This podcast provided endless pleasure and joy. The daily small snippets of poetry while I walk inform my writing, thinking, and teaching. I happened upon this podcast while looking for poetry, and after listening to several other poetry podcasts, I keep coming back to this one. I really like the format of poem + commentary + poem again. It helps me appreciate the poetry more deeply. The guests and their choices are deftly curated. Looking forward to the next season.

IPRP feels like a deep inhale, a porch sit, a late-night conversation with a long-time loved one. It's well-produced, but beyond that, the subject matter is both fascinating and important. Plus, I'm really into the hybrid "interview / poetry reading" format. Listen.
