YogaCynChaos is OKAY!Thanks for the reminder that learning can look and sound different for everyone. I’ve had a similar experience of content/grade-level teachers thinking our yoga time was too loud or even too playful and feel better knowing it’s a common experience for kids yoga teachers!

FuhcswegvvffgbGreat ideas for teaching self-regulation skillsI love the ideas for teaching the “calm jar” and the “crystal bowl.” Many teachers use the calm jar as a sensory device but it is not clearly explained or practiced. Thanks for simple ideas to practice regulation skills for the adults and the children! I plan to share these ideas (and the podcast) with others!

Margie @ Kula for KarmaYoga and the Child Development part 2 : The School -Age ChildEnjoyed this podcast. Yes, how often from our kids say “I’m bored”. Kids need to be okay with finding their own space. And as parents (especially when there are multiple children), we need to find time to give them of ourselves. Not material things. Real, one-on -one authentic personal time. Thank you Kristi

judyxoSo grateful for this wonderful podcast! ❤️I’ve been following Kidding Around Yoga for a while now as I have 2 daughters and everything I’ve learned from these conversations has been so helpful and encouraging. I use a lot of tips as my tools for grounding, different perspectives and slowing down to be present and sharing those practices with my daughters. It’s amazing to see how it impacts their world and they do it as well when they feel they need extra support. Thank you so much for this work you’re doing and sharing with the world and our next generation!! 🫶🏽

Kaeli DarnellGreat ideas for conversation startersI love the story about the top hat and gum and finding kid’s own identities. My daughter looks to me for an opinion and I try to instill in her that her own opinion matters and she can be whoever she wants. This episode had some great ideas for conversation starters. Thanks for the great listen!!
