    Regardless of who is interviewed, new thoughts come to the surface. Vance has the ability to ask questions that provoke thought in me, as an audience member, making the podcast more of a group conversation rather than just listening to two people have an exchange.

    As a cattle rancher and symphony tuba player in Montana, I have trouble finding time to read and keep learning. I really enjoy listening to Vance’s podcasts in the tractor. I met him when he worked fo Monsanto and spoke at the MT State Farm bureau conference in Billings. Really enjoyed eating lunch with him and chatting. Wondered why he asked me so many thoughtful questions until he got up and proceeded to give an excellent speech! Keep it Vance, I really do learn something new every time I listen and continue to hone my understanding of the world around us!

    This is one of 2 podcasts I never skip. It’s like NPR used to be; in depth look at broad range of topics with an open mind. He asks the most intriguing questions. Drama free exploration of things I didn’t even know I need to know. 🙌

    Long Time Listener, it keeps getting better!
    I have been listening to Vance’s podcast since the early days. If you want to hear perspectives outside of your own, would recommend. Vance also throws in philosophical ideas and paradoxes that you may have never heard but he brings up with guests to explore their perspective and it will have you thinking about your own long after. I have really enjoyed the variety of the guests and the depth of the questions Vance asks. The episodes are so good that sometimes they aren’t long enough :)

In no episode is this more apparent than #45 w/Jackie Joyner-Kersee. Crowe is open & honest sharing himself & his own vulnerabilities w/his guests allowing them to open up in a broader sense to the audience & the audience to feel connected to the show in a meaningful way.

    He makes it look easy and it’s not easy
    It seems, at first glance, that Vance is lucky and he found a giant pile of interesting people with stories that we would all want to hear. However, when you really listen, you come to understand that it is Vance who gets the guests to share interesting stories about their lives and share things about their work that we would not normally get to know because we wouldn’t know to ask. Stay curious, Vance. Stay insightful. Stay enthusiastic and keep doing the podcast.

    So I met Vance at a speaking engagement about a month ago and learned he had a podcast. I have since listened to all episodes and found not one but multiple words of wisdom from both him in his awesome bonus episodes but also from the extraordinary people that he interviews! The episodes are captivating and keep you coming back for more!!!

    I’m so glad Vance started this podcast. His guests are always interesting, and their stories are fantastic. Vance has a keen ability to ask the right questions while at the same time giving guests all the space they need to flesh out their ideas. It’s a great behind the scenes look at the perspectives of experts in their industries. Even if you aren’t in the business of a particular guest you will find something of value in each episode. Come for the guests, stay for bonus episodes!
