    My comfort podcast!
Thank you for always pointing me to gospel truth and encouraging me in Jesus! As I serve on the field in the Middle East and do not have access to good Christian community or a local church to fill me up spiritually, I cannot even explain how meaningful and helpful your podcast has been to me. It’s not only practically helpful, but it always centers me back on Jesus and the beauty of His nearness and promises. I need the reminder. Thank you!

    Scripture is physiologically engaging
Appreciate the teachings on how prayer and care for self and others has a way of regulating our bodies: blood pressure, physical and emotional pain, disordered eating/sleeping/cravings, etc. Another testament to the reality that the Holy Trinity meets ALL our needs. Thank you for sharing the Truth.

    Incredible podcast!
I love how CCEF practically engages Scripture and faithfully wrestles with modern problems. It’s hard to listen to any of their material without gaining insight. Thank you for your work!

    Counseling In The Local Church
Just want to say I am so thankful for CCEF and for their love and devotion to Christ and the care of His church. I highly recommend this podcast if you desire to truly think biblically about both your own heart and need for change and also how we may come along side others and see how the beauty of the gospel meets us where we are in our daily lives.

    Languishing episode
Please continue to speak to our hearts thru this podcast! I haven’t been able to put into words the “blah” feeling but you did! Languishing! And then you gave me scripture and truth to meditate on. It’s true. God is with me in the wilderness; yet, He is also shaping me on the journey through the wilderness. Focus on the fire within me. It’s leading me thru the wilderness.

    Loved the new episode format!
It’s good to have the podcast back, and I liked the new format with Alistair sharing reflections on rest. It almost sounded like a biblical meditation app with a reflective, contemplative tone that had practical applications and interesting anecdotes. I think this is a great format and I look forward to more great content!

    Really enjoy
Really enjoy this podcast. I used to think biblical counselors disregarded the study of psychology (and I really enjoy psychology) but I was wrong! The episodes are grounded in biblical truth (which is always challenging and life giving) and include insights gained from the field of psychology as well. The direction is very much how can we help people be healthy not for themselves alone but unto the Lord and others. Just a great podcast. (Also great introductory theme music).

    Awesome
Fantastic podcast. I am currently working on my degree as a counselor and I love the biblical counseling approach. I listen to many of these while I am at work. My only wish is that there were 5 new episodes a week haha. Great job, keep the faith, and please keep the podcasts coming!!! Thank you!

    Gentle, humanizing, Christ-like
What I find even more compelling than their spot-on counseling advice is the overall gentle and compassionate tone. It is very humanizing. Listening to the podcast is a washing of peace and wisdom. Thank you for this helpful resource!

    Awesome podcast
I’m happy to have found this podcast. As a graduate student studying to become a marriage and family therapist myself I find the podcasts to be very informative as well as thought provoking. I am grateful for the additional resources provided with each episode as well. As a believer in Christ who has a passion and desire to work in the secular field I thoroughly enjoy the Christian perspectives discussed in regards to the mental health.

    Ewwwww
Is it ok to be a stay-at-home-dad? Yikes!!! This is suppose to be biblical? Where in the world is Titus 2? This isn't about wisdom, this isn't about gifts, and God has established roles for each Gender, male AND female. It IS important to communicate the Kingdom of God. Titus 2 says, "older women teach the younger ladies to love their children." It doesn't say that to men. Unsubscribing now.
