jupiter_avenuegoated podcast 🫡hi stef and chris! i love you guys so much, this show is peak comfort content for me! i'm a big walker, so podcasts are a MUST. as a black queer girl growing up in a red state, i didn't have a lot of star wars media that i felt good engaging in, but my brother sent me the podcast about two years ago on my eighteenth birthday and i've been hooked ever since. i've been showing my dorm-mate star wars for the first time (i'm appalled she's never seen it before) and i wanted to know what yalls favorite star war to show other people is? i had to leave the dorm when she watched revenge of the sith because i love the movie too much, but i thoroughly enjoyed showing her the tartakovsky clone wars!! all love, thank you guys for creating such a safe space (for adults, that is)

the baron of schoolHi Chris and StephI have been listening for years on and off and am enjoying the show. I also thank you for making my view on Star Wars getting less critical for example I was part of the hate crowd for acolyte I am now enjoying it and defending it for the most part still hate we didn’t get a wookie Jedi fight that isn’t mind controlled but that’s just my gripe. Still thanks for helping me get out of the phantom menace it still tempts and call me but I will do my best not to fall back into the darkness.”

MogiwanSimply the BestA more meaningful and unique analysis of SW you will not find. Their intellectual and humorous insight sets them apart from the scrum and common masses of SW content creators. Same for their Trek talks.

To many add but great anime! One of the Best Star Wars Media I've SeenI'm a 20 year old transmasc who has been a fan of Star Wars since I can remember. One of the first two movies I can remember watching is ROTS. Needless to say, growing up a part of the fandom was tricky. Nearly everyone on Youtube, Instagram, etc. was a hateful bigot that was slowly driving me out of the fandom aspect of Star Wars. However, one day I was at my college's library and desperately wanted to watch Star Wars but was unable to. So I searched Star Wars on spotify and found your podcast. I clicked on the first episode expecting to be met with the hateful comments that so often comes with Star Wars but was met with two people I can say have absolutely made me a better person. I was so excited to learn that not everyone in the fandom was awful and that it's okay to actually like the shows even when its getting lambasted online. Thank you Chris and Stef, I appreciate you for turning me into my best self.

wheyheyalexAlmost 4 Years LaterSorry in advance if this gets long. I started listening to y’all when I was helping my parents move into their house almost 4 years ago and instantly felt like I’d found my people. I cant express how much I love listening to your opinions and your rambles. This podcast is full of fun, critical thinking with a side of empathy, a bit of chaos, and the most hilarious hor knee ness I’ve ever heard in a podcast. I’ve listened to y’all on roadtrips, at work, while cooking, just existing, and through my toughest moments. Your voices helped calm me down when I was incredibly anxious. Specifically when I went to meet a harmful ex of mine, I listened to one of your episodes on the drive there because I knew it would relieve my anxiety a little. It’s like listening to my bad ahh big sister and her best friend (sorry Chris but I already have a gay brother who works in tech). From one Taurus to another, Stef has encouraged me to be more confident in myself. It’s always difficult being a 26-year-old woman in nerd spaces but listening to Stef reminds me that I belong here too, and my opinions matter just as much. And she introduced me to Stray Kids which I’m forever grateful for. Stef and Chris are a bright light in this fandom that can sometimes be overshadowed by the fandom menace. I feel like I’m rambling now, but I love this podcast and the hosts so much, they’ve truly enriched my life and I will always look forward to Mondays because of them. I guess you could say, now I “Do” Like Mondays

cwebber.fI listen on Spotify but I came here to write thisI have been a massive fan of this show for years now. I even got to briefly say hi to Chris in Oga’s cantina in Disney Land back in June. I told him I love the show then and I’m saying it now for everyone else to hear. If you are looking for a much needed positive light in the never ending darkness that is the star wars fandom, welcome home.

Joshua (Jlau) LaumannAlways a good laughBeen listening to this podcast, Marvelous Divas, and now Holodeck Divas for a little over 2 years now. Every time im busy and stressed out at work, I put this on, and I chuckle along. (Obviously with earbuds in, they are MANDATORY!) Keep up the great content, and never forget, the needs of the Many, outweigh the needs of the few.
-
BookNerd55A highlight of my weekI’ve been listening to this show for literal years at this point, and it’s an absolute blast. The show is very funny, touches on issues whole still keeping a very positive tone, and just generally is amazingly fun to listen to. I always get excited when I know a new episode is coming out soon. So much fun!
-
Alastor SkywalkerAmazing PodcastStill enjoying the podcast. I just have one question. How do you still do this? When every new Star Wars movie and show that comes out becomes this endless feed of negativity from the fandom, and all the positive stuff only comes out as a response to that hatred, I’m starting to wonder if I should even bother with the franchise anymore. I want to enjoy Star Wars, I really do, but I don’t want to enjoy it alone. If the community is just this cesspool of bigotry an infighting then I am legitimately considering just leaving the ship with what little sanity I have left. I’ve been kind of taking a break from Star Wars and even your podcast lately to dwell on this. I guess my real question is why should I be consuming Star Wars anymore?
-
TheRangersGearshopAn absolute gemI just finished binge listening to this podcast from start to finish, and the only thing that could have made it any more enjoyable would be getting to see Captain Rex react live to Stef and Chris talking about him! This show is a perfect tapestry of commentary, insight, and humor, expertly woven by two genuinely hilarious people. My one true regret is that I didn’t find this last year when I finally watched through The Clone Wars for the first time, though this did precipitate another watch through to follow along! If you, like me, are a recovering member of the Fandom Menace, give this show a listen, you won’t be sorry!
-
ScottyLXAmazing podcast.I can’t express how much I enjoy your show! I have a 30+ mile commute to my job (at a place in Aneheim Chris may have heard of before) and listing to the Divas makes LA traffic bearable. From thirsting over the clones, to ranting about the fandom menace you both are so funny and insightful with your take on the galaxy far far away. Unfortunately I’ve finally caught up and have to wait for new episodes to come out once a week now, but on the bright side Star Trek is coming soon and that’s the best news I’ve heard all month. 🖖🏻 - Scotty.

choosing-joy.y.gBest Dark Side Aunties!Popped over here from Spotify to leave a proper review! Just recently binged thru the entirety of this pod and the MCU Marvelous Divas pod faster than what would be considered healthy. As someone in their mid-twenties, for who existential crises are the new norm, Steph and Chris are a breath of fresh air. The perspective they bring in terms of their thoughts and opinions are as compelling as they are hilariously ✨E for Explicit, not for Everyone 💅💁♀️✨ And at the end of the day, they may be the only Dark Side Aunties, but they are the best ones anyone can ask for.

lawstudent7894Ok, so listenI have never reviewed a podcast before. In fact I had to redownload the app to do it. I wanted to do something half as fun and witty as the show itself, but my appreciation for Divas is too genuine for that. During the Lockdown I fell down a well of negative YouTube content hating on Star Wars, my favorite franchise, and I listened because it was at least people talking passionately about the thing I was passionate about. Chris and Steph and this show have been what I needed to deprogram. Not only have they reignited my love for Star Wars and made me cackle in wicked delight, they have help shake me from my complacency in a lot of issues. I have a lot further to go to get my way of speaking and approaching issues to come as automatically as they do, but I am beyond grateful to both hosts for giving me the best way to love and grow as a person. Mtfbwy.

CeraVanaA wicked fun Star Wars podLove love love this podcast. Started listening during the strike and really enjoyed the LotJ episodes. I forgot that I read the book so this also saved me a re-read : D Now I’m listening to the show in release order and still in the Clone Wars seasons. Definitely enjoying watching along with the pod in chronological order. Hopefully the SAG AFTRA strike resolved before I catch up to wherever the pod left off in Rebels, but until then, I love the switch up to print media and High Republic coverage #solidarity forever Ms. Kitty (from MA)

ahs0k@tanoHello ThereHey Steph and Chris! I want let you know that you guys help me get through the work day. It is awesome listening to you guys while my team lead screams at me. Going through my 6th or 7th listen through. I hope life is treating you very well
-
sophie_approvedfork haters, people deserve wagesabsolutely loving the book discussions! as a healthy obsessed star wars person, i’ve been reading through canon (and some legends) books for a long while now. and have no one to talk about it. but as always, listening to you , feels like chatting with friends. never seen marchion ro as dark romance hero, but now i’m convinced and kinda obsessed 😄 thank you so much!
-
greyjedigrlDark Side Divas just keep being the bestI just finished the latest episode and I am so so so grateful that you both covered LotJ- like, I have legitimately read that book a few times now and you both provided insight and perspective that just blew right past me. I have always loved this show and how it provides a femme and queer perspective on the SW visual media, but the books have always felt more like the side of Star Wars that I want to spend time in and I could not be more grateful that you all took the time to support the strikes (continuously!!!) and step into the High Republic, whether for light and life or to ride the storm, we are all the divas!

JellyDoughnut42Saving my gradesAs someone who just started college last year this podcast has been a saving grace that has helped me grind through some of the worst classes I have ever had to take. Be it no longer having to listen to insufferable professors or laughing through long and boring all nighters this podcast has been one of the few things helping me actually do my schoolwork.
-
SirAwkwardTheFirstPositivity in a dark time!Hello, I’ve been a listener since the beginning and absolutely love you guys. I love that I have a group of people that are as nerdy about Star Wars as I am. I just wanted to leave a review to let you know that I am enjoying you reading the books. The high Republic has been on my to read books for a while and could never get to it. It feels like I’m reading it with a book club at the moment because of you! I also wanted to say I applaud your morals and ethics to keep reading after several negative reviews. It means so much to me that the people I’ve seen grow some a small group of followers to seeing you on TikTok and instagram and interact with your fan base, sticking to what they believe is right! Please keep up the great work and love you two!
-
Int120Full supportI have never left a review on any podcast before and I never really intended to but in your last pod you got a review saying that you should switch back to the shows so I wanted to say my opinion. first that keep up the fight it is monstrous for these big studios to not pay the writers and actors on whom their entire industry depends. Second you are doing and amazing job on talking about the light of the Jedi, because you I am now reading the books (something else I didn’t think I would do) and loving it. Your emotion, humor, and takes on the material is always great and keeps me coming back for this and marvelous divas. Frankly I would love if you could find a way to continue with the books even after the strike ends, although that may be a little to much. Thank you for your support of the works and for making an amazing podcast that when I see a new episode never fails to brighten my day.
-
ptlong1Fun times with the DivasThis show is great, the perfect amount of witty and organized chaos, as well as addressing important political points and Twitter spoilers. This show was recommended by gold squad gays, Steph may remember they read my review when she was a guest. Started with your rebels coverage but now I got to start from the beginning because I’m all caught up. Can’t wait to hear more from you and keep up the fun content
-
RobertFairchild53MVThis Is The WayI have a great thing from your friend film theory! You guys push back against the toxic fanboys that do not get the message at the end of the day of Star Wars! Fanboys that say there is no politics in Star Wars they well say that right before they vote for Trump who is the Sith Lord in disguise! LOL If I ever get a chance to clone myself i’m giving the name of my clone Rex!
-
Rachellen80Rebel AllianceThank you so much for bringing positivity (and tons of humor) back to Star Wars. I grew up watching and loving the original trilogy. But with each new trilogy or even show the toxic fan boys find ways to ruin to what I love. Listening to and learning more about the Star Wars Universe from you both has restored my love and ignited a new passion to lean more on my own. Thank you so much!

great seriesGod speed rebels!Spengler: The architect's name was Ivo Shandor. I found it in Tobin's Spirit Guide. He was also a doctor. Performed a lot of unnecessary surgery. And then in 1920, he founded a secret society. Venkman: Let me guess: Gozer worshippers? Spengler: Right. Venkman: [to Stantz] "No studying"! Spengler: After the First World War, Shandor decided that society was too sick to survive. And he wasn't alone; he had close to a thousand followers when he died. They conducted rituals up on the roof, bizarre rituals intended to bring about the end of the world, and now it looks like it may actually happen!

InTechtualThis has taken over my lifeHello there! I am a recent Star Wars fan, but the fandom has taken over my life. I started watching it so that I could bum my friend's Disney+ account, but now I have been consumed by the galaxy far, far away. Since December I have watched the first 6 movies, Clone Wars, Rebels, Tales of the Jedi, and the Bad Batch. This podcast helped lift me out of the deep, despairing depression month after loosing Tech. I am about to finish your season 7 coverage of Clone Wars and I have so greatly enjoyed the ride. Because of your thirst, I have a greater appreciation and thirst for the clones and villans of star wars now. P.S. This is not meant to be a promotion, just a way of sharing thirst. My friends and I have discovered a site called the nerfherderco which sells very accurate wax melts, fragrances, and candles of star wars characters. You can buy boxes of wax melts to smell. Between the three of us, we have amassed 5 boxes of smells including rebels and the bad batch. Personally, I spray Tech on my pillow and wear Thrawn to work.
-
walkinby87May the Thirst be with you! These Divas delight in not only showing you the Dark Side of Star Wars, they serve the Galactic Full Monty. Stef and Chris’s smart, raunchy, sidesplitting guide through the visual media timeline is not safe for work, children, or bigots, but is sure to leave you grinning from lekku to lekku. No, this isn’t a Mind Trick; tune in and make your heart go pitter-pat today!

Catlover2015Funny, Friendly, and FantasticI have been listening to these two for weeks now. It has been humorous, thought provoking, and definitely for ADULTS. They are very good at calling out the toxicity of the Star Wars Fandom I love them for this. Please consider supporting them and listening to them. Update I listened to you read my review in the episode (btw got so much dopamine from that) and just want to point out 2015 is when I graduated high school.

DansWipDevastatingly GoodI started listening to this podcast after seeing your videos on TikTok a few months ago. Today I just finished the most recent episode and now I'm devastated. I have loved being able to binge this show and listen to you guys while getting ready in the morning, during my commute, and while working at my desk (with headphones of course)! I recently had the privilege of seeing John Williams conduct at the San Francisco symphony and I wish Chris and Steff were in person so I had two other Star Wars nerds to discuss with how amazing that opportunity was. I don't know what I'm going to do now that I have to wait every week for a new episode to come out. I have started listening to Marvelous Divas just to get more Steff and Chris content. I just bought another Disneyland Magic key and I hope I run into Chris so I can tell you in person how amazing the two of you are. Please keep making content I can't get enough of your YouTube and Patreon. Steff I apologize for how uncomfortable this review might make you feel from your impostor syndrome but just know you both deserve all the praise. Xoxo

Neighslayer35The two cohosts I want to be sandwiched betweenI love your podcast I found you on twitter talking about maul and sabine scene and since then I listened to every single episode since then and getting your perspective on act episode and hearing the trivia is just so nice and fun! I can’t wait to listen to new episodes and get your takes on rebels!
-
Korin_91you are my Gen X siblings I never had .As an elder millennial obsessed with Star Wars, growing up with the prequel’s. Thank you for validating my “weird” obsession with Darth Maul at age nine. While in lockdown in winter 2020 I watched clone wars and rebels, for the first time didn’t think I would ugly cry over a kid show. Watching them, and listening along was an absolute highlight too depressing year. I just finished the Solo episodes, first time re-watching sense theaters. It is so much more enjoyable, knowing the context, I’m kind of sad, I waited so long to re-watch, I also realized at the end with Enfys Nest ,Benthis (two tubes) is there as well which really means they are just a part of Saw Gerrera Team. ( everything is connected.) Thank you both for being amazing. I hope this makes Stephanie feel awkward
-
briasoloLove this!I was scrolling around looking for new Star Wars podcasts and found you guys! I started with your reviews of Kenobi. I love this show and I'm so glad ya'll liked it to. I'm working on going back to the begining and listening to all the pods. I love the Solo movie and I have the dice on my rear view also!
-
pink wig giv em whip lashI love you guysAs a young(ish) person, this podcast is the best. -
PrettyLady15New ListenerGen Xer here! I’ve migrated over from Tiktok. Loving it! It really gives you a chance to see some things differently with a little humor on the side. I listen alone (of course) but my 10yo did overhear ROTS Padme vs TCW Padme finding out Anakin went to the Darkside and he fell out laughing. I fully indoctrinated him into the lore on all levels. Keep up the good work! I’m fully invested.
-
R0s30fth0rnsDon’t drink and driveI love listening to this podcast while I commute to work and while doing on my feet activities. It feeds my disaster bi energy and nerdiness and love of Star Wars. It’s a super safe space to love and dislike aspects of the Star Wars universe, but I will say you should not drink a beverage while driving and listening to this podcast because you might end up choking on water and swerving on the highway Several comments have caught me off guard and caused impromptu spit takes 😂(please ignore the grammar)
-
UncleLurchThis is the way! This is the best Star Wars podcast I’ve come across. Steph and Chris are the perfect duo! They go over in detail all of the episodes of clone wars and other SW media and I love their commentary. It’s the perfect way for me to wind down and laugh on my commute to work and home. Thank you both very much for your time, effort and laughs. Keep doing what you do! Cheers! Update: Still the best Star Wars podcast imo!
-
mrvlfan95I love this podcastThis podcast is the perfect combination of educational and funny. It is perfect to listen to while doing work. I love listening to Stef and Chris because their hilarious opinions always make my day. Thank you for taking time out of your week to make these episodes.
-
OrdoTheSquintFunny, educational, and easily weaponizedStef and Chris are waltzing through the series that got me through a fairly traumatic backstory of a childhood with a lens I never thought to give it and opened my eyes to a way to actually like the prequels, and on top of that the language within it might make my conservative relatives' heads explode if I made them listen to any of it. It's very tempting... But I at least pretend to like them so I'll keep that in a back pocket for when they make that impossible. Thanks to both of you for making long and boring workdays more tolerable, teaching me new ways to love the Star Wars that has become core to my identity on and off the Internet, and for just bringing so much love and acceptance to my all time favorite universe. And Stef, we love your discomfort when Chris reads these.
-
GtjgryjhguhyuOne of the greatest Star Wars podcastsYou two are amazing. Keep up the great work!!! Also Idea for a new count… chopper kill count.
-
pj fanaticIs there a medication for podcast addiction?Dear Chis and Steph, this show brings joy to my life the only thing that would make it better is if you cover the son of dathomir comics. Also have fun with order 66. 😈😈😈
-
PhoenixCell418A different point of viewLove this podcast so much! The fun and energy you guys bring to this podcast makes me appreciate Star Wars so much more then any other content creators provide. I thought I knew a lot about the stories already but you guys have been the only ones that I’ve learned something new from in every episode that you’ve done. Can’t wait to cry when you point out more heartbreaking details in future podcasts.
-
sfbe try nbcdLifesaver!I’m starting my 4th listen through this podcast! I started working for a house cleaning company this year and this podcast is the only thing that keeps me sane while scrubbing rich peoples’ toilets.
-
knightjay02Absolutely DelightfulSo I’m very new to Star Wars, as in before a few months ago I had consumed little to no Star Wars content. But when I get into something I go in hard and so I looked for Star Wars podcasts, found this one and I’m so glad I did. Those two are hysterical and I’ve loved their insight and how they describe everything. It’s been totally accessible to someone like me with little to no background info (despite the occasional spoiler). And as a ace lesbian I may be baffled by their high degree of horniness but it always has me is stitches. Thank you to for guided me through my virginal clone wars experience. It’s been a joy.
-
Nattyboi24Best Star Wars Pod AroundHello Chris and Stephanie, I heard about this podcast after hearing Stephanie as a guest on Gold Squadron Gays, and immediately ran over to give y’all a listen. Best decision of my life so far. You both provide such unique (aka raunchy) and exciting perspectives on Star Wars, and it’s so nice to see fellow queer Star Wars fans in what feels like a never ending sea of toxic fans. Y’all have helped make the awkward void between new Star Wars content more bearable and fun, and I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard listening to any other podcast before. Listening to y’all while I commute to work is always the highlight of my day, and I’m sure that I will continue to enjoy and love your podcast forever.
-
Enigma~mellyI’ve got a good feeling about thisSuch a fun and light podcast that truly goes into what makes makes Star Wars works ! I have very few friends who are into Star Wars, and none of them are apart of the lgtbqia+ community like me. So hearing a fun queer friendly is pretty cool since I have no one to talk about how hot Hunter is. So thank y’all for the work you do, it’s like I hang out and talk geek crap with friends everyone Monday and I love that.
-
em_merpMy Mom Thinks I’m Addicted to PornI’ve been binging this over the past two weeks in all of my spare time and having the time of my life. My mom and I live together, which means whenever she enters the room as I am playing this i have to sprint to my phone to pause this before my mom hears Stephanie detail how, exactly, she wants Savage Oppress to choke her. My mom has taken this to mean that I am constantly listening to/watching porn in the living room. I had to explain to her that no, no porn is involved, I’m listening to a Star Wars podcast wherein two adults discuss wanting to have kinky sex with cartoon characters, which is just too much for a mother and daughter to listen to together. 10/10 would recommend this podcast, Stephanie and Chris I will be billing you for emotional damages.
-
Celtic PixieThis is indeed where the fun beginsAs a bisexual chaotic good archaeologist I approve of this podcast. I have been an obsessive Star Wars fan as long as I can remember and this podcast is the best. Truly well thought out, funny and so intelligent, with just the right amount of silly. I absolutely adore listening and look forward to lazy Sundays where I can clean and turn on Dark Side Divas. Thank you both for all you do. ❤️
-
Detatched and SubdividedA great way to re-experience the sagaFound y’all through TikTok and when I decided to start my Clone Wars rewatch I started listening to the podcast at the same time. A fantastic podcast with deep dives on the behind the scenes info and great discussions, especially when the conversation is about which Star Wars characters are the best in bed and which would ghost you 5 minutes after the hookup.
-
fatherpandaForce Nerds UnleashedWhere to begin I am an assistant manager almost General manager at Speedway gas station. I found you guys on tik tok and can literally not stop listening. I find myself going through 3-4 episodes a shift at work and absolutely love listening to your humor and very informative information on Star Wars lore that I didn’t know. May the force be with you both and keep up the great work I can’t wait to start listening to Marvel Divas next!
-
ApplesourzLovely Star Wars podcastI love listening to you guys all the time and am always so excited to listen to more and more content u both make. I have been listening to you guys whenever I’m overstimulated and stressed and you’ve both helped me feel more confident and comfortable when I’m in the gym. Thank you both so much for making a causal friendly podcast for a simple man making his way through the galaxy.
-
Kenichi_KurosakiPodcast to work toI found y’all on TikTok and have been listening to your podcast for a while now. It has been my favorite thing to listen to while at work. I have a very physical job and getting to laugh about Star Wars makes the job much more fun. Keep being your fun selves
