I grew up in Los Angeles in the ‘70s so it’s right up my alley. But even if I wasn’t a girl from Laurel Canyon, I’d still love this podcast. Brendan Smith is a wonderful host with an infectious enthusiasm!

Incredibly entertaining blend of witty repartee, pan-format music knowledge, engaging guests, and undefinable Gen-X passion for the random things that keep life interesting. Smith is a skilled interviewer who brings the facts, laffs, and I did-not-know-to fans of kickass music that meant so much to the last generation to come of age in the pre-internet era. Smile while getting schooled!

This is a great idea and the host is funny. Only heard one so far and already a fan. Can’t wait for all the rest. Keep em comin’!

Remember that one night when we went to see (insert favorite band) and we did (insert story). Follow Brendan and his unbelievable Rolodex of friends as they tell you all about their favorite bands from the 70s, 80s & 90s. And the stories and memories attached to the bands. I always find myself going oh yah me too.

Brendan is as funny as he is smart. This pod is an incredible intersection of pop culture and rock history with a dash irreverence thrown in for good measure. A must listen!

Why do I dig this podcast? It’s easy, Brendan loves music. His energy is infectious. His guests bring their energy and even if you don’t care about the band,(which 2x happened to me) you still enjoy the pod. You always get something fresh from the pod. I like it so much I paid into the patreon. This podcast might be an example of someone doing what they love and never working a day in their life. Download a few and enjoy.

This podcast has put me back in touch with my teenage self. Listening to the histories of bands I grew up with fantastic. Love the format and no matter how familiar the guest is with the band, the conversation is always funny and interesting. If you love music I highly recommend this podcast.

My favorite thing on earth is to talk about music concerts. So many good stories. Brandocast gets it! I love this authentic model that brings in hilarious guests to explore a particular rock band and share life-story nuggets that spring out of that discussion. I have been laughing through every one and feel like, clearly we all need to be besties.

Whether torturing millennial actresses with Deep Purple, discussing the soundtrack to someone’s proposed movie if their life, or nerding out over Peter Gabriel era Genesis with elusive Michael Penn, the Brandocast is a super fun listen. John DiMaggio (Futurama, Adventure Time) Arden Myrin (MadTV), Dave Holmes (MTV), , Ahmet Zappa… the guests are engaged, laugh out loud funny and ready for whatever musical “game” Brendan wants them to play. Worth a listen

This is my favorite podcast for music, comedy and LA! Brendan is a great talker. Perect for a podcast, but so much wasted handsomeness he should also be on TV!

Brendan has an amazing wealth of hilarious friends that I am very jealous of. Jimmy Pardo, Dave Holmes, and the latest episode with John DiMaggio were so funny that people at work got to hear me laugh like a crazy person with my headphones on.

If you like music and comedy, this is the perfect mix. Brando's encyclopedic knowledge of music combined with his celebrity guests sets the perfect stage for a convo that goes everywhere. I love how they follow the track of the selected band's career as a path through the guest's personal history. Really fun take on music.

Brendan is hilarious and the show is a lot of fun. It’s better than the Taco Zone truck outside the Echo Park Von’s, but still not quite as good as Tacos Arizas on Logan. Someday!
