From the outside, the world of piping gets confused with historical reenactment, gimmicky fusion music, and catty, competition politics. But by listening to this podcast, you see that there is so much more to the world of piping and so much more to those who participate in this largely undiscovered world. Take a relaxing listen and discover how much you’ve been missing.

I really like to hear bagpipe podcasts. Unfortunately I’ve listened to 10 or so podcasts of Droning on and every single episode there’s a huge difference in volume between the host and the guest. I’ll give the show a few more tries and if the audio issue isn’t resolved, I’ll listen to other podcasts. The thing is….. it’s not the material he discusses, that’s actually really good…it’s the fact that I have to play with my volume throughout the show so I can hear what’s being said. And before anyone asks, it’s not my phone app or speakers, it happens on every thing I use to listen …. Whether I be listening in my car on my car audio, my headphones….or even a Bluetooth speaker. It’s too bad the show is borderlined ruined because of the hosts audio. Maybe a quick fix might be to have the host move his mouth closer to the mic????
