I absolutely love this podcast it is amazing in my opinion, and as a beginner witch I think it is a great source for knowledge about magick, science and all things in between! I also love how much of a queer safe space it is, since I mysrlf am nonbinary an omnisexual! So it is just an amazing podcast and I highly recommend it for all people interested in magick!

Been in search of a peaceful but informative podcast since my usual is on hiatus. Listened to a few and things just didn’t feel right came across these beautiful ladies and felt welcomed right aware. Love they share information and explain so things make sense. Please keep up the amazing work and would love to look into a class soon. I cannot recommend Bonfire Babble highly enough. As a newcomer to witchcraft and paganism, this podcast has been both an incredible resource and a joy to listen to. Every time a new episode drops, it’s one of the highlights of my week. When you set out to increase your knowledge on any given topic, it’s so easy to feel overwhelmed when you delve into what seems like endless sources, conflicting information, gate keepers, and everyone who seems to have a singular right way to approach every single little thing. It’s easy to feel like you’ll never know enough or find a way to belong. But listening to Corey and Detta, all of those anxieties are quickly laid to rest. They have created a space that feels comfortable and accepting, informative and thought-provoking, with due-respect given to any serious topics while still being interspersed with laughter and genuine love for the subjects in question. And while they could simply share their wealth of personal knowledge with listeners, they both make sure to go the extra mile and not only answer any questions they’re sent, but also do a ton of research AND provide their sources for information in every single episode. Coming from a research background, finding a good information source with sited source materials is such a GIFT, it defies value. This podcast and its lovely creators provide an incredible range of information from different cultures and histories across the world. They’re never afraid to say “I don’t know”, and they always do what they can to learn and share when they do. If you’re new to witchcraft or a seasoned witch, there’s always something for you by the bonfire with Corey and Detta. Thank you both for all the heart and hard work you pour into every single episode.

As a baby witch (or Strega, depending on how Italian I feel at the moment), I’ve been exploring witchy podcasts to learn more about this spiritual journey I am embarking on. Corey and Detta are both wonderfully knowledgeable and have great chemistry. Genuinely, my favorite thing is how they CHERISH each other and that shines through so strongly in their interactions and heightens everything.

I love, love, love this show. They’re so chill and kind. I feel like I’m chatting with by best friends. I feel like we’re all just talking but somehow I end up knowing more than I did before.

I’ve been trying out different witchy podcasts and I discovered Corey and Detta a while back and have been listening to one episode a night. They’re fun and informative and after 60 episodes I feel like I know them and look forward to my nightly time with them. Im almost sad that soon I’ll be caught up and will have to wait a week between podcasts.

I’m a fiction writer with characters who discover their inner magic and I started listening to research different aspects of witchcraft. Corey and Detta are lively and witty and their topics are both fascinating and well-researched. I found Bonfire Babble via a search on Spotify looking for magical lore around Yule time 2021 and I have been hooked ever since. I am listening both from the beginning of the podcast (almost caught up actually!!) and all the current episodes as they come out. I am a life time “wise woman” healer… working only with what’s been passed down from my Mom, my own intuition and my professional bodywork trainings in reiki, massage and polarity therapy. I recently felt really called to find more structure for what I do and learning and leaning into witchcraft wholeheartedly. Corey and Detta have been the most amazing, fun, funny, insightful, RESOURCES. (Though my “must read” book list is overwhelming 😂) all the information they present is so comprehensive and digestible. I just ADORE them. I feel like I have so much to learn and Corey and Detta make me feel like that’s possible! I’ve also learned about so many awesome organizations, products etc from their sparks and interviews. I couldn’t recommend this podcast more for the beginner witch like me. While Corey and Detta deep dive into witch topics galore, they also touch on so much about religions, cultures, books, current events, ethical practices (witchy and just plain human topics) and so much more. This was the podcast for the beginner witch in me that I needed to start my journey. Now that I’ve been listening to them for over a year, it’s become a companion guide for me more than ever. I’ve grown to feel like Detta and Corey are my far off friends, and I feel so much less alone on figuring out who I am and where I am meant to be. I can’t count how many times I’ve found something I love because of one of their sparks or recommendations. I also can’t count how many times I’ve had a-ha moments.

I can’t listen to these two wonderful women without all the stress in my body just vanishing. I love their voices, I love their lessons, and I love how much you can hear their connection to each other.

Honestly this podcast is 100% making quarantine feel a little less lonely. I have gotten back into my yoga practice cause of Corey talking about her own practice. I started delving deeper into my own magical and spiritual practice cause they just so easily talk about things like a conversation rather than a class that makes me so excited to do more and be more.
