last night I downloaded this podcast to listen to because I have been struggling with my own faith and being closer to God and taking time out of my day to pray or read scripture. While getting ready this morning, I listened to my very first episode of this podcast “wrestling for your children’s souls”. 15 minutes into listening it, I literally fell to my knees and I started sobbing and praying to God on my bathroom floor. When I thought that my prayer was over, the last 5 minutes of the podcast passed and I had to pause the podcast from playing on to the next episode... I just sat down and cried over again and prayed more!! I don’t think that I’ve ever felt more guilty and more convicted to be dedicated to God && talking to my child more about Jesus and to pray to God FOR child and for myself. I am literally shaking as I write this, with fresh tears in my eyes. I cannot wait to envelop myself in the entirety of this podcast and to be more involved in the word of God and to share it with my boy. ♥️

I found this podcast on the podcast app when I first became a Christian last year. When I started listening to the Setapartgirl Podcast, I thought Leslie was a little too strict in her Christian walk, but I kept listening. As I started taking on her habits and burning desire for Jesus, I now understand that her narrow walk she was leading and teaching about was what God tells us about with his very specific guidelines on how to live life to the full and be rich in heaven! This Setapartgirl podcast has completely transformed my life with Jesus and I hear God speaking to me through Leslie in each episode! All of the glory to God who has led me to this podcast and helped me grow in my spiritual walk with Him. I always recommend this podcast to everyone I care about and can’t recommend it enough! I suggest listening to all of the episodes, even if you think the title doesn’t relate to you in your life right now, trust me!

Very encouraging! One thing I love about this is that it applies regardless of where you are at in life! Single, newly married, mom to more than one...it applies to all! Very few podcasts pull that off! It’s nice because it’s fitting for my life, but I can also recommend it to friends in all other stages of life, and it’s still applicable for them too!!

It could be better. She seems condescending at times. She’ll say to not manipulate a man, yet tells a story that comes off as manipulative and testing a man for no good reason. Then, she has episodes on ‘guiding’ a man to be strong or honourable or whatever. She can’t get past being 17. She has good thoughts, but I’d prefer hearing them from someone else.

I enjoy listening to Leslie’s graceful approach to living set apart!

Christ centered women of all ages and all stages in their walk with God will be greatly blessed over and over again with this podcast. Leslie is a wonderful woman of God bringing the truth I always need to hear.

This podcast stands out to me because it doesn’t give any advice outside of Biblical truths. Leslie Ludy does a wonderful job pointing women straight to Christ, rather than worldly resources. I have listened to almost every podcast & none have failed to encourage me and strengthen my walk with God!

Thank you so much for helping me to catch a vision for what Christianity should look like. I grew up in church wondering what was missing... why Christianity wasn’t working for me or those around me... I was sent out into the unprepared. It wasn’t till my mid-20s (around 2009) I discovered Eric’s sermons online through a post my cousin posted to Facebook and began listening. I knew I had found the missing pieces and I have been coming here for spiritual encouragement ever since.... Thank you.

Biblical truth, told from a heart that has been sanctified and set apart for the Masters use. These podcasts have helped me through some rough patches in my spiritual journey and brought me closer to the Lord. As a youth ministers wife, I will use some of these lessons for my young ladies and pray God will change them from the inside out as well.

I am a mama of three small children and a military wife, and I can’t say how encouraged I have been the last nine months listening to Leslie’s podcast. I LOVE that she doesn’t ramble and discuss things forever. The information is concise and to the point, I never feel like a minute of my limited time is wasted listening. I spend a lot of evenings by myself as my husband is in the field, and listening to these while I clean the kitchen has refreshed and encouraged my weary heart many a night. The Set Apart Girl Podcast has encouraged me as a single, 21 year-old gal! This podcast is well put together from the intro/outdo calming music, to the calm, well-worded Leslie, & to the topics she discusses! I enjoy being fed with this virtual community & mentor, especially when I feel there isn’t many godly young women around! Something I would enjoy to see in the future would be Christian book recommendations & guest speakers (like Girl Defined Ministries)!

I’ve followed along with Ludy publications for a decade and this podcast is one of my favorite sources of biblical truth, encouragement and inspiration for my drive each day. Today, after a very emotional day, I found “Victory Over Meltdowns” and listened three times. I’m laid out! So completely grateful for the work that goes into these podcasts. They bless my life!
