Huge fan of the pod!

Love listening to this podcast - lots of tangible tips for actually breaking into the freelance photography world that no one tells you about. Like some other commenters I agree it’s definitely a bit bro-y / cringey sometimes and would love to see more female guests on the pod!

Usually love this pod for all of the technical advice and love all the guests you guys get on but I dare you to re-listen to Episode 74 and count how many times Brayden talks over Abigail. Seriously man

Love what these guys are doing. The information is great and you can tell they know what they’re talking about. But the amount of ‘dude bro’ talk makes the podcast tough to listen to at points. I’ve tried getting other industry friends and industry beginners to listen to this podcast, and for the most part, they can only make it about two minutes. I will be sticking with the show as, again, the information is solid.

In school, you learn that over time, boulders become weathered. After years of rain, ice, wind, tumbling, and cracking, a boulder becomes a just a tiny pebble. At least that’s what I thought…. The rocks of the 505 have reversed this though. They show that a tiny, itty-bitty pebble can actually GROW and become a boulder. Mind blowing stuff here. Give it a listen. Become a boulder.

Hey guys! Love this podcast! I’ve listened to almost every episode! I’ve written a vision board for the next year and said I’ll be on the 505 one day. Thanks for all the amazing tips! I’ve met Kostas in AZ while he filmed for Loud Luxury! It’s Sam idk if you remember me but I’ve picked up a camera since March and have been living the dream. I take so many tips especially how if you want to get work you’ll do the work for free and create it yourself instead of waiting which I’ve been doing! One question would be when reaching out to Artist/events/companies/festivals and wanting to film or be on the media team what is the best way to craft a simple message that’s short but also shows your experience that you’re not just asking to take pictures but that you’re wanting to do this because it’s your career or hopefully on the road to becoming your full time career.

My friends get annoyed with me because of how much I reference a pod episode and then ask if they’ve listened to it ? Or when I send them 3 pod links in 2 hrs 😂😂 SO MUCH VALUE. love the pod.

The 505 Podcast is super fun and informative, and the three creatives who host it are phenomenal! Brayden, Chase, and Kostas are grounded, grateful, and growth-minded. They are perceptive interviewers who create space for fascinating storytelling by their remarkable guests, and skillfully guide the focus to providing unprecedented insights into life and business as a creative. Reflections about their own experiences lead to exceptional advice. The great thing is, it all turns out to be life lessons as well. The three hosts share a joyful connection which is a gift to their audience. Paying it forward big time!

I followed BFiggy for a while now and he’s helped me with some ideation and creation for videography. I used to listen to his other podcast and was sad when it ended but glad that he has started another! And because of it started following the other boys as well and love all the content! I slowly slipped out of videography because of a job where it truly felt like a job but now I’m getting back into it and listening to this pod while doing my workflow is amazing! Keep it up guys!

I honestly love this podcast so much. No matter what it’s about. I look forward to Wednesdays just because I know the 505 is coming through for me. I gain so much value as a budding filmmaker and as someone who loves puns and corny camera jokes. Chase’s sense of humor is unmatched LOL I honestly feel this podcast is helping my freelance business from the advice and the delivery of said advice. It brings back the fun in the daunting process of growing as a freelancer. DROP MERCH!!

This podcast motivated me to get back on the grind of photography/videography. They’re funny and so creative

Teaching myself how to make videos, find out which gear I need to buy, how to edit, and much more… I could not relate to this podcast more! The boys know what they are talking about and are not afraid to learn each and everyday. Their insight and knowledge is entertaining and beneficial. ✌🏼
