Welcome to Hot Off The Press, a podcast that provides knowledge and emotional support for new and aspiring printers.Your hosts, Jillian of Studio Soprano and Moriah of Moriah Creates, are two letterpress printers who believe in sharing their knowledge and learning together. Our goal is to help bridge the gap between this antique printing method and modern design. We've poured through the forums, asked the experts, and learned some things first hand. We'll be sharing all of our tips and tricks, as well as interviewing some of the leaders of the industry. Toss off that apron and tune in!

Informative and entertaining!

This podcast is so informative and generous. The hosts are funny, lighthearted, and passionate. Their hands-on experience comes through and the details they provide about the realities of printing are so useful. They aren’t as strong on printing history, but that’s not their gig, so don’t judge them too harshly, fellow nerds. Come for the insight on the letterpress stationary business as it functions today, stay for the good vibes and printing love. I’m four episodes in and I am really looking forward to the dozens of episodes ahead.

Hot Off the Press Pod is such an incredible resource for new and seasoned letterpress printers alike. Jillian & Moriah are open, funny, and a breath of fresh air in an industry that can be anything but. Literally saved my inking issues

This podcast has been a life saver! Moriah and Jillian have talked about every problem I’ve had on my press and I’ve been able to move forward on projects that I’ve been stuck on for weeks! Informative and Fun!

As a calligrapher (gasp!) who is starting to do stationery design and would LOVE to own a press some day, this podcast is amazing. The interviews have probably been my favorite, but I have listened to every episode from start to finish. Each episode is interesting and always provides great information. I’m a calligrapher who decided to jump in to the letterpress world recently. This podcast came at the perfect time! I literally listened to the newest episode about polymer plates as I was testing out blind impressions of my own polymer plate on my C&P 10x15.

Best podcast for creatives!!!

I LOVE Hot Off the Press. I could listen to Jillian and Moriah for hours. I’m not a letterpress printer, but as a creative person I find their passion for their craft contagious. And with all the amazing tips and tricks they share, I might just have to get into printing after all! 10/10 recommend not just for letterpress printers, but all creatives.
