I really like this show. It goes into a very deep dive. It also gives a unique look at the week. Just wish there was a second one just like this later in the week after injuries are known. Overall a fantastic show to start your dfs thought process.

I’ve been a member of FanDuel since 2014 and have only won over $100 once. I came across stockastic last year 2022, and started watching their YouTube videos but I didn’t sign up to stokastic at that time. Just last week I decided to dive in and sign up for their tools, and followed it up by getting the free month of the sims tool through the owners box promo and instantly see the value. They really have a lot of characters that work at stokastic. First and foremost we have Al from tool time Neil the Flannel god. Next we have Big and Rob Loughy and AB that if you don’t like kickers in show down you will when they are done. Then we have Doogie Howser Greg that loves to torment Eric that somehow tricked a woman to marry him. Though we all know Eric. I mean lindys locks how gay can you get. We have Dr evils son that’s taking a month off because he shiped his money finally. The npc Josh who does the glizzy thing a bit to well. Last but not least we have Emac that as a kid saw Moses part the Red Sea. Said he use to ride dinosaurs up a hill to and from school everyday when he was a kid. You even have a Chicago bull guard on the team of stokastic.

So I guess I should start at the beginning. Three years ago I started playing NFL dfs. I was pretty good in my home fantasy league and thought I could jump into dfs and do pretty well. Boy, was I wrong. That first year of playing I didn’t not do well at all. I was what some consider a toilet drafter. Drafting lineups on the can and not thinking about anything other than who looked decent at their price. I would either break about even or lose. Fast forward to the next football season. I find a podcast called Awesemo NFL DFS. I work a job that allows me to listen to podcasts all day so it was very convenient for me so I figured Id give it a try. I couldn’t do any worse than the season before. Enter Stokastic analysis and dfs theory. I start listening and they start opening my eyes to not just great plays but great ways to think about dfs. How things that I had never really considered before like ownership and leverage were just as important as price and player matchup. I definitely seen an uptick in my winnings that season. Since, I had done so well in NFL, I began to play NBA because Stokastic also covered that. Fast forward to last season. The first season that I actually went into the dfs season with confidence that I could actually make some money. I was starting to understand more of the overall dfs theory and understanding why you do certain things such as stacking and bring backs. I just felt like I had a true grip on how to play well. That confidence came from listening to Stokastic podcasts on the daily. Any show I could listen to I would. These guys were not just opening my eyes to dfs, they were also entertaining. I had my best season ever last year. I actually took first place in a few tournaments. I can say with all honesty, that does not happen without the guys at Stokastic. I truly am so appreciative of all the hard work the guys do. I then carried that momentum into the NBA season continuing to listen to anything Stokastic put out. Had a very good NBA season. Which then led me to play MLB and Nascar this year. Won tournaments in both sports my first season because of the projections at Stokastic. All the guys at Stokastic are great dudes!! All seem like guys you could go get a beer with and talk sports. No, I haven’t been able to quit my job and live on a island somewhere (yet) because of Stokastic but I can truly say that this group of guys has taken me from a below amateur status dfs player to a confident player who has a real grasp on dfs. They don’t just tell you who, they tell you why. Do not expect to win a millionaire maker the first day you listen to the show but I promise if you consistently listen to the show you will become a better dfs player. Period. If that’s not enough of an endorsement, understand that a father of two, who is running all around to practices, school events, working, etc took the time to write this long review. It’s because I owe these guys some much and it’s the least I could do. Now atone for your sins and hit that like button! P.s. Apologize for any grammatical errors. Elite content from a group of personalities who have no right to be as sharp as they really are. Every host is somehow a different percentage blend of one of the Step Brothers and Rain Man. Genuinely very insightful and very engaging content consistently… but also you have to kinda wonder if one day any one of them will disappear because they tried to wrestle a giraffe to the ground with their bare hands, melted their esophagus with a mail order ghost chili, or turned into a South Park character

Stokastic has been a part of my life for a while now and I have loved every minute of it. From starting my day with eggs with absolutely no ketchup, to watching Josh and Loughy appear half dead on YouTube while eating a chip, and lastly watching Eric literally blow up when doing a Live Before Lock show and finding out that Paul George isn’t playing and it is too late to change his lineup. Somewhere amongst all that silliness you still get the most comprehensive information needed to make roster decisions in a great number of fantasy sports. The team at Stokastic is very accessible through social media so if you need additional help they will answer your questions. I will continue to use their service and I even got put in the Hall of Fame.

I’d like to write this knowing y’all are reading the reviews. It’s officially childhood cancer awareness month and I wanted to say thanks to you guys. In 2021 just before the season kicked off my oldest daughter (12at the time) was diagnosed with AML, a serious form of leukemia. Month long stays at the hospital for treatments. My wife and I would take turns spending time with her and taking care of things at home. I’ve been an avid DK player for years and I just wanted to say that your content helped provide a very needed distraction from everything that was going on. You guys and the fantasy community as a whole helped me through the hardest time in my families life. She’s in remission now, her and her twin are high school freshman and are about to get their learners permit. I just wanted to say thank you.

Genuinely happy that the Pod is being revived. I don’t have YouTube premium so the stream gets interrupted whenever I leave my phone around. Listening to this show over the years has helped me to understand the basic but indispensable concepts needed to consistently do well in DFS. Loughy is hilarious and one of the best hosts out there at keeping the show engaging and the other contributors like Matt, Ben, and of course, the great Awesemo himself make this show well rounded and intelligent. The site and tools are insanely helpful and they almost always have promos to try it out but even just listening to this podcast will help you understand the fundamentals needed to do well in DFS!

In all seriousness this group of guys has completely changed how I play dfs and made me a significantly better player. They’re filled with information, strategies, and are also pretty hilarious with their delivery. Love the channel and community, if you play dfs this is definitely the place to be.

I use to have so much free time I would paint and write music. Then I started listing to all the Stokastic DFS podcasts. Now I’m like an addict waiting for my next podcast fix. I have no real friends left. But now I’m rich from winning so much DFS so I just buy friends. Life is good. Only listen if you want to be rich.

Good advice but the entertainment is what really matters. Because nobody REALLY knows what’s going to happen on Sundays. Maybe Goodell, but that’s for a future 30/30.

I have a lot of respect for Awesemo. They seem to strike a good balance between football knowledge and game theory/ statistics. Just by listening to them, one can get a solid base for playing DFS at a high level, to the extent that is possible in a game of chance with a high rake.

I purchased a subscription on the website but apparently made a mistake (I still believe I did not make a mistake and the system changed what I was purchasing as an attempt to up sell me). The customer service rep basically told me I was an idiot and that a monkey could have selected the right thing. Any company that tolerated disrespect from their employees to customers is a sketchy one. Plus the guys on the podcast are trying to bait you into picking players who aren’t the best option. Do your own research.
