im all for 10 minutes of banter at the beginning of an episode but im literally halfway through the episode and they just now started the subject.

If this podcast has no fans I’m dead. I wait every week for an episode and if none come out I rewatch old ones. I love this podcast so much, I love a silly history moment. If you don’t like this podcast then maybe you should consider that you don’t like fun.

Found out about this pod from a YouTube video. I’m 20 min into a 2-hour episode and so far, there is NO discussion of the topic at hand. I don’t care about Maisie Peters at a bookstore. Give some timestamps at least. I don’t know you yer, so I don’t care to hear 25 min now if your catching up.

This podcast has me cackling every single episode. I watch it on YouTube sometimes and it’s fun to see Blair and Carley interact and laughing with each other. Highly recommend for the happy cool vibes and interesting topics.

The girls are fun, I love their energy and I mostly like what they have to say about the history, but in my opinion their vibe is more “silly” than actually “funny.” Saying the same two word bit over top of eachother 7 times in a row just doesn’t do it for me. If you like goofy silly chats with a smidge of history, then this is for you. If you want a history podcast that happens to be humorous, maybe not. P.s. it makes a lot of sense that this is just unmanaged grown up theater kid energy 😬

i don’t listen to any other podcasts besides this one - i’ve never been as entertained as i am by carley and blair. one of the funniest, most insightful, and interesting podcasts i’ve heard in a long time - can’t recommend enough. this is like the fault in our stars of podcasts if every other podcast was a john green book. an absolute blast, 100/10.

You know the meme where the kid is laughing and eating ice cream with a poster of women who are also laughing and enjoying ice cream and the caption says “How it feels to listen to podcasts”? THAT is the way this podcast makes me feel.

I love learning and laughing

I’ve been watching co-host Carley’s YouTube content for awhile, which is how I found this podcast. The way Carley and Blair alternate between discussing the topic of the week and sailing off on a tangent (in a completely organic way) is like manna for my ADHD neurotype (Carley is openly ADHD, so that makes sense). Keep up the good work.

i’m gonna need this to become a series covering different historical events because it’s SO GOOD. listening to a new episode is one of the highlights of my week!

I was there 111 years ago when the ship went down and Carley and Blair personally repelled from their cobra attack helicopter, scooped me up from the water, & gave me a blankie and a hot chocolate. God bless these two and their new podcast 🙏🏻
