This show used to be part of my regular routine for cyber news. Lately it’s become too heavy on political opinion. There are plenty of resources for politics if that’s what I want to hear. What I seek however is cyber news, so I’ve moved on to other sources.

This used to be a good podcast when Howard was hosting it. I’ve been listening for a few years. Jim did a good job after taking over until he started interjecting his unnecessary opinions about U.S. politics. I used to come here for cybersecurity NEWS and INFORMATION, not anti-American administration POLITICAL OPINIONS. I have unsubscribed. I’ll look for cybersecurity news elsewhere.

I was an avid listener of this podcast. I have listened to every episode for years. But that ends today. Recently, the host can’t help himself when it comes to political statements. I tried to put up with it but it’s almost a daily issue. I come to this podcast for cybersecurity news, not your political opinion.

3/14/25 Podcast Episode “Cyber Security Madness In The US” reads that Pete Hegseth halted all OFFENSIVE cyber operations against Russia.” Get that — offensive. So Hegseth is stopping USA cyberattacks on or against Russia. However, the podcast host promotes the false claims of a pro-Democrat Bluesky poster named Jacob Williams (no credentials given, so basically a nobody) who flips the truth completely backwards to claim Hegseth ordered that all cyber attempts from Russia should be ignored. Williams wrongly claims the USA is asking its people to allow Russia cyber attacks on USA. This is false! The host even read the correct words “all OFFENSIVE operations AGAINST Russia” be stopped. Not all DEFENSIVE operations be stopped. FAKE NEWS using fake sources.

Meh- so-so,very brief cyber updates but seriously keep your thinly veiled personal beliefs out of it. Had to unsub because of it. I don’t care what anyone believes but I don’t need to hear your slant on things. Facts only.

Love this podcast. It’s become part of my daily listening so that I know what I need to dig deeper into. I also appreciate the occasional guest that provides a deeper dive into relevant topics like the recent one on Ransomware policies. Great job! Keep them coming!

The brilliant mr Solomon brings hard intelligence on computer exploits and computer development….intelligence agencies only wished they had the brilliant Solomon as moderator in their vaults.

This is a must listen Pod cast that I have been following for years and I hate to miss a single day. The summary presentation is quick and the back end links and research are excellent.

As a cybersecurity major, listening to this is really cool. Crazy learning about things that aren’t regularly on the news.

Stay away from politics. Your discussion on Twitter was totally one sided. Stick to security and privacy.

This podcast is more like reading a great spy novel while it’s being written (except it’s real!) Excellent show- thank you for your work Howard. Well done

As a person who somehow stumbled upon the industry of cyber security, I find these podcasts to be informative as they exist in real time and in the simplest terms; the most convenient definitions, the listener can easily make links and better understand the purpose and ideological perspectives.

I’m English student and I like this topic because I will study cyber security in College and the accent is brilliant I learned a lot from it , I like it.

This podcast is amazing and I listen to it all the time. You learn a lot from it.
