5 stars for Alice and Tom!

How can I really like them, but not the show as much? When Tom and Alice are on they are on. However after a couple of years of listening it can sound more like this show is a hobby rather than a professional produced show. Checking equipment in the middle of the show, hitting clips that don't appear to be there-Tom on occasion obviously not even aware of what Alice is saying. She can make a three minute point on a subject and Tom comes in with a totally non related question or statement. A chat Line that can on occasion take about 25-30 percent of the show. With a lot of other options ( many local) this has gone from a must listen to I'll listen if there is time. The sad part is I can think of no one that makes me laugh out loud like Tom-he is the best around on that. There other show has been MIA for what seems like forever.

Alice talks over Tom and has the most annoying laugh in America. If she didn’t have great cleavage then she’d be useless. And Steve from Gloucester and Steve from Merrimack stink to high heaven.

If you’ve thought about getting into Tom Shattuck's Burn Barrel podcast but haven’t taken the plunge yet, Commander Gummy Worm is a great episode to start with. More than almost any of the other episodes, this one demonstrates just how much Tom and Alice are us, and we are Tom and Alice. Two regular peeps trying to get through the challenges of their day while analyzing the challenges of our time, all while injecting massive amounts of humor into every episode. I love that I get news here that I don’t get anywhere else (and believe me, I am what the great Jay Severin would have called an “infomaniac” - I listen to a LOT of non-MSM stuff) plus a good amount of pop culture updates, and - as foolish as it feels - I literally laugh out loud while listening even when I’m all by myself. 😂 I love this podcast!

I have listened since the beginning, and the appearances with Callahan introduced me to burn barrel. I try to listen during the day but lately have been listening after going to bed. I am usually sleeping before the end and have to relisten. I am having a lot of dreams about Alice too

Tom and Alice Call out the woke mob with simple common sense and logic. These are two really smart people that help expose the ridiculousness of the left, while factually explaining current events that get overlooked Must be fun at their dinner table!

Usually the podcast is an enjoyable part of my day. The podcast gets dragged down by Tom chewing/deep breathing into the mic, and interrupting Alice for a joke that doesn’t land, ever. Don’t worry, if this doesn’t work out for you, the phrase “Welcome to Walmart” is easy to say.

Rational, real, family style takes on politics and current events.

Stumbled onto this podcast and have been hooked ever since. Only podcast I listen to daily anymore. Great mix of humor and politics. Only complaint is that Tom needs to stop interrupting Alice so much :) P.S. Also I love the family interruptions so Tom is wrong about that too.

Tom and his Wife Alice have created a great show filled with informative points on politics and day to day happenings in our country and Massachusetts and Connecticut. They also have a little bit of good humor with their own going’s on with their children and especially the chickens!! I look forward to their show everyday and just a real joy to listen to .

I listen to this podcast regularly. It is informative yet comical when appropriate. They do a great job and I always look forward to uploading their latest episodes.

I went to Gerry Callahan to get more Turtleboy. While I was there, I found Tom. I find your calm demeanor easy to listen to and entertaining. We now mow the lawn together! Thanks for keeping the content interesting! I wrote this review early in Burn Barrel history. The show has only improved. I love Alice’s input and the dynamics between the two of you. Keep up the great work!

The smartest, funniest cautionary tale (kids!) in podcasting. The chemistry is undeniable: Alice is Nova to Tom’s Wildstar, and together they may just be the Cosmo DNA that’s needed to heal the planet.
