I have really been enjoying this podcast! The long format and in-depth interviews are a breath of fresh air. All the information on book reviews and what other people in the garment world are doing have been great. As a home sewer and creator I find myself sometimes in a bit of a vacuum and this podcast really helps broaden my view and knowledge. Thank you!! Keep up the great work.

Nick gets interviews with some great people in both menswear and the fashion industry in general. Most interviews, but not all, also touch on the ecological impact of the fashion industry. It’s a great extension of his Well Dressed Dad website.

If you are tired of the same old fashions being doled out by the fast fashion industry and would like to hear from makers of sustainable wear than this is the podcast for you. The host is well versed in fashionable, sustainable wear and delves not only into fashion with his guests but also the social and economic impact that face smaller producers of sustainable clothing. Quite entertaining.

As a new apparel designer, I find every episode of Garmology to be very informative and helpful. I learn a lot from Nick and the guests and their experiences. In particular, I enjoy that the episodes are more of a casual conversation than a typical interview.

Nick is a thought leader. He has curated a very interesting array of makers, players and contributors that shape the conversation around menswear. He touches on everything from well being to globalization, and their implications on what we wear. Truly interesting and enjoyable interviews that delve well below the surface. Thank-you for articulating through your guests, the essence of style.

I’ve been following Well Dressed Dad for a while on Twitter and Instagram, but Garmology is a revelation. For example, Harris Tweed - there is no analogy in textiles. You’d have to go to Champagne to see such protection and care of a craft and a region. So many gems like this in each episode!

I follow Well Dressed Dad on Instagram so I figured I would give the podcast a listen. So far I’ve really enjoy the discussions. I know little about fashion but I like learning new things and I like how Nick focuses on sustainability and buying well made items that can be worn for a lifetime. I hate the idea of fast fashion and how it much waste and all the other personal and environmental degradation it causes. If you’re interested in learning about sustainable men’s fashion or just new to it in general, I highly recommend you give this podcast a listen.
