The Zero to Finals Medical Revision Podcast

71

Hello and welcome to the Zero to Finals podcast. My name is Dr Thomas Watchman. I am a GP in the UK and I love creating educational material for studying medicine. This podcast is designed to be a time-efficient revision tool to help you study for your medical exams. Each podcast leads on from the next and each season tackles a different area of medicine. The podcast supplements the material available on the www.zerotofinals.com website, in the Zero to Finals books and on the Zero to Finals YouTube channel. Whilst listening to a podcast you can follow along with written information and illustrations on the Zero to Finals website or books. You can also find Zero to Finals on instagram, Facebook and twitter. If you have any comments, suggestions or want to get in touch you can email me at tom@zerotofinals.com.Enjoy the show!

Amazing! The best for on the go! Concise, accurate, comprehensive!
I have been listening to Dr Watchman’s podcast for over a year. It’s amazingly simple, concise, organized and comprehensive all at the same time! One of the best podcasts I’ve ever listened to. I got my EMT license and am now aspiring to be a doctor. I listen to this when I run in the mornings, mow the lawn or while driving. It’s been an amazing journey to learn these topics on the go! Thank you Drs Tom and Harry Watchman!!!

This podcast is what you need when driving/ transiting to work. Covering common encountered clinical topics in primary care setting, review the essential anatomy and path physiology then to treatment. Author quote on updated guideline.

    Excellent review podcasts
These podcasts are wonderfully succinct while providing a great overview of many conditions. Tom does an excellent job of touching on the pathophysiology of many disease processes while also explaining the relevant clinical findings, differentials, testing and treatment. I highly recommend this podcast!

    Perfect DNP Study Aid
This podcast has helped tremendously with studying for exams as I’m working toward my DNP. Thank you! Also I’m thrilled to see that you’ve devoted a whole season to hematology. As a stem cell transplant nurse, I feel like hematology is an often forgotten subject. Thank you!

    Best study guide ever
Dr. Watchman, thank you for your podcast! It has helped me tremendously with my studies. I am in an accelerated pathophysiology class. When I am not reading my book...I am walking my dog and listening to your podcast. I listen to the podcast in my car!! I have answered test questions correctly that you covered in your podcasts. I have a request! Will you cover mental health in the near future?? Psychiatric diagnoses? I feel this is important. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Best regards, Rebecca

Thank you from a PA student
I listen to the whole chapter at the beginning of a medicine module to get exposure, and listen again the night before an exam for a recap when I’m finished studying. Will listen again when preparing for the PANCE!

So helpful- includes the basic info plus some basic pathophysiology which helps tie it all together.

Thankful Med Student from the PNW
Straight to the facts without a lot of extra conversation around the facts. This is DENSE review for those that have already seen the material before!
