Wannabe musician 76Still smiling!Thank you Jesus for this Podcast! Starting my 10th year homeschooling with my first 12th grader! Total of 3 high schoolers and one 7th grader. We started this journey when my oldest began 3rd grade! I give all Glory to GOD!

ellen3141A lot of banter...Not much practical information
-
Dpippen☺️☺️☺️Though Todd does keep the focus on joy and fun in homeschooling, the show takes a deep dive into so many complex challenges of homeschooling and offers ways to navigate them. It's messy sometimes, but having this community helps!

MegZartmanLove this Podcast!I look forward to listening to each and every podcast. I love the humor and encouragement Todd brings and the perspective that Ben has because of his upbringing. The Smiling Homeschooler Podcast always points me to the main thing...relationship over academics. Thank you for doing what you do! -Megan

My3KiddosMomWeekly dose of encouragementSo encouraging and helpful! Todd and Ben have changed my outlook on homeschooling and empowered me to see that I’m doing a good job and what we believe is best for our children! Everything has changed; a weight lifted and I’m excited about homeschooling again!! And whenever I have a rough day, I can listen to one of the past podcasts for a pep talk and feel rejuvenated again :) Thank you both, Todd and Ben, for all that you do! It has been life changing for me and our family and is just priceless.

QueenBeeof7Long-time homeschoolerI am a second-generation homeschooling Mom of 7. I love all of Todd’s encouragement for homeschooling moms. Even though I was homeschooled, I still occasionally find myself worrying that I am not ding “enough.” Todd comes in like a breath of fresh air and reminds me that I can trust God with my children and I just need to be faithful in His calling!

kimmmmmmerA breath of fresh air!Todd Wilson is my absolute favorite homeschool speaker. He’s one of the very few “experts” that helps me remember why I chose to homeschool and helps me relax and feel like I’m doing the best thing for my family. I get a lot of anxiety when I listen to other speakers because I usually end up feeling like I need to do more when I feel like I can’t fit in one more thing. I listen to one of Todd’s podcasts everyday regardless of how many times I’ve heard them. I look forward to his new podcasts every week. This homeschooling thing is really hard and often lonely. It’s so great to be given great advice without feeling judged or discouraged. We need more of this!

CayAndrews25Great for the whole familyFunny while still giving solid advice and discussing good topics. Both my husband and I listen to this and it definitely puts a smile on our faces! Thanks for the encouragement and showing us what we have to look forward to as we homeschool (this is our first year).
-

chillepodSuch a BlessingI have listened to every Smiling Homeschooler podcast to date, and plan to continue! What I appreciate most about it is it's realness. I have just graduated two Seniors, and have a 6 and 12 year old as well. After all these years, I still fight the urge to model my school after public school--and in many ways still do-- without even realizing that's what I'm doing. It's amazing how pervasive and persistent that tendency can be in homeschools. The Smiling Homeschooler Podcast has helped me to refocus on what is TRUE. In the short time it has existed it has helped me feel more hopeful and confident. It has reminded me what my priorities should be-- to choose to enjoy my husband and each of my children where they are (and aren't) right now above the daily busyness and tasks. Additionally, as I have listened to this, I have thought specifically of friends I have who will also be blessed by this podcast. I am grateful for the Wilson family and so many other folks that God has given the heart and wisdom to care for other homeschoolers. In all, I couldn't ask for a better community than the homeschool community. A big thank you to you!
