I loved this podcast so much and would use it to fall asleep. Now the Ads are so tacky and loud I can’t even enjoy the ambiance of the stories. Too bad he sold out 😞

I lovee Let’s Not Meet! The perfect amount of creepy needed but never too graphic or gory. These remind me of a fun modern version of chicken noodle soup for the soul! Keep up the amazing work!

95% of these stories are someone doing something with zero common sense then being like wow I can’t believe someone tried to rob me in my unlocked car sitting in the parking lot counting my money and lottery tickets… after they stood behind me and heard I bought $1000 of lottery tickets… honestly listening to some of these makes me hate people so much more are you really that dumb?! It makes my head hurt. Idiot shaming needs to be a thing, not encouraged by this podcast. If I was this stupid my dad would slap me upside the head to “reset my battery” with zero sympathy for my loss. Holy F these have to be fake… I hope they’re made up because society is sincerely doomed.

I really do love let’s not meet, I tune in every week, but the weird inflections make it hard to listen to sometimes. I liked the “lost episodes” where the narrator just read the story point blank without the pauses and the semi acting. Having ads for a church is also not great giving the context of the content.

Never get tired of listening to him tell these super creepy stories. Please don’t ever stop!!

Great show, but what annoys me most about the show is that at least 82.375% of the show revolves around men preying on women. I know you can only do the content that your given, but it would be nice if there was more stories of it the other way around. Women are psychos just as much if not MORE than guys are. Tired of us guys getting ALL the bad rep. It’s kind of sexist. Also getting tired of the “being polite to not be a nuisance” trope or the “Didnt want to be rude by assuming the worst” trope. You should absolutely trust your gut and always assume the worst about people until they give you reason to not to. DO BETTER.

Not sure why so many women are freaking out about content and women sticking up for themselves lol. He reads the stories submitted y’all. Get over yourselves. Keep up the great work!

I am glad that this podcast is NOT political. We all need a break from that. I like the stories, but I wish it varied a bit. It is repetitious I like Mr Andrew Tate’s voice. I look forward to hearing more stories. Thanks for making this podcast. Take Care everyone.

Don't listen to the complainers' misguided anger at the host for reading what REALLY happens in life. Trends exist ! It's not this show's fault. I find the hosts complete political neutrality REFRESHING! Keep telling stories - I'll keep listening ! You are great.

I only use this podcast to sleep to. The stories tend to be boring overall, sometimes mildly very mildly disturbing. But upon reading the comments… like the narrator doesn’t write these stories y’all. He just reads them. The dead giveaway is when you get to obvious line breaks and he will pause inappropriately in a sentence or words. Which those are funny. The stories have the common problems and tropes of weak scary stories… pov of a man, the scare is racism or toxic masculinity… pov of a woman, men are the scary (where’s the lie)… I did listen intently upon discovering it, but the stories don’t have much substance. But for sleep, perfect!

Love this podcast and the other one Odd trails. Please never stop making them they are so addictive and interesting to hear!! 10/10 keep it up

Having spent a lot of time around people with cognitive issues including dementia, I think a lot of the older individual exhibiting odd behavior is dementia and most of the time harmless. As a society, we need to be aware and compassionate. I have very mixed feelings about this podcast. I think that meant to be more discussion about dementia. I did hear one recently where it was mentioned.

This is easily the most addictive podcast and the host has a very easy voice. I stumbled upon this podcast and I am so glad I did. I may send a story or 2 of my own let’s not meet

Was always kind of annoyed by the spreading of sensational human traffic myths that don’t reflect reality on this podcast. Ended up unsubscribing today so though because of an ad read you did for online gambling. Shame on you for taking money for that toxic trash.

Finally unsubscribing for good. You’re back to the “guy blatantly threatens a female” and she doesn’t fight back because she “wants to be polite”. Women have the right to be free of harassment and DO fight back. No respect for women, obviously. Even a guy can see this. Done.

Let’s not meet is the first podcast I’ve ever listened to, been a fan for quite a few years now. Loved it so much I delved into the true crime universe to explore other shows and came across let’s read, another fantastic show with lots of great content. Can’t tell you how excited I was when they did a collab, I absolutely fan girl’d out and constantly recommend both podcasts to anyone who will listen. But rather disappointed lately at the exact copy, word for word, of the same stories. If you guys are going to do that you should do another show so your listeners aren’t skipping around for new content without twice as many ads. Love you both and thanks for what you do.

Stop referring to all of your women contributors as “females”. It is degrading and cringeworthy.

I Moved In With My Stalker was the best episode I’ve heard yet. Stayed up a lot later than I shouldve just to hear the end. 10/10

Been listening for years but I can’t continue-I will stick to Odd Trails for now. Getting tired of the blatant fear mongering around mental illness and addiction. I know this isn’t Andy’s intent- but wish stories were screened a little better to remove stories that amount to ‘mentally ill and/or addicted person does something I don’t understand ’ is there any evidence of ill intent - no- evidence that the storyteller was truly in harms way- no. I have been bothered by this for a long time- but the ‘nothing’ stories seems to be increasing, along with misinformation in legitimate stories. It’s discrimination plain and simple. The current socially accepted prejudice.

Some stories feel fake, lots of ads.

I used to enjoy this show but it’s really tanking. Not including themed or best of episodes I’ve heard some stories multiple times verbatim. The type and amount of ads are getting out of control. The stories are also just becoming “the person looked at me weird LNM”.

I’m a regular listener of let’s not meet and other podcasts with similar material. I like the narrators voice and calm cadence, but the ads have really started to be disruptive for this podcast. Its tone is really calm and quiet and then BAM, a car commercial starts suddenly in your ear after nearly every story. There’s music, there’s sound effects and it’s obnoxious. It kills the immersion and forces me to go pick up my phone to skip through. I also dont really respect that you’re advertising gambling websites or churches. The tone of this podcast is just wrong for that. I understand that ads are important to support the podcast, but maybe reading them yourself rather than plugging in a premade ad break would work better. I don’t want to move onto something else, but if things don’t change I think it’s becoming un-listenable for me.

I appreciate the stories, but if I hear the phrase “for reference” one more time, I’m going to lose it. For reference, 90% of the stories start out “for reference, I’m a 20 something petite female”. It’s weird and no one cares what size you are….you can just go into the story lol

I have been listening for years. Most of the stories are short enough to let the amateurish aspects leak into the experience, but longer stories seriously need to be cut down. There are a myriad of tangents and reiterating information for the umpteenth time that actively harms the listener immersion. It is irritating and makes me think that there is zero editorial work going on in the background. Frustrating.

Love this podcast. Stories could be edited. Listen at 1.25-1.5x speed if the monotonous narrator is giving lullaby vibes.

Love that this podcast just gets right to the story. No having to skip 7 minutes ahead to get to what we came for like so many other horror podcasts.

I really appreciate the variety of stories shared. Well done podcast I stumbled upon maybe six months ago. Still haven’t worked my way through the library of older episodes.

One of the many things I appreciated about this and podcast was that it was neutral on politics and religion. I could tune in and tune out and just enjoy the pure escapism. So I was surprised to hear ads for a church in the latest episode. Proselytism is boring and unwelcome, no matter the religion. If this continues to the next episode, I’m unsubscribing.

I love it it’s I guess it’s a hit or miss for some people but I think it’s a great listen. If you like radio rental which is the best one I’ve listen to so far.

Most recent episode I think had a fake story - unlit cabs in NYC mean the cab is taken so it’s impossible they hailed a cab with the light off. This person clearly isn’t from here.

So unique. I’m going to send in a story. 😊

In terms of narration it’s not too bad. The stories are interesting but I’d like them better if I hadn’t already heard them on “Let’s read” weeks if not months earlier. It’s one of those things you should expect with fan submitted or Reddit found stories like if you watch a lot of true crime you’re bound to see repeat cases kind of thing but otherwise generally good pod.

This is one of my favorite podcasts, it’s my go to on my daily drive to and from work !

I just discovered this Podcast and I am binging on it. It is well narrated and I can see myself in many stories. Great content!

way too many ads. it’s just greedy and disgusting the amount of ads. also maybe add a warning for giving graphic descriptions of sa.

At one point in the past, this show was better. I think that maybe the host used to actually vet the stories before he read them. Now, he reads almost anything to get sent his way, and 90% of them are clearly hogwash. He’s also got a weird habit of referring to men and women as “male” and “female.“ He seems to think that people aren’t people, but that they are specimens instead. That said, the host has a good reading voice, and about every three weeks, he presents one or two believable stories. On the whole, however, this podcast has really fallen off the last couple of years. if you listen to it, you may like it, but if you skip it, you won’t miss anything.

This podcast is great and entertaining. Compared to other crime podcasts who ramble on and on incessantly, this show is gold. Yeah they have AD’s, EVERY SHOW DOES! Some reviewers here just wanna complain and complain about the ads, Andrews voice and other stuff. But! Y’all are still tuning in! Stop complaining if you’re gonna still have ur notifs on to get the latest episode so you have something else to complain about. Be grateful

I absolutely love this podcast. The stories are definitely scary but the host’s voice and cadence, combined with the subtle score of the podcast, are super calming to me. One of my favorite podcasts to fall asleep to. I played it on a recent trip to a cabin in the wilderness as we sat around a campfire and it was the perfect spooky accompaniment!

This podcast should be called “Idiots doing really dumb stuff” or maybe just “FAFO” as it’s mostly just people getting drunk and stupidly getting into risky situations, or freaking out about nothing. It is well done and entertaining, mostly from laughing at the obvious fictional entries and clueless behavior.
