CHRIS Podcast: A Maine Crime Audio Drama

In 2010, the decomposed body of a man is found in the woods of Stacyville, ME. His only identifying factor a knit hat that says “CHRIS.” Jessica London, a PI from NYC who traumatically experienced the murder of a loved one, comes to Maine to find this John Doe’s family. Will Jessica find justice for “CHRIS” seven years later — a fate she believes no family should ever have to suffer — or will her obsession with swiping right get in the way of her investigation?

Love this show! I got sucked right into the storyline and it felt like I was there with Jessica London while she’s investigating. The Maine accents and colloquialisms are absolutely hysterical, too! Can’t wait for season 2!

Definitely gripping. I haven’t experienced podcasts in this form yet and holy crap is this intense. It’s like when I was a kid what I envisioned my mind would sound like creating storylines out of the pages. This show is amazing. CHRIS is fun to listen to, has amazing voice acting and sound design, and the story is entertaining and always keeps me mashing play on the next episode. Follow this cold murder mystery, connect with the internal struggle of the main character, and try to stay one step ahead as the mystery thickens and unfolds before you. Highly suggested, EASY 5-stars.

This show really puts you into the setting and scene. Edited so well that you forget your listening and actually think you’re in the room with the characters. Compelling narrative. Now I’m going binge listen.

Awesome audio drama about a true crime

I love this podcast, episodes are short and easy to listen too, the background music and effects are great and the narrator is very entertaining. Gripping episodes that always leave me wanting more. Can't wait to see how season 1 ends.
