KMNewtonGood PodcastHas a different format than other Missing Persons podcasts. Works very well, imo, very professional and yet allows the vulnerability of survivors to come to the surface in a very respectful manner. Good job.

Oakley Fight Club5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Always been fascinated with missing person cases, huge fan of “Unfound” community & Missing 411 Dave Paulidas . This is definitely a 5 star show, presenting facts, intimate interviews with the victims friends, family. Huge fan, trying to listen to every show. Let’s help this show grow & go, smash like, subscribe, rate/review so we get more content. It’s a must listen!! Great job, we appreciate everything you do for the missing persons community.

PBandsmokeyBlanca Roberson interviewUnfortunately it was difficult to listen to sister of missing. Seemed like the sister was busy doing something else, talking to someone else, maybe texting while person is trying to interview her. Felt sorry for the interviewer trying to do an informative podcast.
-
Munch07575Good podcastI like the stories, they are well researched and interesting. The interview portion is a little dicey IMO, some are better than others but just seems difficult to get a real dialogue going with the subject of the interviews in sine cases and seems kind of forced. Good overall though

MaggiewichitaBianca CarrascaPodcast was amazing. I really enjoyed the way the broke the information into two parts. The first being case focused. The second victim focused. It definitely allows the listener to focus on the case & then get to know the players. So that you aren’t biased when you first get into it. Well done!

emmaxminLove this podcast! Finally a podcast about Randy Leach, we still are looking for him, we will never give up!

DJW6356DecentThe first half of the podcast is good, but listening to the interview section is difficult. I understand the family members are not podcasters, but the audio quality is poor, they often are unable to express their thoughts and ideas in a coherent manner, and some answer every question with “i don’t know.” I listen to Mike on a different podcast and he does a good job so I am not placing the blame on him. A lot of missing people come from bad family circumstances and that comes out when you’re trying to have an intelligent conversation with these people. Something needs to change with the interview portion of the episode.

zsaziSooooo….already going to give up after…Listening to two episodes…the male podcaster sounds like he’s unsure of what to say….his speech is hesitant and I think he has a speech impediment…as well, use of incorrect English is hard to hear….he actually sounds like he’s totally uninterested….says hmmmm, huh, and has NO enthusiasm whatsoever. Done

Nanadx3Awesome podcastI really enjoy listening to this podcast. I listen to all of the podcast that Morf hosts or co-hosts etc. If Mike Mitford is involved I know it will have been throughly researched and very interesting and enjoyable to listen to.
-
NullityNot good.To put it plainly, this podcast is just not good at all. The male host has a problem with grammar and tends to end his sentences with prepositions. This makes me want to tear my ears off. Additionally, the conversation with the relative is raw and could be cut down as it is extremely repetitive. Unsubbed at episode 55.

ShiptWorkerAnnoying beeping musicStop using the beeping music in the first part of the females part. I kept think my my car was beeping at me. It’s annoying and grates on your nerves.
-
Az limeyNot sure why I keep listening tbhMike is not an active listener at all. Do y’all actually listen to the interviews before posting the episode? Mike consistently asks questions to victim family members that they will have just shared. He always sounds super awkward like he’s trying to think of the questions off the hip. he reiterates the most obvious points which is painful most episodes. I think I only come back because there aren’t many podcasts that come out on Saturdays because it definitely isn’t for the riveting content.

JVCrank00Pay attentionStop deadnaming trans people. If you don't what that means, look it up and educate yourself.

merica_2Mixed feeMixed feelings about this show. I enjoy podcasts about missing persons. They’re by far my favorite in the True Crime genre. The first part of this show, the part done with the woman, is done very well. The second part however is so bad. The interviewer doesn’t really ask probing questions. There is so much more that could be learned from family members/other guests if only the proper questions were asked. This has the potential to be a great show that provides vital information to listeners who truly wish to help, as well as being very interesting. I hope that Mike will continue to hone his interviewing skills, and really put forth the effort to ask the most important questions. Also, there needs to be more follow up questions. Guests will say things and very rarely is there any meaningful follow up. I found it to be extremely frustrating. Someone else should be doing the interview portion.

J22792Why do podcastsSugar coat the missing peoples lives. Chris douthat was a bad person his girlfriend was a awful mother and junkie. How old was Chris and he didn’t even have a car? Common now bad things don’t always happen to these great wonderful people some times these peoples live choices are what brings about their demise. Tired of the sugar coating of how good of people the missing are. If you were a piece of garbage before you went missing shouldn’t automatically change when you go missing. Also Chris’s mother sounds like a complete idiot who would raise a heroin junkie. Sometimes the families ruin the show with their nonsensical and illogical conclusions or believes.
-
ElizaSandersGreatMike’s empathy is clear in each interview. He does a good job of active listening and helping the loved one of the missing person open up. I would feel safe talking to him. Jess is also really good at giving a clear explanation of the situation. I would recommend. I also appreciate the lack of banter - sometimes I like it in a TC podcast but it’s refreshing to just get to the important points. Thanks for the work guys! As someone who could have been a missing person, I appreciate what you are doing!

ohmwreckedSo far wonderfulI used to listen to The Vanished Podcast by Wonderly. But I got tired of the host’s long drawn out monotone and her lack of even the most basic human emotion. Not to mention relating herself to everything but yet not seeming to fully connect ‘As a parent I can’t imagine…’ is among her favorite quotes that displays this. I can’t describe it well but one listen and I’m sure you’ll understand. Or nauseatingly assuming the listener can relate to concern aspects of the case. The people who go on there to talk about their missing loved ones tend to ramble and at times it near impossible to follow a coherent timeline. Plus you cannot hear the answers she’s asked to get the replies- she just paraphrases. Also I have noted she has given the wrong wording when translating an African American mother who went on the show about her missing daughter. It bothered me cause people with accents and speech impediments haven’t been translated but she choice to translate her. In comparison to all of that, this podcast is wonderful. I have listened to cases covered on both and have an easier time following on here. You can here the full conversation with the person and host, they don’t bring in law enforcement, they don’t ramble on for no reason, there’s no multiple hour plus long parts to juggle. The host has emotion and sympathy in his voice. His tone is warm and caring. The female host who sums it up at the beginning does a great job of timeline and gets you excited to hear the case. With my autism I find that tidbit very helpful as well. They cut off the conversation and podcast at a good well rounded note without senseless babbling. The host gives to same amount of love and care and empathy to people of all races and backgrounds which I love. And they don’t bring in doctors or anyone else to waste your time talking about things unrelated to the case file. Also, you can hear the connection with him, he relates to each individual person in an uniquely beautiful way without the need of repeating the same phrases over and over in almost every case they handle. With this podcast the time tickles by in a very pleasant, informative, interesting and entertaining way. You can connect to the victim and their loved ones, you can even learn about misinformation which if your like me and have certain cases you love to follow is very important. This podcast is a breath of fresh air and I recommend it to any true crime lovers and everyone interested in missing persons cases. Actually I would recommend it to anyone because we all need to pay more attention to the missing.

Teon77Improved but still flatCan you find speakers that don’t have lisps or speech issues ? This is listening not tv. Makes a difference.
-
pleasemister pandaMuch much improved! Great listenThis podcast has improved significantly. I always really loved it but the interviewer deserves a massive amount of credit for the remarkable shift in his skills. He really seems to know how to elicit important responses from interviewees by giving them room to fill in gaps, while also giving good prompts when they are struggling. Great job guys!!
-
AudacWhat a gem!I found this podcast when searching for more information on Veronica Reyes. I love the format. These two produce such a well executed and thoughtful podcast.
-
Meg M CookVoice over is awfulVery hard to listen to because the voice over is extremely fast and slurred together making it hard to even understand.
-
Lollygurl2Don’t botherNot worth wasting your time! Poor research

shamshimmyAWFULOh boy. Between the monotone woman and the male, idk who is worse, had to turn them off right away

BschoraAwful television-scale advertisementsLoud, hyped-up commercial ads. 2 Stars. One two-minute Introducing (Missing) episode, TWO loud obnoxious commercials. Geez.
-
cusreyLove the podcastGreat podcast. Enjoy both parts. Appreciate the help you are giving the families.
-
CeeBee16OddI feel like the idea for this podcast was slapped together haphazardly. They give you a summary of the case and then they go into a long seemingly unedited interview with the missing person’s loved one which is obviously going to be extremely biased. There’s no investigation or even attempt to get ahold of police reports about cases. They just go off news articles and what the family member says about their missing loved one. There’s a way to do this correctly, but this podcast misses the mark.

Fifty Shades of boredomMissing girls of the 80sThere was a rash of child kidnapping in the easy bay of Northern California I cant find any podcast on it Just a suggestion Look up Amber Schwartz Garcia, Michaela Garrett, Eileen Misheloff
-
lehcar12RobotI mean this show is good but I cannot stand how she sounds like a robot. She is a HORRIBLE narrater. She makes it completely boring. I’m just gonna have to unsubscribe because of this. It’s just too boring ONLY because of her horrific narrating... PLEASE pick someone else to tell the story but not her.
-
CTMW FanOkDoes Mike not read the case information prior to the family interview? Seems he asks questions that were already discussed. Or asks stupid questions. This podcast could be improved.
-
Sunshine-PistolThank you!Without a doubt one of the most important podcasts on air.
-
Danielle pandaVery slowFirst half of every episode is incredibly monotone and flat. Has potential but needs to be reorganized on how it’s presented imo.

Mylo77101Real storiesI’m really enjoying this podcast as I am a huge fan of ID channels Disappeared.

susang53Ugh drainingThe back story is great. The interviews are way too long. I am not an idiot so to ask the victims relatives “ where you sad when he disappeared?” How did you feel when they told you he was missing ?” Come on we are smart adults and expect good questions or unique ones. Not ones that make us go ..” duh of course she was sad “. Asking several questions of the victims family are better. We don’t need your interviews to drag on and on and that’s what I feel. My friends and I exchange podcasts that we like and I can’t even listen to it anymore. I listen to the back story she presents and then scroll to the next story. Give us quality not quantity.

Anne Rule rulesMike Morford and Gray Hughes hate womenThe host of this podcast’s best friend is a misogynistic Alex Jones type who claims women murder their own babies at 9 months. (Look it up on YouTube) Both of these two are men who use women victims only for a career. Mike keeps failing at this podcast game and if you don’t care about women listen and you’ll hear why. He’s not bright and can’t even mic up properly. Audio always sounds bad and he’s as interesting as dust motes in his interviews. His droning is why all of his podcasts fail.

GataBlancaTaraAdvocates for Missing People & Their FamiliesYa know. Some of these reviewers need to take a deep breath and consider the fact that these podcasters are dedicating their time and energy to bring awareness to really tragic unsolved cases. They are professional and respectful to the families and even donate $$$ from their Patreon to missing persons advocacy groups. Great work, Mike & Jessica. And thank you. Tara
-
elaine1093Well Researched and PresentedAs always, you can count on Mike Morford to present a podcast that’s compelling and purposeful. He brings cases to light that might not otherwise get the exposure they need.
-
CmaalSmall detailI really wanted to like this podcast but I could not get past the music playing in the background having this high pitch pulsating noise. It physically hurts my ears.
-
Whatever673Off to a good startI like the concept..first the facts, then family interviews. But you have GOT to tighten up the questions to the family. Comes across as unplanned and disorganized, although your compassion is evident. It's a better service to the family to be clear and confident about what you're asking. Tighten the editing of family questions as well. There is too much dead air. You're clearly passionate about getting the word out; make the quality live up to your passion, & you'll succeed.
-
S-Nick40Excellent way to get stories outI think the concept of this podcast is excellent however the narrators are mono toned and its hard to sense or feel theres any feelings or emotional connection between the narrators & the case or the family member of the missing person. Hopefully the further they get into doing this the better they get!
-
tvreekenAmazing storiesAmazing stories along with great interviews.
-
PersonwithopinionI don’t like being read toTELL the story and converse. Reading off a screen or paper is boring. And these are stories that need to be heard. You have a good platform. Just please, stop reading like you are reading me the back of a cereal box.

SnowpennyGood podcastWell done. Missing people are so sad. I can’t imagine the heartache their relatives and friends must feel. Wondering where they are and what happened.... This podcast is very caring.
