I learned a lot of very valuable lessons from this podcast. I enjoyed the format and was easily able to listen to it on my commute.

I tend to focus on real estate as my investment vehicle, but I like to learn other ways of investing as well. I like the variety here.

I’m always on the lookout for material related to FIRE and the thing I like about this podcast is that there is a wide variety of guests and that FI is discussed from many angles rather than a one size fits all approach!

This podcaster is relatively new and it shows. If you’re looking for professional polish, this isn’t it. He’s scored some good guests but misses the bar with rambling questions and unnecessary commentary. Hoping it gets better over time.

I appreciate the different perspectives that Chris has on his show. Many like to put the FIRE community into 1 bucket, but in reality there are so many unique approaches and stories. There’s always something to learn! Really enjoy this podcast!

For most part, the show is actually ok. It’s like Choose FI in the early days - very basic. But with that, there is tremendous misinformation. When he sticks to interviews, it’s pretty solid. But when he delves off, the inexperience is very clear. For example, in his latest podcast, he goes off on RobinHood for shutting down. He falsely claims that none of the other platforms this (Schwab TD Ameritrade and Webull also shut down). A little bit of research would have shown him that regulators had to put a hold on trading because of the volume needed to settle - like all the other platforms. I’m unsure he also knows that there was a RobinHood trader who committed suicide and RobinHood came under fire for not putting guardrails in place. I’m not a RobinHood fan either - their multiple app outages and their lack of recognition of the danger of their platform and buying on margin when that young man committed suicide made me a so called RobinHood hater. But if you are going to be one, it has to be based on fact, and not random opinion and conjecture. Unfortunately, his words have power, and I’m unsure he recognizes the extent of this, in which case I hope he learns from this and grows. But if he does recognize his power and did this anyway - what he did was gross negligence, and did a great disservice to his listeners.

I’m new to the FIRE community and have been listening around for any podcasts where I can learn the basics. When I came across Inspire to Fire, it was so easy to listen and follow, there’s no rambling and tangents. The questions are straightforward and applicable. And I LOVE all the guests! I can relate to all of them (a lot of YES!/agreeable moments) which is great for me to apply to myself as a beginner. I will be a regular listener :P

Chris immediately stands out from the crowd because he does his homework. He researches his guests to pull the best out of them instead of relying on the same old tired questions. Highly recommended!

I am really loving Chris’s podcast on FIRE and all things finances. The interviewees he has hosted on the show are incredible folks in the debt free and FIRE community. I really look forward to new episodes!

I’ve stumbled across quite a lot of garbage as I searched for the right podcast to get me started on this FI journey, but after listening to the first episode, I immediately subscribed to this one; I’m confident I finally found the right source. Highly recommend!

Chris has put together such great FIRE info with this podcast and unlike some of the other major FIRE podcasts, he’s not just recycling guests. It’s refreshing to hear from normal people, not just FIRE celebrities. I can’t wait for more episodes!

Chris provides such a great intro and understanding of FIRE and how you can get your life on track to achieve your personal and financial goals. As a rising college freshman I am now more conscious about all financial decisions I need to make to reach a point in my life where I can focus more on what I like to do. I enjoy every episode and look forward to stories that are real and applicable to my life. Amazing show and his website compliments all that you learn. Thanks Chris for sharing with everyone!

I can’t recommend this podcast enough for anyone looking to reach financial independence or improve their financial situation! Chris makes finance fun. While most podcasts in this space can be boring at times this podcast keeps me interested the whole way through 5/5.

The host is able to take important and nuanced FIRE concepts and break them down and share relatable perspectives so that anyone can understand and follow along. Highly recommended!

This podcast will make you look at your own financial health and how you can improve it. You’ll learn things that you definitely don’t get taught at any school. It’s definitely made me look at my own expenses and how to manage my own money. It’s empowering to know that you’re in control of your own financial destiny. It’s just up to us to take the first step!

This podcast gets an A+ for listenability! The host has a great voice and the guest interviews sound like a conversation between friends at a coffee shop. I’m not even on step zero on my journey to fi/re, but these informative conversations make me think that a fi/re goal is possible even for me!

This podcast is very motivating when plowing towards debt and making goals towards financial independence! Very relatable & humbling especially since I work in the healthcare as well. Definitely recommend!
