You guys come back from a long, long break and within a couple shows you have two in a row that have nothing to do with Ponzi schemes? There’s no shortage of stories on these.

Interesting and Well Told

Love this show! Javier has a few other shows that are great as well, but this one is my favorite because it’s a little more laid back (just my personal preference). Javier and Neal have a good rapport and they tell the story with out trying to wildly sensationalize an already wild story. Worth a listen!

As a fellow fan of scams and scheme's these guys nail it! Plus they have a good flow of Conversation and they don’t to do much irrelevant off topic chatter which drives me nuts on other podcasts so thanks guys and keep Up the good work I already binged them all!

What happened to Javier?

The reporter whose stories were well written and compelling? This feels very unstructured and disorganized to the point of being incomprehensible. I kept having to rewind to keep track is what was happening. Maybe one podcast is enough???

Get off the weed

Ugh they are THE WORST. Javier sounds like he’s stoned and the other guy has zero personality. I used to listen to “Pretend” podcast bc he doesn’t sound so stupid. I can’t listen to this without just wanting to kick them both in the face.

Financial schemes for dummies!

Excellent dive on each episode into stories that reveal the lure, enticements and guarantees offered to desperate, curious and doomed investors. Great hosts that peel the layers back and connect the dots.

Stop saying “actually”

I like the premise of this podcast. However, Neal’s habit of saying “actually” in every sentence is beyond annoying.

I really like true crime podcasts. What I like about The Ponzi Playbook is that it details crimes without having to deal with murders. Definately worth a listen.
