Disappointed in VeoDon’t bother. The history and lit and theory discusssd in tbis podcast have a winner-take-all, loss-averse, zero-sum slant. Call it conservative; whatever you like. The contrast is stark between this podcast’s concept of masculinity to those models articulated in The Art of Manliness or The Prof G podcast. In these two, you see two hosts who inspire a type of strong masculinity that protects, defends, and is introspective enough to courageously express vulnerability with others (male friends, female partners). Exclusive, zero-sum masculinity does not a strong leader make. The concept of masculinity articulated in this podcast foments sensitive, ungrounded, insecure men. You’re more likely to get laid growing and developing as a person with the masculinity models in AOM or Scott Galloway. Those podcast hosts will turn you into a leader that partners, friends and family respect and gravitate toward, based on your grounded calm, secure self-assuredness and kindness to others.

ACABABA420BIASED.For all it's anti-biased talk, this podcast is one of the most biased right wing ones I've ever heard.

Mike543255Astoundingly narrow minded takesHis opinions go well out of their way to stretch and morph the supposed content of the books he’s reviewing to make one-dimensional points about his weird brand of conservative

Couch_potato_Lazy_FoodieChristofascism Tiki Torch ParadeIf Tucker Carlson did a history podcast, but somehow worse. Mr Haywood’s hypocrisy is astounding. He has sewn his right wing propaganda message so masterfully into his revisionist history lessons that it would make Goebbels blush.

Caleb MartelBooks, history, politics, controversy and more!Engaging book summaries, conservative political takes, controversial cultural opinions, and interesting history all in one podcast. Enjoying it so far and quickly making due for lost time.

JD_FKThe kind of knowledge we need at this timeCharles gets it. He knows what time it is, the crossroads we are approaching as a society, and offers solutions to those willing to hear them. Good for entertainment and the casual listener, but also good for the engaged listener/reader that has a thirst for more detail. For example, Charles introduced me to Burnham and thus an understanding of the true locusts of power presiding over us. He also opened the door to Carl Schmitt for me and countless other historical figures/writers of significance. Would probably pay for the episodes if I had to for access.

Anth0711Highest levelI can’t say enough good things about this podcast. The host delivers quality commentary based upon research and thoughtful analysis. Such a contrast to many of today shows which are so frustratingly politically correct. Sometimes humorous, and always interesting.

Ramrod2050Excellent Podcast, Well Worth Your Time...With so many podcasts out there it is very impaortant to select ones that do not waste your time. I currently carry a list of 12 podcasts I never miss. The Worthy House is one of them. Charles Hayword pulls no punches, actually does deeper research than Wikipedia or Google, and is an excellent writer and communicator. I read and listen to his reviews and always come away more knowlegable.

Nael SimmerhornGood example of reactionary (he has embraced the name) thoughtInteresting to listen to. Nuanced. The podcast matures over time as he denies being a “Man of Destiny” and increasingly describes what he is for and not just what he is against.

Robert FilmerWOWFor those with an interest in political philosophy, politics itself, religion and sociology, all as applied to the current moment, this is BY FAR the best podcast in existence today. His command of the books read, overall knowledge of current and historical themes, and his articulations, make listening to this podcast meteoric. Listening to this podcaster is like watching Michael Jordan play in the 90s, sometimes having a bad game (e.g., lionizing Robert Gould Shaw makes me want to wretch in my throat), but generally drilling down to what is necessary and hitting the shots required. Refreshing, particularly as compared to the mindless drivel that constitutes the vast majority of political/philosophical content out there today. FIVE STARS PLUS

EricBTrumper and COVID DenierBeware, Dude goes off on a screed at the end on how Trump won the vote (he didn’t) and how our COVID response is feminist (really, are you an expert on pandemics?). Who saw that Trojan Horse coming. Craziness.

D.P.W.Disappointing and politically skewed.I listened to the Turchin episode, and I thought it was good that he took the content seriously, but it was only to the extent that it conformed to his politics bias. He recognized turchin was not as political of a student of trends as he was, and his only reflections that fact is that he goes from what he knows about history and human nature. From what I know about human nature, this guy is up his own ass and is not worth the time of anyone honestly interested in the content he is covering.
