    Nitty Gritty
I’m a +60-year-old fart that has been following pro football since I was single digit in age delivering the Washington Star and Post. There are a lot of shows out there that cover Ravens and I enjoy some of them as well but I make sure I don’t miss a show of Ken’s. I just came back to make sure I wrote a review for his show and well I did, and you can just see it above. Came back again, and I still feel the same. Back agin and still love this show I’m back again and I still love this show I remember when I first listened to the show it did not even have a theme song yet and Ken was still working out his sign off. It’s only gotten better.

Deep technical chat that’s easy to understand
My favorite sports podcast. I love how it always goes into the details but also has great context that makes the stats easy to understand. A pleasurable lesson that makes you smile about football and particularly the Ravens.

Film study is the best ravens podcast I have found, particularly since I don’t live in the area. Ken is great on game previews and reviews. My favorite episodes on on macro Ravens issues.

    A great Ravens podcast
Ken does a great job of going into detail on how the Ravens are playing without out any of the foolishness and rabble rousing that mars many podcasts about the team. He uses analytics as a tool, but is careful to explain what the numbers mean and why they matter. Highly recommend.

    Must listen for Ravens fans
Film study is a must listen to for all ravens fans. I enjoy the postgame analysis and all the pregame podcast to get you ready for the next game. Friday morning GM has become my favorite of all the shows but I listen to every episode. Ken is amazing at breaking down the play in a way for all to understand. He brings on the best guests too. I’ve learned a lot of Xs and Os from this podcast

    Best Ravens Podcast
Ken is a tremendous analyst. He is detailed, thinks critically, and as a true longtime fan helps guide Ravens fans into a data driven view of all aspects of this team. Ken and his guests are both objective and passionate, and they have helped me appreciate this game and this team more than I ever did before.

Did the team have any other internal options to chose from? Do you think there long term players on this current defensive other than Hamilton , roqaun , Marlon . Would you try beau beade or Tj Tampa in combination with Stephens

Necessary Listening for any Ravens Fan
Easily the best, most informative Ravens football fan podcast you will get. Consistent upload schedule with a great balance of analysis, and history. For any fan of the Ravens, you’re only missing out not hearing Ken discuss the Ravens every week. Easily one of the things I look forward to the most during football season on my podcast feed.

    Best Ravens Coverage Period!
This is the best Ravens coverage out there. Detailed analysis and legit takes on every aspect of football. Love all the shows and especially the Friday morning GM and Know Your Foe shows. Can’t beat it.

If you’re looking for more in depth discussion on all things Ravens this will be your jam. Ken breaks down different aspects of Ravens football. Very informative and educational.

    Best Ravens podcast
I love these podcasts. I think the length is perfect. Great production value and better insights. These podcasts will make you a better fan.
  • PurpleWave13
    Very in depth
But seriously dude some of the guest you have need to invest in better mics. Completely ruins the whole podcast when I listen to their choppy voices for a whole hour.
  • tjsfan67
    High quantity, medium quality.
It’s a good show to keep you informed and thinking deeper about the Ravens. I’d like it more if there was some editing - lots of interruptions and needless pauses. Ken makes great points, then makes that point over and over again until it no longer is great. Sometimes it veers into Boomer talk, but it’s not as bad as I remember radio being. I don’t listen to other ravens podcasts, so I don’t know where it stands relative to the others. I think fewer, more thoughtful, and polished episodes might deliver more value. Edit: a lot of repetition continues. We know you don’t like the roller coaster. Please stop repeating this point, we get it - you’re a season ticket owner.

Ken is smart, successful, engaging, thoughtful, analytical, open minded and the discussions all reflect those qualities. The core is he’s a fan who puts his time and money on the line and it’s a must listen to any serious Ravens fan. Appreciate the work, seen and unseen! Dont miss "One last thing!" best episode every week, must be the co-host😁 Andrew K

    Diff viewpoint
This podcast has been at the top of my list every week because of Ken’s alternative viewpoints which are founded in the data rather than his gut.

    I don’t usually review podcasts
I don’t usually review podcasts but this is definitely the best Ravens pod out there, so I wanted to say something. Incredibly informative; the host, Ken, is probably the smartest analyst out there.

    Ravens focused analysis
What I like is nothing is sugar coated. It’s an honest look at the Ravens team by a Ravens fan that has an Encyclopedic knowledge of its history. It will make you a smarter fan.

    Lost a Long Time Listener
I’ve been a fan of the deep dive content Ken and his co-hosts have brought over the years since about ‘21 when I started listening. Couldn’t get enough of the granular offensive line grading that Ken’s known for, but after a gradual distaste for a lot of his takes in terms of where he sees the organization SHOULD go as opposed to where it’s heading, his constant misconception and association of all fans with the few twitter trolls he interacts with in his narrow world and the patronizing way he addresses fans therein, the subtle yet repeated and apparent cynicism towards Harbaugh especially with his assumed Harbaugh speak translation rants that have just become so off putting and naively utterly disrespectful (we’re well aware of the constraints that go along with the optics of having to be a HC in the NFL and any player that has played for Harbs will be the first to tell you the guy is upfront behind closed doors but will never jeopardize his team to the public), there are many over the years I’ve wanted to point out (he’s repeated a lot of the same tropes and takes ad nauseum) but what’s really got me off this train for good is this assumed voice of authority he takes and the bitterness and resentment apparent in how he discusses the Ravens after moves he doesn't approve of like OBJ and Derrick Henry. And to compare Derrick Henry to Gus Edwards, I’m sorry that, as they say in disillusionment in relationships, is a dealbreaker, ladies. Dude is living in an alternate reality. Also insisting that our team stay cheap on RBs because we’re fine in that dept, is not seeing the Lamar Jackson forest through the trees. So many more examples but I’m just done. Wish you the best and hope your audience grows because we need vibrant Ravens talk. But I can’t take the cynicism and patronizing, it’s overstayed its welcome with me. No hard feelings. Sincerely grateful for the many idle hours of Ravens talk you’ve provided me. But this last weeks Friday morning GM was the last straw to what’s been ever growing stuck in my crawl about the viewpoints in this show. But I’m well aware enough to recognize that says more about me. To each their own. I admire and support those that are making a living out of podcasting so I’ll bump the stars up a bit. But hoo boy this has been a load off my chest. Found myself shouting at this podcast so many times over the years. I’m a huge huge Ravens fan. And I know my assessment may come off that I’m an apologist all things Ravens, I am not. But I can identify when someone with a platform isn’t tempering their ego and cynicism to examine a wider view.

Gold Standard for In Depth Ravens Analysis
If you are a diehard Ravens fan who loves deep thoughtful dives into Ravens games, this is a MUST subscribe podcast. Regular year round content, amazing guests, and superbly intelligent host Ken.

    For all fans
Ken does an excellent job of breaking down the Ravens, the news, the games, the offensive and defensive scheme, the game plans, the matchups, and anything else about the ravens in ways all fans can understand. His knowledge and passion shine through every episode. As a listener for years and years now it’s by far the best Ravens podcast out there. Where you are young or old, a casual or die hard fan, if you just know a couple players or the entire roster, this pod is for you.

    Blessed
I could’ve been born a fan of any team in the world. But it just so happens that my team gets an hour of top-notch podcasting from Ken McKusick every day. What are the odds

Best Ravens Coverage in the Biz
Real fans know that if you want actual ANALYSIS of player performance, scheme, game plan, all that stuff, this is the show that you listen to. Ken and his guests are really well informed and break down offense, defense, and Ravens’ opponents every week. What they don’t do: make unverifiable assumptions that you hear on infotainment sports shows (“they wanted it more than the other team!”). The show is also cleanly produced, paced well, and Ken does a fine job of selecting guests that are as knowledgeable and nerdy as he is. As a Baltimore fan, we are lucky to have him. Suport this spectacular analyist

    Awesome Show!
If you want to get more in depth, or learn more about football in general, this is the perfect show. It provides such great analysis and Ken is a fun host. He is a Ravens fan but does not put on the purple shaded sunglasses when giving analysis and any criticism is fair. Great listen!

    Best Ravens Podcast out there
Consistently excellent podcast for years now. Ken is extremely knowledgeable and brings on great guests for his series of defense & offense reviews, know-your-foe, and several other additional shows each week and into the offseason. I’m loving the additional content and only hope we can get a YouTube version sometime showing some of the key plays along with the commentary.

    Best Raven Podcast & Analysis
Ken and his guests provide the best and most articulate fact based analysis of any forum I have experienced. I anxiously await his daily pod casts . Keep up the great work! I don’t know how you find the time to perform the analysis you provide. The Raven organization should consider hiring you!

Best Ravens Podcast for die hard fans
Absolutely the best and most detailed podcast for people who are more than just your average fans who want to learn more about the game and dive into some schematics. I love to hear Ken’s perspective on all things Ravens as well as his incredible guests. Been a fan for years and just now getting around to the review! Keep up the awesome work Ken!
  • JJDino52
    On the Derrick Henry talk
I’d be fine with parting 2024 4th, but I’d rather it be 2024 5th. I completely disagree with the co-host Vas attempting to compare the yardage per attempt to J.Hill, Gus and even going back to Murray etc last year. Because the Ravens backs benefit from playing with Lamar and how defenses must react to him. Henry playing alongside Lamar means he’s going to have more space to get those legs churning. Once again, on different episode Henry talk begins and we’re honestly talking about him taking snaps from Gus as if they’re equals in anyway.

    Great listen
Enjoy in depth dialogue and makes work during week a lot more bearable.
  • Baby Huey
    Shorter please
This is by far the best analytical podcast of the Ravens (maybe any NFL or other sport) that I have heard, the weekly recap episodes are just too long. I agree with commenters who say a little more polish and focus on the subject at hand would make these a lot more listenable.

    Fantastic Analytical Podcast
Filmstudy Ravens embodies an excellent analytical approach to assessing the Baltimore Ravens. Ken McKusick breaks down games, players, positional groups, coaching etc. in a statistical manner that is digestible for the average Ravens fan. The podcast is uploaded consistently on a daily basis and I cannot get enough of this content. The Filmstudy podcast offensive and defensive segments are almost therapeutic as Ken explains what happened in the game through a statistical lens and why the game may have had the outcome it did. My football knowledge has grown exponentially since I began listening. Often times I find myself uttering phrases like, ‘Talk to me Ken. What happened?’, as I eagerly wait for episodes to drop after a crushing loss, or exciting victory. 5/5 there is no other podcast that covers the Ravens like Ken McKusick on Filmstudy Ravens.

One of my favorite Podcasts. Ken is an extremely smart and knowledgeable analyst and has made me a much smarter football fan. A must listen to for any and all Ravens fans!

    Great content
I have to say I love the content of your shows… however, the 2+ hour defense and 2+ hour offense reviews are severely putting me behind in my podcast rotation. In my case less is more. I have had to cut out a lesser podcast and I’m sorry to say I have cut out the “By the numbers” episodes. Keep up the great work.
  • Worldstarisgreat
    Great Show
Love the pod. I miss the episodes being all one episode instead of being broken up into 2 parts and uploaded on two different days. Breaks up the flow of the show. With one continuous show I could always go back and rewind, now I have to go to a different show.

    Become a smarter Ravens fan
Ken always has smart, balanced commentary. He also brings on many guests so that you can expand your range of Ravens sources. Worth a consistent listen if you’re already the kind of fan that knows every guy on the 53 and want to get smarter on personnel groupings, roster construction, player skillsets, etc.

This is the absolute best podcast for Ravens football
Ken McKusick is a wealth of knowledge and articulates it to us the listeners so very eloquently. He has great in depth analysis of Baltimore Ravens football both on and off the field. He puts out such an immense amount of content for listeners so you aren’t waiting a week or two for more which is especially nice in the offseason. I listen to this podcast everyday on the drive to work since I found it and I feel like I’ve learned so much more about my favorite team because of it. I can’t recommend this podcast enough.

What’s up brother, I’ve been listening to your pod for the past few years. I’m a doctoral candidate becoming a therapist so as I’m sure you can imagine, I need that self care haha. Your pod has been a great way for me to not only stay up to date, but learn the finer points off football along with some dope stories. I appreciate you. I know you’re a former actuary and math guy, so I’m sure you like critical feedback as well, but I don’t really got too much. Stay well.
