Y - NEA Podcast that ResonatesTony Jones claims he’s no longer a pastor. He long aspired to be a pastor, trained as one, served as one in his childhood church, but life threw some curve balls his way which ultimately ended that dream. Recalibrating, Tony found himself drawn by hunting, which reconnected him to the outdoors and, in a larger sense, his spirituality. This podcast explores that recalibration. I am not a hunter (at least not yet), but I am an outdoors enthusiast, admirer of wildlife, and a common sense Christian. This podcast resonates with me. Tony Jones may claim he’s no longer a pastor, but I’m inclined to disagree. He may no longer minister in an individual church, but, by sharing his outdoors inspired spiritual growth, he has become a pastor to us all.

JessicarewApproachable AND intellectually energizingThis is a fantastic podcast for anyone who has familiarity with hunting, or is just getting into it. Tony’s approach comes from his unique identity and background as a church Pastor. He is always super engaging with the guests and provides lots of springboards to other fascinating topics.

He takes on topics one is unlikely to encounter in the “how-tos” and pissing contests of most hunting podcasts, making for a unique and refreshing listen for those of us who think as hard as we hunt.

durhamlifeExactly What I Needed!I was so excited to learn about this podcast. Hunting, the outdoors, and spirituality has already been central to my life and it is so refreshing to hear someone who is tying it all together. This is not just another hunting podcast nor is it just a podcast about faith. Tony seems to have chosen guests who really help us broaden our views of spirituality and give us a deeper understanding of how the outdoors and hunting connect us to the divine. I could go on and on for how thankful to have found this. Feel like I found my people.
