The premise of the show would be great if the hosts were funny instead of interrupting good scenes with the most stupid comments possible or several minutes of laughter. Also it's a bit of a buzzkill to have to turn the volume up and down 10 clicks every 5 seconds because of how loud they laugh and suddenly yell into the mic

Peanut gallery comments during the fanfiction readings. I can fast forward through the inane conversations but they don’t stop as they should when reading the fanfiction.

I found this when I was looking for more podcasts about fanfiction, and it took me months to listen to an episode. I’m currently at work and thank god it’s a Friday and no one else is here because I’m not well. The hosts are extremely funny and the banter:content ratio is *chef’s kiss*. I’ve only listened to two episodes and I cannot wait to listen to more.

Promising in theory but trash in execution

I have never written a podcast review before but I finally decided it was time to heap as much praise upon Allie, Danny, and Cher- oh I mean Lyndsay as I can. I started listening to Fangasm (née Potterotica) the spring before my first year of college. I’ve been an avid Harry Potter fan since I was a child and a reader of fan-fiction since my later high school years so when I heard of Potterotica on Good Mythical Morning I was intrigued to say the least. I swiftly sped my way through all the seasons and quickies and these three weirdos kept me company through the fall as I settled into college. I was deeply upset when I heard the news of the switch to Fangasm and took a break from the show, besides occasionally re-listening to old seasons. This summer, having just graduated from college, I decided to finally venture back into the horny madness and listened to the newer Harry Potter seasons and then even their seasons from other fandoms. Somehow, despite my utter lack of knowledge or interest in Marvel or Star Wars or Game of Thrones, Allie, Lyndsay, and Danny continue to never fail to entertain and make me laugh and simply brighten my day. They have been a wonderful help in these difficult transitional times in my life and I am so happy that they have continued to grace the internet with their laughter and impressions and puns galore. Thank you guys for all the joy you spread 💛✨

Just discovered this podcast and am obsessed. Taking it in all at once, just like Luke Skywalker takes in Han Solo’s…love! The hosts are hilarious. Love the early Potter seasons, but also sending a special thanks for pandering to Gen X with the Star Wars season. I never thought I could laugh this hard while moisture farming.

Don’t be fooled by the fact that Allie Danny and Cheryl waited until season 20 to record a proper intro, this pod is amazing. So funny in the best and strangest of ways. Highly recommend!

I can’t get enough of this podcast! I am still getting caught up, but 9 out of 10 times I’m laughing so hard I’m crying! These 3 are so perfect together I could easily listen to them all day talk about anything really! I get a little excited when I’m driving somewhere alone so I can listen in the car!

This podcast was a godsend when I was recovering from cancer. I’d listen to it as I was doing my difficult physical therapy. These three are probably the only people who could have made me laugh at that time! They are so easily loveable and delightfully silly. They don’t take themselves seriously. This podcast is Witty and hilarious and the host work off each other like to potatoes in a jacket… lol. I listen to them over my AirPods while I’m working and they never fail to make me laugh and make my day go faster. I hope we can get another season soon.

I love this podcast and the golden trio, it’s hilarious and delightful and I’ve never laughed so hard from simple audio. The hosts are the type of people you just want to be friends with and they are so active in their fan community. I only wish I were as clever and quick as they are with their jokes. Danny Chapman, Allie LeFevere, and Lyndsay Rush (also known as Stephanie and Denise) are three of the funniest hosts I’ve ever listened to. They have an amazing friendship that adds a lot of hilarity and heart to their podcast, and I’m not entirely convinced that Allie and Lyndsay-Stephanie-Denise aren’t just one person switching places very quickly. The Horny Trio are also incredibly accepting and open when it comes to sexuality and identity, which I love more than words can express. Seriously, thank you guys for being amazing people, and for all of the laughs throughout the past few years!

For school, we had to listen to a podcast, any podcast we wanted, as long as we hadn’t listened to it before. I started on season 13, and i only had to listen to 1 episode. I was HOOKED! I finished the whole season and loved it! Since then I’ve gone back and listened to seasons 1 and 2 and i am halfway through the third. It is amazing. If you ever see me in the store with headphones laughing uncontrollably, I’m listening to this podcast.

I started listening to this podcast while traveling during my study abroad trip last year which was a huge mistake! I was constantly laughing out loud on planes and anywhere else in public. In all honesty, no other podcast has made me laugh like this one. I am not a fanfic reader so I was hesitant to start this pod, but the hosts are hilarious and so are the stories (it also helps that my sense of humor is that of a 12 year old boy). This is hands down my all time favorite podcast. Its the only one that has me consistently, and constantly, bursting out into laughter or a fit of giggles. I work in a high tech manufacturing plant and I honestly LOVE the look on people's faces when they ask what I'm listening to and I try to describe it lol It makes my day every time. I cannot express just how happy I am that the pod came back! I discovered and binged and caught up with it just in time for it to end and I'm super stoked that I get to listen to it in real time and have the opportunity to participate in future games, contests, songs, memes, art, etc. Woohoo!

This is the only podcast I’ve ever relistened to because it’s that funny. Danny, Lyndsey and Allie are all equally so witty, punny and never disappoint with the 90’s references! You laugh, you cry from laughing and if you’re like me, blush wildly and avoid fellow drivers eye contact at the red lights. If your looking for an audio book style podcast this aint it, they’re here to make you laugh. I do however love when it get’s so steamy they forget to make a joke. They’ve got seasons of Harry Potter, The Office, Game of Thrones and now Star Wars fan fiction to satisfy a bunch of listeners. If none of that interests you, I genuinely hope you find a podcast that brings you as much joy and laughter as this one does for me. During these high stress times we could all use some laughs!
