Alex, day 1 starts after the baby comes out of the womb…365 days later, your baby’s birthday, marks one year they’ve been earthside. So your baby’s is not a “year and some change”. That applies for every year. Add another 365 days to the last 365… she’ll be two. I used to love listening but the brain rot is KILLING me 😩

This podcast won’t exist in 5 years. Classic case of individuals thinking the grass is greener yet failing to put in half the effort needed to succeed. Their husbands will be financing their “careers” in the next 3-5 years. Their IG following has been cut in half since their departure and shockingly they’re putting out less content than ever before. The topics they choose to discuss are “podcasting 101” & “chalk topics that get views”. Jordyn seems to think she’s the first female to ever get a bf, and Alex is trying to convince the world her rebound & baby was her Cinderella story when in fact both are treading water to keep themselves afloat

I loved this last episode! I’ve been a day one listener since bar stool days and listening to these burning questions was so fun. I still totally enjoy this podcast even if the content has changed over time.

I have been listening since the beginning,bar stool days. Mostly enjoyed listening but lately Alex has been off her game. She doesn’t seem as into mean girl pod as she is with Just Alex. The solo episodes Jordon did while Alex was on maternity leave have been my favorites lately.

I used to love this podcast, but lately it feels a bit off. I’m not sure if Jordan and Alex chat much outside of recording because the natural flow you once had seems to be missing. The content is still good, but I’d love to hear more about your media business and what’s on the horizon for Mean Girl Pod. Also, if you’re still close friends, maybe consider posting more about each other or the podcast—it would help with engagement and show listeners that you’re invested! Just some thoughts to help the podcast reach its full potential…

Used to LOVE listening but you can tell the connection between the hosts is just not the same anymore. Alex feels uninterested. Used to feel like friends chatting about the most unhinged topics and relating and now they feel so separated from each other.

You can tell Alex just isn’t interested in this podcast. Jordan is so excited for each episode and Alex is like blah. She is way more into just Alex and Harrison

What happened this podcast!! The early days with Alana were amazing and so lighthearted. I miss the self deprecating humor. there’s this arrogance now that is such a turn off, can’t stand it anymore

I seemed like they tried hard and wanted to make the best podcast they could in the past, but now it feels like they lost their passion to make the best content they can, everything feels repetitive and lazy to a certain degree. I know they can and want to do better

Relatable in every way. As someone who doesn’t have many girlfriends it’s nice to have two amazing ladies in my ear share about experiences I can relate to and gain knowledge from. And just simply amazing and a great time to listen to!

Loved this show when it was through Barstool , I looked forward to it every week. After Alanna left, it feels like that is where everything started to turn. I find Alex and Jordyn highly unrelatable now and I feel like they have changed so much as people in general and have grown to be incredibly tone deaf. The Super Bowl reel on Insta was the final straw for me. I don’t know how you could post something like that and say it was through a “lens” that was supposed to be comical. Wake up and realize that your audience is not the same as you. We are normal people, with normal jobs, and a lot of us carry abusive relationship trauma. So disappointing that you pride yourselves on being a Podcast that talks about relationships but can say something so triggering to so many people. Think before you post. You both used to be so genuine, but your focus now is to only create content and push it out without thinking twice about how people will receive it. I truly feels like you no longer care about your listeners and that you simply want clout. I wish you growth and hope you can turn it around eventually.

The podcast started off rocky but they found their footing when Alanna began producing. I started really enjoying the conversations and was laughing out loud while listening. Once Alanna left, it got rocky again but I kept listening because I thought they were just finding their footing again. After they left Barstool, I had high hopes for it to get back to what it was when Alanna was producing and kept listening. But it’s been months and it’s just not the same podcast that initially drew me in. I’m no longer their target audience but I’ll still be rooting for them and their comeback!

Wow this pod has gone downhill. Now that they left barstool they have no idea how to run a show and frequently don’t even introduce the guests. They say the word like an insane amount as well

Both of them are so unrelatable and unrealistic with their perspective on everything

I’ve never heard of this girl or her boyfriend before—- and hope i never have to hear her speak again. SFK sounds like a textbook narcissist & over the top insecure. I had to stop 10 minutes in because i cringed so hard. Not sure why you thought this would be a captivating person to interview.

It’s just not a show anymore

I’m 5 minutes in and have heard “like” more times than I’d like to hear in my lifetime. And of course again they are both tired and sick, can’t get out of bed, nervous. In other news the sky is blue.

Love listening - feels like I’m kicking it with my friends. But why do the commercials sound like you’re shouting from within a 50 foot cave? Haha

Interested to see where they take this pod. I do hope they get some training. As a listener it would be better if they remembered that we don’t know the inside jokes etc. Also they’re 80+ episodes in, if you can’t make smooth transitions/topic intros, there’s no need to laugh about it. We all know that good pods require planning and it’s not all going to be spur of the moment. Their honesty has always been apparent and appreciated so hopefully season 2 is a hit.

Listened to the new pod and the audio is very echoey. Please fix it’s really hard to listen to, I had to stop with my headphones bc the audio quality was so bad

Started listening to this podcast about 2 months ago. I found it hard to finish a full episode but it served as a good distraction to get me through small tasks. I was interested to see what they would do outside of barstool and I really did enjoy the play by play on how exactly everything went down after they left. But.. something about their attitude about it all was just so.. laughable. I understand no one wants to be a part of a toxic work environment but it seem like they simply just tried to ignore it until it went away. The poor me, I’m sick, I’m sad, and the I don’t wanna do it attitude is gonna be a pass for me. Wishing these girlies healing and growth. I look forward to seeing what other projects they might do.

Absolutely awful content..this pod is very weak and these girls try so hard to be funny yet don't even come close. Target audience must be middle school girls, would not recommend. The worst podcast from the Barstool brand...no wonder they weren't renewed for season 2.
