I’ve written several reviews since I found out about Matt & Vince during early COVID and still love this Podcast after 5 times re-listening. The whole show is fantastic, the guests are great, and I particularly love Matt’s parody songs. The last one for Made in America was the PERFECT selection. After all of Matt’s stories about Stephan Jenkins throughout the show and to end the series with that parody song was genius! Vince was right when he said Matt deserves much more recognition for his work. I wish both of them the best!

Listened to every Ep…thought I’d reviewed but haven’t. Look forward to it every week. Really hope these guys do another prestige show that I like after Mad Men

Ok Matt should educate himself more about the victims of Big Pharma. I knew a few people who were deformed because of Thalidomide. They were nice regular folk who were disabled by the results of bad medicine. That said, Love that you’re back with Season 2. I think you’re both terrific.

Snide little podcast where the hosts mostly criticize the show, complain about David Chase and then revere him and make ironic statements basically missing all the themes and comedic brilliance of the show, fortunately some of their more astute guests are able to right the ship so to speak and clarify some of the most obvious and glaring misinterpretations by the hosts. I mean c’mon you don’t even know what “transfer the cannolis” means? even with ALL tho$e context clue$? {eye roll and jo motion 4E}

I get my serious Matt Lieb fix from Bad Hasnara and my silly Matt Lieb fix here. Keep it up Matt, and don’t be afraid to bust out that JarJar soundboard more often.

If Vince says “lacking guile” one more time I’m gonna Lane Pryce myself.

This is the best and only Sopranos/ the wire/madmen podcast. Don’t be fooled, there are no other sopranos out there.

Needs more gabagoul

Enjoy rewatching some of the finest television paired with this excellent podcast. Vince and Matt with guests share hilarious takes along with legit insight on the themes, time periods and character building throughout each series.

The best (and only) sopranos rewatch podcast.

After work I walk 30 minutes to the train station which in the winter is not too pleasant but the Mad Men episodes have resulted in me cackling in the sidewalk. You all are so good at weaving really thoughtful insights with hilarity especially in this run of Mad Men episodes. Thank you for the laughs!

Like many others, I did a Sopranos rewatch early in the pandemic and started listening to maybe four Sopranos podcasts to gain more insight and analysis, and pass the time. This one is the best, and the only one I listened to all the way through. Matt and Vince (and the guests) are genuinely smart and insightful while keeping it light and funny. It’s the only “two straight white guys hosted” podcast I regularly listened to aside from The Minimalists, and I feel like I learned some stuff that guys talk about when women aren’t around. Edited 12/2/24- I love that you’re covering Mad Men now! Binging the first five episodes in a day.

Funny podcast (at least the Mad Men episodes so far) but why do the hosts hate bundt cake? That’s a good cake as long as you use enough butter.

These guys are total fools who don't even talk about the Sopranos anymore, but they told me to give the show five stars and a review, so I'm doing that. I'm not happy about it, but I'm a soldier. When are you going to understand that?

Can’t wait til they announce the next show series will be Battlestar Galactica ‘04. It’s the only rational next step.

I couldn’t have asked for a better podcast

Every week is an A+ review of a solid B+ episode of television. That converts to 5 star podcast. It’s the only podcast, so need to look for any others to listen to.

I listened to all of pod yourself a gun and pod yourself the wire twice during my months of chemotherapy and now I don’t have cancer. In conclusion Matt and Vince cured my cancer. Solid B+ pod.

They say no two people are alike. No two faces or sets of fingerprints. But do they know that for sure? They’d have to get everyone in one enormous space to be sure. And not just the people who are alive. It’s not possible, even with computers. They got nothing.

First responders are still dying from 9/11 related cancer and these two joke make casual jokes and have a segment called “who did 9/11?” Come to NYC and talk to some FDNY and NYPD first responders who would have tried to save your life if you were there.

Incredibly funny and full for insight. This show inspires me to be loyle to my capo. 5 stars.

These guys are so funny. I love how they break down scenes from the Sopranos and The Wire with their humor and wit. Matt Lieb is silly and entertaining while Vince Mancini plays the perfect straight man. Such a good podcast to listen to when you want to unwind.

Whether it’s The Sopranos or The Wire, I think Matt & Vince do a great job discussing each episode and picking guests who put a unique spin on each episode’s blend of jokes, critique and links to current culture/art.
