solacesoughtIndustry Insider / Outsider EducationKaren's experience within the industry provides the real life education she offers both here & in her classes. She is the real deal & so is her training. From pre-formulation (some of the most important steps are here- materials sourcing, brand development, storyboarding, client-perfumer interaction, etc) to accord building & marketing, Karen can lead you through these processes in smaller, digestible, doable segments- allowing the neophyte very actionable steps. Also, great review and check-ins for active perfumers. A very warm and personable teacher, she is whipsmart, humorous and realistic with an open mind and big heart. It is hard for me to come up with another name as experienced, available and accurate as Karen. With all the choices and perspectives available today- you will not go wrong not be disappointed with what Karen offers. Much gratitude Karen!

DeweystewThis one is the best.I’m new to perfume making. I only decided a month ago to give it a try. This is clearly the best podcast about what it takes to make perfume. Listen to every episode. Karen knows what’s up. I need to take a class.

Aspiring perfumerLoving all of itIm a pastry chef with a love of fragrances and botanicals and curious about trying my hand at artisan perfumery, and this podcast is checking all of my boxes. I’ve scoured the internet searching for the good sources and this is definitely one of them. Karen demonstrates a clear understanding of her work and communicates that in a tone that is both earnest and encouraging. I’ve only just finished episode three, but I’m excited to keep learning from her.

marcus1341Amazing & beyond useful content!!!I can’t express enough how helpful your content has been in just 7 episodes. I do so much online reading with what little time I have and struggle with getting quality information in short bursts that I am able to get them at. So listening to your podcast has been soooo helpful! 🙏 I’m able to educate myself during my commute and get real quality advice. Your very informative and honest, thank you and am excited to keep listening.
