    Super practical information!
I love this podcast because the episodes are quick, to the point, and packed with practical information! The knowledge Lizzie provides comes from a place of empowerment, not guilt or shame. So glad I found this podcast!

Every episode is an advertisement for her course
I can appreciate running a business and pay walling some information, but every episode is just a long description of topics that will be covered in the course. Listened to stages of labor episode, and absolutely none of the stages of labored were discussed, just talking about how important it is to know them.

    Incredible resource!!
This podcast is an incredible resource. The episodes are so clear and straightforward with so much great info packed into each one. For example, if you are considering an induction, please listen to episode 137 first. But seriously, just start listening early pregnancy and listen to them all. It’s really so educational and important for better birth outcomes.

    Best birth podcast
Started listening after a fellow crunchy, naturally minded friend recommended it to me. I’m so thankful for all the free information she gives you in these episodes. I’m 16 weeks pregnant and will be doing her birth course! So much information about your rights as a mom and just evidence based information! So good!

    Homebirth mentality
I am having my baby in the hospital due to money but I want it to be like a home birth as much as possible and this podcast has really helped me learn about my rights as a mother and the steps I want to take to have an unmedicated physiological birth. I definitely reccomend this podcast to any mom who wants tips about giving birth unmedicated or medicated because Lizzie has really good advice for lots of things!

    Fear mongering
Definitely biased, edging on hospital fear mongering. Not all hospitals are out to get you and although her podcast can be informational, I find she spends most of the time hating on the staff’s intentions rather than directing you how to manage your birth plan in a hospital setting.

    Preparing for VBAC
I started listening because a friend of mine recommended that I listen to this amazing podcast if I really want an unmedicated VBAC! I have not been disappointed at all. I am relentlessly binging from the very beginning and I am learning so much about how to tip the odds to have the birth of my dreams. Every mom to be who wants to keep it natural should be listening!

    A new perspective
I love her perspective of birth! This is the perfect place for mamas to learn their options and become empowered in their birth! No matter what you choose for your birth, know your options.

    Empowered no matter what
Lizzie’s unapologetic attitude is truly inspiring. She shares her knowledge in this podcast through real life experiences and powerful analogies that will make you rethink everything society has led you to believe about birth.

    Homebirth at the hospital
So many women want a homebirth but can't for a variety of reasons and Lizzie really empowers moms to take control of their hospital birth and stay informed with evidence based information.

    Knowledge is Power!
This is hands down the most real and informative pregnancy and birth podcast out there! Lizzie’s episodes are short and to the point (which I love!) Listening to this along with joining the Unmedicated Academy got me through my second pregnancy and hospital birth. Lizzie gave me the confidence and knowledge I needed and I had the unmedicated hospital birth I dreamed of! Thank you Lizzie!

    Very informative!
I’m glad I found this podcast! It’s nice to have a place to find information that you SHOULD be told by our healthcare system/doctors but are not always given that information. This podcast will help me make decisions for myself by having more knowledge going into a pregnancy.

    Just what I needed
After finding out some discouraging news at 20 weeks my birth plan had to do a complete 180. I was feeling a little hopeless that I had no chance of achieving the birth I wanted after being told I would need to deliver 3 hours away at a big hospital. Lizzie, this podcast, and Unmedicated academy have helped me so much. The more I listen the more I feel the birth I want is achievable, even in a hospital setting.

Might be okay when balanced with other research
I only listened to one episode, but in that episode there was inaccurate medical information and pushed this sentiment of “be suspicious of everything your doctor says”. I think this could be dangerous to consume in isolation and I really encourage pregnant people to do their own research using a variety of sources.

    Informative
Very informative podcast! Listening to this helps me feel confident as I prepare to give birth.

    Empowering
Lizzie’s knowledge and strength as a woman, birth educator, business owner and mother is unmatched. She has so much information and is so dedicated to every follower. You can hear the passion in her voice when she talks about birth education and being a mother. Truly love listening her speak, and at the same time she is helping me learn how to be as empowered as she is. 💖

    Everyone should be listening 👏🏼
This podcast is not only absolutely AMAZING for any mamas planning for an unmedicated birth but is also great for any mama who will be giving birth in general! Sometimes birth happens fast and there’s no time for an epidural and sometimes epidurals just don’t work! You should be prepared for the possibility of giving birth unmedicated no matter what your plan is and Lizzie’s podcast is the BEST place to start 👏🏼👏🏼 👏🏼 10/10 RECOMMEND 🙌🏼

    Binge worthy
I stumbled upon this podcast when I had to be switched off an ambulance and into an office about halfway through my pregnancy and needed something to do. I think I binged the entire podcast within a week! Lizzie is so full of knowledge and not afraid to point out some of the big flaws we have in healthcare related to birth, while teaching you how to make informed and empowered decisions! My little guy came 5 weeks early and I was SO confident in making decisions, and more importantly saying NO to things during my unmedicated labor. Thank you!

This is where I send my doula clients!!
Because when my clients have questions for me from their actual experiences, this podcast sounds incredibly similar to our meetings, phone calls, texts and emails. Listening to Lizzie’s perception and unwavering presentation is exactly the reassurance, boldness and momtuition I want all my doula exposed to — because they deserve it. Lizzie this is a free, on-fire resource, totally worthy of compensation so this is a HUGE thank you for your passion and compassion for mothers that keeps you bringing your heart and well-earned experiences and information here for us.

    Fierce role model
Lizzie empowers moms to take control of their birth and do birth their way, even if thats in the hospital. Refreshing to hear her perspectives coming through, our values really align. Love these episodes!

Thank you for standing up to inclusive language
I’m giving five stars for that episode alone and of course the other content. I LOVED hearing these women absolutely destroy woke verbiage and fight for women to be called what we are. WOMEN. Amen to that and god bless.

    Love the length of episodes!
Just found this podcast last night and I loving the episode lengths! It feels so digestible! I am also loving the content and feeling super empowered as I prepare for my unmedicated delivery.

    More moms need Lizzie!
Lizzie’s advice in her podcast is so practical and applicable for moms. Home birth is great, but it’s not always for everyone- finally a podcast for the other 98% of moms who don’t want to be railroaded by the hospital system but may not be ready for home birth.

    Down to Earth Education
This podcast is so refreshing! She is down to earth, honest and easy to listen to. I listened to this podcast and worked one on one with her prior to my birth, and it honestly made me feel so much more prepared. The idea of childbirth can seem so daunting and scary, but I think it is the industry and media that makes it so! When you become educated and trust your body, you realize there’s no need for all the excessive medications and interventions. Thank you for continuing to educate us women!

    First Time Mom Essential
I was blown away at all the topics discussed on this podcast! As a first time mom I feel like I am just soaking in all the information that no one told you. I had my first baby unmedicated and it was for sure of the hardest things I’ve done. Preparation is key to an amazing birth! Very happy baby was healthy and next time I want to try a home birth instead of the hospital. Thank you Lizzy for empowering women and being a force for good in the birthing world!

Haven’t come across an episode I don’t LOVE!
I’m a doula and birth educator myself and have been for years. I recently got into podcasts and starting with Lizzie’s. She talks the way I think and as I listen, I feel like I’m having a fun conversation with someone who thinks and talks like me. She says a lot of the same things I talk to my clients about and she even brings a different perspective, especially on the hospital side. It’s definitely fun to see and hear about the contrast between OOH birth and hospital birth so I appreciate her hospital PoV. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone, doula or new mom. It’s also refreshing to hear her kids and life in the background, it adds confidence to those mompreneurs who SAHM with kids and want to do things but they are in the background 😅

    Informative and funny
There’s something about Lizzie’s highly relatable and pithy content that always brightens my day. She never condescends and I feel like she always “gets” me. So much respect for this SAHM, homeschooling mom and entrepreneur. Thank you for standing your ground and not caving to the woke mob. Please keep up the amazing work!!

    Unapologetically Unmedicated
Thank you!! Thank you. Thank you! That’s all I can think of saying. This information is so incredibly important and valuable. What’s happening to women in the US via the standard hospital birth model it’s nothing short of ABUSE. The amount of procedures done without consent is alarming. The fear mongering form MALE doctors has to stop. Pregnancy is not a medical condition. I started earning about all this through friends who had home births. Podcasts like this further added to the knowledge and empowerment that we can have as women who were made for births. Thank you!
  • Linds2929
    So helpful!
Lizzie is amazing. I think I have listened to every single episode. I am a FTM at 28 weeks and I can’t tell you how much information I have gotten from this podcast and how much more confident I feel going into my birth.
  • Sav101020

    Grateful for the Education
Lizzie does a great job of covering important topics for expecting moms. I knew I wanted to try to go unmedicated, but this podcast really gives you a clear understanding of why a mom would want an intervention free birth, item by item.

    Replacing fear with empowerment
In the midst of my first pregnancy and wanting an unmedicated birth, there is a shocking/discouraging amount of pushback from others. You hear far more about not needing to be a hero or no support at all. Apart from my husband, no one welcomes the idea of an unmedicated birth- get the epidural, do a c-section, get induced, etc. BUT, I found this podcast and I have never felt more encouraged and empowered! Lizzie’s personal experience as a mom and knowledge as a doula helps ease so many fears, provides so many answers to important questions, and offers genuine scientific evidence that supports the beauty of this birth option. I can’t recommend this podcast enough and am so grateful for the episodes!
  • SM1427
    My favorite birth podcast!
I so appreciate Liz sharing her knowledge and wisdom about self-advocacy in pregnancy and birth. I am in my third trimester and hoping for and preparing for a physiological birth in the hospital system. A hospital environment isn’t my first choice, but since discovering Liz on IG and listening to her content I feel empowered to ask the necessary questions of my providers and take on the task of insisting on informed consent in my pregnancy and birth. Liz is easy to listen to and follow as the episodes are well-organized and to the point. She’s a great teacher! Cute baby sounds in the background of some episodes are a huge plus as well. 🤍

    Love love this podcast!
I love listening to Doula Lizzie talk about childbirth and empowering moms to have the birth they desire, specifically a physiological birth. We need more women to speak up and normalize birth, and Lizzie does just that! Highly recommend this podcast if you’re thinking of having a baby, currently pregnant, or like me, just love all things birth related!!
