This man has had the greatest sports info and takes on DFW sports forever, and he’s quite philosophical. I have a signed copy of his poetry book he wrote after coming out of Buffalo. I wish I could get him to resign it for me, as the signature was well before I was born. Sadly I’ll just always disagree on his Pete Rose hall of fame take. I won’t lay out my arguments here, but he’s yet to say anything that breaks my reasoning. I LOVE norm though, I owe my PhD in psychology to him, and he’ll never know that. But my god, will I help push anything this man creates! He’s a man of God, and it shines through. So I never doubt his decency or honesty in arguments. He’s changed my mind on quite a few things over 40 years of my life. Please, give him a shot…even if you’re not a DFW sports fan, the man has great philosophy takes too and tells the greatest stories.

I love Norm, but good god, can someone fix the awful audio? It sounds like he’s recording in an airport bathroom. Get this man some sound dampening and a quality microphone. This Texas radio hall of famer deserves better!

Great to find Norm in podcast form. First discovered his wisdom and wit on KERA when I was in high school. Left Dallas years ago so this is a great find!
