Huhh?!?!?!The Podcast That Helped Me Make It Home for Dinner (and Love My Practice Again)As an attorney running my own practice, I thought the phrase "work-life balance" was a mythical creature, like Bigfoot or a judge who never interrupts. But then I stumbled upon Great Practice, Great Life by Atticus, and let me tell you—it’s a game-changer. This podcast doesn’t just talk about managing your law practice; it speaks to your soul (and your calendar). Steve Riley has packed the episodes with wisdom and relatable humor, and they get what it means to juggle client demands, court deadlines, and, oh yeah, family life. Since tuning in, I’ve learned strategies to streamline my practice, say “no” to time-sucking distractions, and—most importantly—actually make it home for dinner with my wife and seven-year-old son. My son even remember what I look like now! The hosts and guests are like the dream team of legal mentorship—smart, engaging, and refreshingly honest about the ups and downs of the profession. They serve up actionable advice with just the right amount of wit and humanity to keep you hooked. If you’re ready to transform your practice and reclaim your life (maybe even take a weekend off?!), this podcast is your golden ticket. Five stars, two thumbs up, and a high-five to Steve and Atticus for making my practice—and my family life—so much better.

VMedinaBest Conversations for Helping Lawyers Lead Great LivesThis podcast is worth a subscribe and starting off your week with a listen. It’s incredible the kind of nuggets that Steve is able to pull from his interviewees to help lawyers with their practice and their purpose. Sure I’m biased as one of Atticus’ program facilitators, but I also have a unique view into the programs inside and outside of the Atticus ecosphere. I can tell you that this podcast gives you a direct pass into the best thinking that the Atticus community has to share with lawyers and team leaders. Even as someone inside of the fold, I don’t miss a single episode.

D Taylor BSUInsightful, DelightfulI’m a law firm owner and I’m constantly trying to find guidance in the busy, demanding work life of a managing attorney. I find this podcast to be very insightful, and it constantly gets my wheels turning. I have my spouse and my staff listen to this as well. The podcasts are also inspiring- I love hearing from other attorneys to hear how they overcome their struggles.

Angel Leal, Esq.This Podcast is THERAPY for overwhelmed lawyersSteve Riley’s Podcast is THERAPY for lawyers who are overwhelmed and feel hopeless about building a better practice and living a better life. It’s therapy because the podcast teaches you that the answers are within you. It’s about changing your mindset. Each episode will give you an entirely new perspective as to how view your practice and your life. And with each episode you acquire the building blocks to change your thought process. Without changing your viewpoint, you’re not even on the right path. Behavioral assessments, marketing, communication, organization, systems, processes, high conflict individuals, focus, time management, hiring, time off, great adventures are all on the menu with a great life as your final course. Listen for your clients. Listen for your team. Listen for your family. And listen for yourself. You will be inspired, educated and motivated. Thank you Atticus for your mission. Michael F. HancockSteve Riley is THE expert on ethical lawyer coaching and law firm growth.Steve Riley and the team at Atticus have been providing ethical lawyer coaching for many years. Steve is not only a lawyer coach, but a lawyer himself. Someone who has been there and done that! His podcast provides great nuggets of information and ideas I can immediately use in my practice. The Atticus programs provide a wealth of knowledge for attorneys who want to grow their law firm and live a better life. There are other businesses and associations in the law firm management and marketing world. Some are good, while others are all about incredible growth - of their own business! Steve and Atticus are truly concerned about the individual lawyer for the long haul. You will learn so much from Steve that the hardest part might be editing a long list of great ideas to grow your firm down to a few, and then to implement those few ideas. But if you consistently do that, you will no doubt achieve the growth and great practice you want. I believe their tag line is …Great Practice. Great Life.” I recommend you follow Steve, attend an Atticus program, and you will be on your way to both!

HsdartUnderstanding the business of law. Most lawyers have a grasp of the law, very few have a grasp of the business of law. Steve grasps the business of law as well as anyone and he teaches it in a common-sensical method so a lawyer with little business skills can quickly learn the fundamentals and processes for operating a successful practice. I highly recommend both the podcast and his coaching. Steve D - Attorney
