By far, the best surf podcast from guests to hosts.

I feel like a grom listening to the answers that all the guests have to say. I never listened to podcasts before BUT I’m absolutely hooked on the Lineup! Thx Dave for your smooth voice and epic questions that bring insight into the vast world of surfers

Dave thank you for all you interviews I love surfing and history I’ve been shaping for 30 years and have a lot of surf knowledge and I never get enough I have 350 templates a big wave world tour win at Nelscott reef 2009 and a cover shot on the now extinct Transworld surf I listen to a new one every day and repeat my favorites cause I think my friends should hear it too I’m shaping a MAVS 9’8” gun this morning so cheers mate ! I only listen to this podcast when I’ve run out of material to listen to for the week. Pretty bland, and the “I’m so sorry for who I am and also so woke acknowledgment at the end is so lame. Do you think those tribes care about your acknowledgment? Tribes and countries have been competing for land since the beginning of humanity.

I was really enjoying the podcast until Dave Prodan decided to alienate a good chunk of his viewership.

I love surfing, talking about surfing, and I’m a big fan of the WSL, however this podcast is not for me. To preface I only listened to part of one but I quickly lost interest in the podcast when the guest and host shared a moment discussing the “worse part of the pandemic “ being not able to travel to exotic places. Are they so privileged that they have no clue what the rest of the world went through? A lot of times when I’m hearing people in the pro surf industry talk I wonder if they ever worked a day their lives. This was definitely the case w this podcast. I’m sure many of people in the industry have just not most it seems. If I can’t relate I can’t subscribe.

Love this pod when it’s focused on surfing. The convo with Peter Mel was out of this world. But Dave please chill out with shoving your political views down our throats bro. This is a surfing pod, we don’t need the political commentary here. Start a separate pod if that’s what you’re into. You do a great job hosting and many people would listen, but keep this one pure and focused on surfing mate.

I usually enjoy your podcast. But now you and other platforms, seem to forget the line between entertainment and social issues. I don’t turn on you program or a WCT Event to learn about someone’s sexual preference or political view on climate change or other social preference. I don’t care what the sporting event is. Sports is sports, and a time to step away from all the clutter that people think is so important that they think their platforms gives them more importance to push their views on me, weather I agree or don’t agree. Enough is enough. So Dave, I guess you have taken a stance, therefore, I will to and not enjoy your hard work and great interviews with a sport I truly love and enjoy. I just can’t sign in and listen to this.

Calls conservatives fascists for stating their opinion while stating the importance for surfers to share their opinion. It’s not opinions you want to hear it’s opinions that agree with you. Sounds pretty fascist to me. If you didn’t have a double standard you wouldn’t have a standard at all. Share your opinion but allow opposing opinions to have the open forum as well.

Dave is excellent in his prologue of each show. His commentary melds with the current events and easily dovetails to each quest he interviews. His deep incites regarding being a sutfer extends to his guests tales of wonder about being a waverider... no matter the vehicle. So... cudos from RI ... have shared this podcast with many friends!-m

I really enjoy this podcast because it has a solid lineup of guests (no pun intended) and a great host in Dave. I feel like he doesn’t overpower the guests and each podcast really lets the personality of the guests show!

If you like surfing in any way shape or form, this is the podcast for you. Dave’s conversations are informative, interesting, and laid-back all at the same time. The weekly guests awesome. Listening to Dave talk really is like having a conversation with someone out in the lineup. Give it a listen!

Great guests, great conversations

I used to enjoy this show until the host tried to impose his political views into the show. Surfing has always been an escape and a stress reliever but not in this podcast. Keep your political views to your self. Look at the NBA, NFL, MLB tv ratings after they turned political. I won’t be listening to this podcast any longer. God bless America 🇺🇸

Great podcast

For my money, this is the best surfing podcast out there. Definitely the best audio quality, always great guests, and Dave is really great at leading the conversation and pulling out things you won’t hear elsewhere. 5 stars FOR SURE.

Another woke goon who thinks he knows everything. No one wants to take political advice from a wanna-be surf nerd. Let people formulate opinions on their own. We don’t need you telling us how to vote. You lost a listener.

You’re really going downhill. Initially loved all the podcasts but come on, recycling the Mick Fanning Gabe interview from STAB? It can’t be that hard to get some other surfer on? I’d rather nothing as opposed to recycled garbage. Overall very good but don’t slip Davey!

Deeper insight into surfing athletes than you’ll find anywhere else for sure. Must listen for surfing fans.

Dave does a fabluous job of making the WSL relevant to daily life. The inside look at these incredible atheletes and how they function within the surfing world seemlessly moves to how they are connected to the world around them.. Very enjoyable and entertaining due to the preperation of Dave and his production team.

I enjoy this show. I’ll standby the stolen headline, and the stolen comment about standing by it. It’s been a great break from the reality of the pandemic and most importantly it is an installation of weekly hope of expectations to come. Sprinkle in the new monthly addition of Peppy Pat O’Connell, and pour yourself a cup of smiles. Jokes aside, Dave has thoughtful conversations with incredible lives who are willing to share their stories. This podcast provides a great insight into the lives of pro surfers, industry players, and it is conducted in a way to help listeners better understand how the entire world of professional surfing turns.

Honestly I only started listening last month, but I love the podcast. It’s been filling the void left by lack of sports in general. The conversations have been so good thus far. I really appreciate hearing everyone’s back story and much of the inside info about the tour and its members. Dave is a great host. He’s got a great rapport with each guest and is so easy going and that makes for a nice, relaxing conversation. Once I catch up with all the episodes, I will definitely look forward to a new guest every Friday.
