This podcast has been my companion for many years now. Unlike Marc, I have a hard time accepting the fact that Joe Rogan’s trash is rated higher, having more mass appeal than this podcast. And just like Marc, I am very concerned about the masses. This podcast will be forever #1 in my books. ❤️

Didn’t stand a chance. Like all guest the show was all about Marc. Among many Silverman interesting topics he glossed over Sarah’s brilliant performance in Maestro. The narcissist remains in Marc.

I’ve been a listener on-and-off since 2010, and really admired Marc as a person who always tries to do the right thing, even when it’s hard , uncomfortable, or alienating. So to see him platform Sarah Silverman, someone who not only supports but actively cheers on a genocidal campaign in Gaza filled with numerous human rights abuses and atrocities, im incredibly disappointed. I adored the recent Bridget Everett episode, but unless he comes out with a sincere apology, that will be the last episode I ever listen to. Do better Marc, stop platforming those who cheer on ethnic cleansing. Free Palestine.

I was wildly concerned about you after hearing you were falling asleep with nicotine lozenges in…you’re a true wild man Maron—find a lower gear.

I’ve enjoyed Mark’s comedy. I just found out about the podcast, this is the first episode I’ve downloaded. So far I’m 15 minutes and 18 seconds in listening to Mark talk about detritus, and all I can think is this aural detritus, TO THE MAX. UGGGGH. Maybe, listen to the first, now 13 minutes and 44 seconds and decide if this is good podcasting ? I just want to get to this interview, which I know is going to be worth it. The jibber jabber small talk ramble preamble… It’s a lot. I will try to keep the faith, but a girly suggest an editor might be your friend. Now, 16 minutes and 34 seconds in, now we’re talking about yogurt? Please, please get to the interview with Carol.

Maron is my go to-I love his comedy, his commentary, his neuroses, his emotional connection to his guests and comedy and music. I’ve seen him in person twice and catch his specials every time they drop. He’s just the best, because he’s imperfect. He’s us. Thanks Marc!

Two of the funniest Jews talking about growing up and becoming funny and Jewish. Marc felt in his element with Sarah and it was like old friends coming together again for some laughs.

I enjoyed the Jewish talk .I can totally relate . But when I heard Marc say his people were from Galizina . Blew my mind . My Bubbie and Zaddy were from there . I always say “I am a peasant Jew. Not a rich Jew .They owned a fish and poultry market in Cleveland .

Maron is an unhappy Hebrew who had the laziest podcast style ever. Patrick Stewart of Star Trek fame. Maron asks no Star Trek fan related questions. If Maron interviewed a politician like John Fitzgerald Kennedy he would probably ask softball questions like “so have you been to the dynasty typewriter to see me perform comedy abortions. To Maron a planned parenthood abortion mill is an angel factory. And don’t even get Maron started about Donald trump. Maron has the boogie woogie fever & the trump derangement blues. And his guitar playing causes deafness in all living things. Maron had a romantic partner who passed away. He thought it might be appropriate to take a selfie with the body of the unalive woman. Maron never was funny and now barely fills comedy zone. He’s soon to be 62 so let’s hope this savior citizen retires Permanently. He’s not very entertaining & his interviews are pedestrian at best. Look up air America & that catastrophe. Hope he saved his money.

Brendan and Marc, really creepy to invite Sarah Silverman back on a plug visit after she cheered on the collective punishment of innocent civilians and lots of children. Cheering on depriving an ethnic community you want cleansed of food and water because you went on a propaganda tour of Israel when you were young is sick. Holding Israel accountable for war crimes and crimes against humanity is not Anti Semitic. Go run off to Canada Marc. You show how cowardly you are each day. Some of us will stay and fight fascism. Gross stuff you hacks.

Bridget resonates with people that feel like outsiders I think, idk. But I know I love her, I want to be her or be her best friend. The comedy, the depth of her emotional performances, the incredible music… chef’s kiss. Btw, I waited on you once Marc, and you were totally down to earth and cool. Generally a fan but was yelling at phone -"shut up and let her speak!"

The first twenty minutes are unlistenable and then he struggles to let his interesting guests do what makes them great. Someone should encourage him to listen to one of his own intros sometime. He may resist with claims of ADHD and struggles to sit still, but no they’re actually that boring.

The David Harbour interview was bizarre. Gave up after a while.

The trash talking Mike Birbiglia episode was so petty and unnecessary. I usually love this show, but hearing two grown men devote almost an entire episode to talking trash and naming names is so disappointing. Not every conversation should be aired for everyone to hear. It’s basic human decency.

The post mortem is tiring, everyone has opinions!!

Mike Birbiglia… Hatred?? Episode was hard to listen to, just like you would acknowledge your resentment towards different comedians .. and feel bad or weird about it and then you would double down, It was confusing and your counterpart called you on it. You said I should stand up. And fight against this and him, knowing you. you wouldn’t like the implications, the fallout … Crazy episode

How many times are you going to say authoritarianism in your intro… you sound like a 4th grader who learned a new word. Your whole intros are doom and gloom, it’s getting old very fast… almost like you’re trying to brainwash people into thinking that their lives are, which they are not, might time to hang it up until you get over this ailment you created for yourself

I gave my dog Gabapentin and he got severe dementia! Don’t give your animals “Gabapentin!”.

I like Marc but he says “yea” every 6 seconds or sooner. Let your guest speak, they’re smart, they’re talented. They dont need you interrupting constantly. It kills the flow of any story they attempt to tell. Yea yea yea. Otherwise Marc is entertaining and has interesting guests. Just hope he could limit the interruptions. Yea yea yea is distracting.

He doesn’t let his guests get one word in without speaking over them.

What can I say that hasn't already been said about the great Marc Maron? He's the GOAT of podcasting, no one does it better than him. Fame has not changed him, he's still the same cranky funny guy he's always been. Keep doing the Lord's work Marc and Brendan!

Not Marc Maron poo-pooing boycotting Amazon ahead of his interview with Mo Amer. The BDS movement is a crucial aspect of Palestinian resistance. This intro, like the rest of this interview, felt like a huge miss to me.

I just found this podcast when I saw that Ariana Grande was on an episode and I absolutely loved it! I love Marc’s questions and conversations. Now I’m going back and listening to a bunch of the old episodes. So glad I found this podcast!
