Fascinating deep dives into one Beatles song at a time. It’s like slowly savoring a great feast. The perfect mix of extremely knowledgeable but not smug or arrogant. The host is lovely and the guests are always interesting.

Excellent, in-depth discussions of great songs. Interesting guests, very skilled host, who makes his own quite insightful observations of the song under discussion. See esp. the ‘Penny lane’ episode - great stuff there on memory and place that was almost ‘Nabokov-ian.’ Also the episode on ‘you never give me your money- - some very cool music analysis observations there.

This is a really nice Beatles podcast. The episodes are a good length which makes them consistently entertaining. The host and guests are always very knowledgeable and offer great insights into the Beatles discography. For those who are new to The Beatles (as well as scholars of the band) it is definitely worth checking out!
