    6 Plus Hours
6 plus hour Era’s Marathon was awesome better than a Jerry Lewis Telethon.

Just love your insight and deep dives into all things Macca (and all 4 Beatles)
Yours is the best Macca podcast out there today. Your topics are timely, interesting, well presented and I really enjoy the chemistry between Tom and Andy. They are not afraid to give honest opinions, they both have vast knowledge of the McCartney catalogue of music, and while being massive fans of the greatest musical artist who ever lived, they are still able to be critical when called for. I look forward to every episode of this pod. The guest lineup has been on fire too. The pod sounds great, looks great, IT IS GREAT. Thanks Tom and Andy.

    Worthy!
Great way to stay on top of & celebrate all things Macca. Appreciate the work both hosts put in to create this community

    Apologies on Audio
Hello All, Thank you for taking the time to write us reviews (good and bad). We are not perfect. We also do this for free. We had a few issues last month with some audio problems (June 2024). We’ve since corrected those. We do our best to deliver real, honest and fun opinions on all things Paul. If you don’t like some of our mannerisms, what can we say - switch it off! Andy and Tom.

    Unlistenable
The sound quality of this podcast is terrible. One host’s voice is typically three times louder than the other host. It’s so loud it’s distorted, like he’s shouting into the microphone. But I can’t simply turn down the volume because that renders the other host inaudible. The content might be good, but I’ll never know because I can’t stand listening to it for more than five minutes. Sorry to be harsh, but sound levels are Podcasting 1.0, especially since so many listeners are using earbuds. UPDATE: The sound quality of this podcast is actually getting worse. When the volume of the musical elements of the “One Hand Clapping” episode is set at a listenable volume, the volume level of three hosts varies from almost inaudible (Tom) to much too quiet, to a little too quiet. It’s maddening. If it ever gets fixed — audio normalizing is a one-click, free “fix” in Audacity — I’ll listen. But regrettably I am now just going to unsubscribe.

    Ya know
Please refrain with the ya knows . I beg you I like yer show a lot. U give a real fan perspective that I can relate to even though I’m a lot older than you guys. Last complaint.. Tom has to get a better mic … his sound is consistently horrible.

    Andy’s good
Good topics occasionally, such as rare Paul interviews but ultimately a tad Chris Farley Show; praise without moving the analysis further. One host has a proper mic, one has a bad Zoom feed. Andy is well spoken, quick-witted, seems to have actually traveled a bit in the world, & has real Beatle knowledge & insight. Tom seems just a superfan who wanted a podcast & fills 20 mins with “ya know”s in a great lakes dialect. If Andy were the only one speaking, this would be a pleasant listen.

    Defending Broadstreet
I couldn’t listen to it with you having music playing at the same time you were talking. It was annoying. I would have liked because I don’t hate Broadstreet.

    Only one suggestion...
Great show, Tom and Andy are very smart and passionate. My only suggestion is to please watch how many times you say “you know.” It feels like every sentence includes three or four of them and it’s very distracting sometimes. Still love the show, keep up the great work.

    Great Serial Macca Podcast!
Tom and Andy dive deep into Paul McCartney’s solo career. The hosts are insightful and have great guests, but probably the best part is they are prolific podcasters and typically have a new episode very two weeks. If you want to stay abreast with all things Macca, this is the podcast for you.

Great show by very knowledgeable and down to earth guys!
I discovered this podcast after listening to Talk More Talk which is a solo Beatles video cast. Tom is part of the Talk More Talk crew with Kit, Ken, Ken and Joe. Here Tom and his cohort Andy discuss Paul’s career of which I am a huge fan. I love their take on Paul’s catalog. They don’t automatically love everything he does (nor should they) but they understand and value the output this great man has given us for the past 60 years. They have great guests including Chip Madinger, Julian Mendelson, Dave Maddocks, Laurence Juber among others. Very entertaining!!

Best McCartney podcast you can find
This the podcast to turn to for all things McCartney. Tom and Andy are both knowledgeable and entertaining hosts. I personally like their varied topics on Paul’s long solo career. They also have great guests on their show. I am a huge Beatles fan but I never fail to learn something new from Tom and Andy’s insights as experts on Paul’s solo career.
