leibee003Love NPRNPR is one of my only trusted news sources these days. The unbiased reporting brings clarity to the current political climate. I appreciate what NPR does for this country and will continue to listen everyday!

Che BlockDOGEcoinIs a crypto currency US DOGE Service Temporary Organization (USDSTO) is the Trump-Musk entity creating the chaos in our federal government. The fooled US media needs to quit incorrectly calling DOGE the department of government efficiently.

good game but needs a updateAbsolutely great!Factual reporting in a timely manner.

Ivan2gusDisappointed it goes straight far left and biasedAfter watching the CEO being grilled by the Congress I feel that this is not a channel for me anymore. I thought NPR should be balanced and not biased to the left. Disappointed that this channel is accepting money from Democrats. This is not right and align to an independent voter like me.

northbankerSuddenly much worseI’m a lifelong supporter of my local NPR station. I’ve listened to this hourly podcast for years. Typically the latest episode would be available within 15-20 minutes after the hour. Now it can be hours after that. If this is a conscious change please re-evaluate. If not, please fix. And I’ll be happy to change my rating then.

TiredNPRListenerBias by OmissionI’ve been a loyal NPR listener for years, but… Uri Berliner was right about their clear anti-Israel bias. This bias materially harms the Jewish community worldwide. For example, NPR never, ever mentions to their listeners that the Gaza Health Ministry is actually run by Hamas, the very US/EU-designated terrorist group that started the war against Israel. It’s gotten to the point that this omission seems like it’s being done very much by design, meant to harm the Jewish state by making listeners believe that the civilian death tolls reported by “Gaza health authorities” are somehow legitimate. They are not. For one, they never report casualty figures for their own fighters; this should clue most thinking-people in that this is propaganda, not news. I’m tired, NPR. Come back to reality.

whipitoutnowboyUNBIASED⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My only trusted source for news stories covering national and international events as well as business, health and wellbeing and science and medicine. They also cover topics like entertainment and the arts. Well rounded journalism that’s worth tuning into and supporting. 👍👍

Mac an tSionnaighAyesha Rascoe worse than Rachel Martin as a Host and that’s saying something.NPR has dumbed-down the news shows so much that it’s embarrassing. No wonder the NPR audience is shrinking.

DGS320Your need to include % changes along with point changes with stock, etc. market indexesYour quoting point changes in stock, etc. market indexes would become useful if you followed Kai Ryssdal’s example for how he reports them on Marketplace, i.e., include % chances.

KJBradyNPR has lost its wayYears ago, NPR was a bastion clarity, precision, and concision. In an attempt to get ahead of the newly installed fascist regime in America they have become a mouthpiece of oligarchy and forsaken every journalistic principle. May God have mercy on those benighted souls who still labor under the delusion that NPR bears any resemblance to journalism

Tahjma VanBurenSuper informative!I listen everyday!

Fatty2820Repeating liesRepeating lies is still being untruthful. I’ll not be listening anymore if you’re just going to bow down to pressure and repeat lies over and over and over again. NPR News podcast will now be deleted since they feel repeating lies from Trump and Musk is delivering us much needed “news”. You made your bed NPR, now you’ve got to sleep in it.

AmeliakeilyInformative snippetsInformative and just enough to keep you in the know throughout the day, staying on top of the most impactful news. Some repetitive information at times, but that’s likely because past episodes delete. Not related to content so does not affect my rating, but please edit the mouth sounds before release. Some narrators need to take a sip of water before speaking as their voice sounds so spitty and wet. And please tell Jack that it’s EE-Lon, not Uh-Lon Musk. Drives me mad!

FlyingCoco24Love it but want more episodes. It would be five stars if there was more episodes, like a weekly summary. I also don’t like that you have to be a subscriber to listen to the newest episodes. But I love all the news. Keep some of it up.

sexzyNessieNeed to check their factsSo sick of constantly hearing inaccuracies being reported. Also, no one needs like 10 of these a day.

Infini19A0Well doneThanks to Corva Coleman and many others at NPR for a great news program.

SkolniaSubscriber only? For NPR?!? Unforgivable. Disgusting. Despicable.Shame on the decision makers who made an NPR podcast subscriber only!

Michael BaBoringIsrael BiasStill calling the war in palestine a “fight against Hamas”, while reporting civilians and children being bombed in yet another genocidal bombing by Israel. Shame.

MKULTRA83Propaganda and trauma pornDelivered with the cadence, infliction and authority of a kindergarten teacher. Trauma porn sprinkled with completely useless fluff stories, no useful news. So what is the point? The point is to keep you afraid to teach you there are powerful people and forces outside your control. There aren’t. It’s class warfare. The sad thing is they won. You all volunteer to be slaves. That’s the best type, a self enslaved person. They say the world is scary and then remind you the ruling class will solve it. They make you all psychotic. Wake up. There are no leaders only violent people that exploit your short pathetic lives like cattle.

drjekyllmrleeWorks intermittently and annoysGood podcast but loads unevenly. I get some episodes on my phone and other episodes on my iPad. It also frequently stops after 20-30 seconds whereas my other podcasts play fine. As far as a paywall, you think it’s a few people reading a yahoo news feed? These people do real work and yes it’s sad that advertisements don’t put enough food on their table but you are free to subscribe or not? Any quality product usually costs 400-500% more than you think. Perhaps you would like to work for free? Bunch of entitled freeloaders. I freeload as well, I just don’t complain about it as if it is my right to quality journalism. Unsubscribe then! NPR won’t miss your entitled complaints. They are left of my politics but appreciate a different viewpoint. I don’t go to a soup kitchen and complain the foie gras is underdone! Not that NPR is some soup kitchen but you get my point. Say thank you and move on or unsubscribe. Nobody will miss your glass half empty approach to life. You wonder why you’re not at the point in life you imagined. Nobody likes a complainer. Offer solutions or shut up.

Rick in Half Moon BaySubscription only now?I can’t get past year subscription pay wall to listen to the news as of today. Is that the way it’s going to be going forward? If so, you’re going to lose me.

You1345sympathizersOptically apear to be unbiased but does incredibly skewed coverage of U.S. political and economic corruption, Israeli war, and true vectors or change. Likely funded by capitalist who benefit from the current systems.

KaisersealStill mad fakesStop listening when all was anti trump today tried still bashing Trump. Get over it you lost. Unsubscribed Not professional not news.

RobtheBobbyByePaywall? Really?
-
chadstuartShame NPR locked this behind a paywallNever would have expected a public radio broadcast to put up a paywall. This is a poor move. Not worth the star I have to tap in order to post this review.
-
Stella VindalooNational PUBLIC RadioI regularly support NPR and suddenly NPR News Now has an ad-free paywall and I can’t listen to the 10am update. Guess what? Today is Giving Tuesday and you’ve just been struck off my list. I’ll listen to the NYT morning headlines and read my daily paper. Buh-bye.

Appreciate AmericaLove NPRYes, I appreciate America. And that’s why I listen to NPR and contribute to it.

JayManCCurrent hour’s ep is only for paid members??Generally enjoy the quick news recap though I’ve noticed as of late November that the unplayed episodes are not clearing out - used to be when 10am was downloaded, the unplayed 9am would disappear, now it just keeps them all. Also seems that the current hour’s episode is only available to paid subscribers? So your (free) news is at least an hour old.
-
Sodak 34NPR News NowI will miss the hourly brief newscasts. I don’t like being coerced. I already subscribe to local NPR
-
Apalonia12Israel BiasHere we are, newest show posted 23 minutes ago knowing FULL-WELL that Israeli hooligans started the attacks and then cries the victim when people don’t put up with their bull. I don’t know why I haven’t unsubscribed before now. I was a loyal listener, but I cannot ignore your bias anymore. Do better.

kravloverToo far left instead of just reporting factsNPR does not just report the news, they are clearly trying to influence the election in favor of Harris. This should be unbiased reporting, just providing the fax as opposed to trying to sway the way people are receiving information. They have gone too far to the left.
-
moonminerForced downloadReport this show. I did not download nor did I follow this trash yet it keeps getting put in my upnext feed. This is a scam.
-
Schmatz74Irresponsible10/12/24. Today sensationalistic reporting is virtually irresponsible. Quoting a quick study by a group of scientist in London about the effect of humans on hurricane damage is irresponsible. Quick studies are scientifically insignificant and this quotation is only designed by NPR to insight emotions from gullible people. This on top of every time Republican officials say something, where NPR adds the world “falsely” to the Republican’s statement, is another example of biased reporting. Why can’t you just report the fax without inserting your opinions?
-
Ethan Allen Hawleythanks npri use this show to time my #2’s, with the added bonus of staying informed.

younc024Liberal newsLeft leaning news. I think they used to try to mask it, but now they openly embrace it
-
Christinam0227Where is US news?I listen to NPR news all the time but today 9/27/24 I listened to the 4pm update and there was not a single story about Hurricane Helene that is CURRENTLY hitting and affecting almost the entire southeast of the US with 30 reported deaths. The top story is about rockets in Hezzbolah? Please use common sense about what Americans want to hear on an American podcast when picking the stories.

YaditexasNo longer redeemableNPR is the same as mainstream news. Conveniently leaves out Israel of headlines when it comes to all the children who have been killed brutally in Gaza. I feel like I've wasted 25 years of my life listening to propaganda. I am never donating another penny to NPR. You will become obsolete.
-
UnderdogBobbyFormer contributor who has seen the lightI’ve always considered NPR a voice for the people, but recent events have shown me otherwise. The decision to agree to predetermined questions for Biden reveals that NPR is no different from the corporate-owned mainstream media. It’s clear now that they follow the same narrative, perpetuating the idea that our democracy offers only two choices for president—neither of whom truly represent the people. It's disheartening to see NPR align itself with the establishment. I no longer believe they deserve public support and hope they lose their funding from the people. Don’t waste your time or money supporting this farce.
-
TheWillTorresNo Ads PleaseI really love NPR. I listen daily. I donate annually. And I am concerned with advertisements creeping into every inch of the enterprise. Up First makes you sit through 2 to 4 advertisements before starting. For a five minute hourly news brief, please, please, please spare us. I understand you have to pay the bills, but this is getting ridiculous.
-
VPRMidwifeExcellent!Best podcast to have when breaking news happens. Everything NPR produces is fantastic.
