This podcast is amazing. They tell it like it is and don’t pretend bad episodes are actually good. No Ads. In depth analysis that’s highly educational as regards the crafts of storytelling and comedy.

I like how there is clips from the Simpsons episode but sometimes I think maybe they don’t like it even though one of the hosts created this so I don’t think they should not like it and I wish there was more episodes that you guys liked.

“Best episode ever” this is my favorite podcast so funny I love how they just break down and then make fun of it and it’s just so funny to watch them do that in a different way than what I would have done. So in conclusion it’s just like the whole story is just like a little bit different from a different kind of story but it’s just like amazing 5 stars!

I enjoy the sims one I-l the people who made the Simpsons just wanted to have a little fun. They don’t need to say that stuff it’s honestly not that bad.

I am a simpsons fan and i enjoy podcasts so i thought i would like this show. Alll the hosts do is complain about how they hate the show. Why make a podcast about a show they hate?

My old review “ This is a very good podcast! I like how there is not much profanity but I wish that Matt and Robbie would spend time talking about the GOOD parts of The Simpsons and not always the bad parts! Other than that, it is a good podcast!” My new review: this podcast delivers what it promises, a Simpsons podcast so that deserves a star, it is professional (mostly), that deserves another star. The problem is the hosts rarely talk about the good parts. In a week of listening I can remember three times when they mentioned something good. THREE! And two were from the same episode! two from “500 keys”, and one from “The Nedliest Catch”. The hosts seem to think that the writers never try. But they DO! I am migrating to other podcasts because as this podcast gets further and further into the Simpsons, the podcast gets less and less enjoyable because the hosts are always ranting about how bad the episodes are and how the writers rarely try. I would like to see this podcast become more positive in the future and I think other people agree with me on this.

Fun to listen to for insights and call backs. Painful to listen to them complain about the show in general and that it’s not politically correct. Talk about the show, keep it about the show. *UPDATE* They still hate the Simpsons and their politics ruined another episode tonight.

I am taking off two stars because you don’t have any episodes that are not negative?

I hate thise show I mean come on if you want to watch the Simpson guess what watch it I mean it’s on every thing I mean stupid descriptions dumb jokes and it’s a comedy it’s not gonna make sense. Hey this is me like a week after I wrote that all as a joke and relized that them hateing thise is kinda the point also Simpson made a 9/11 joke but it was New York.

I think The Simpsons has some of the absolute best tv episodes ever made and some of the absolute worst, and that is deeply interesting. I found it distressing to process how that’s possible until I found this podcast. I really appreciate Matt and Robbie’s thoroughness in discussing episodes. They don’t just say they simply like or dislike things without explaining why. I admire their commitment and also think it is very cool that they make room for listeners to write in their own thoughts on episodes. Their commentary about story and characters has also helped me reflect on my own work as a writer. Keep up this noble endeavor guys!

What’s the point of watching all these episodes. It’s very clear that you don’t like the simpsons. Why don’t you just find a new thing to watch. I think you could do some more good things about the simpsons. Like you could say some episodes that you like. Some new people go onto here to find about abut this show. And they find this.

The hosts seem nice, but they clearly hate most everything the Simpsons has done since its early seasons, so why go on? It’s a chore listening to each episode as they get more and more miserable. They should move on and find a show they like to discuss, just like I’m doing with this podcast.

Hey guys I caught you 2000 and late, as the kids say. Long story longer I have ear pods listening to and watching episode 11/11 faith off. Then realized with technology I can find that episode you did. So I can have one pod on show and one pod on you.(I Had to skip ahead on your show because I’m late to you season 8 currently). I do like your style. Don’t agree all the time but that might be because…. Marijuana. I laughed so hard at this episode. Haven’t listened to your end yet of this episode. So 5 stars now and everyone find out next week same bat time same bat channel

Good podcast that provides entertainment even through terrible episodes

Best podcast ever I was looking for a podcast with the Simpsons and I found it and wow it was the best thing ever. It’s all funny because they’re hating on the Simpsons.

It’s a great podcast to listen to as Matt and Robbie are both funny and entertaining. Always fun to listen to if you want to kill time for an hour.

i loved this podcast. hands down one of the best i have heard ever. as a major simpsons fan i think that this is super helpful to hear my favorite episodes explained a little more, the holiday mailbags are super good, i cannot get enough of it! one of the greatest podcasts ever made and i love it so much that i am so happy to hear it again and again

I love this podcast! Matt and Robbie are so funny. They get more critical the later in the show, but it is understandable. It is an amazing podcast that I totally recommend listening to if you’re a fan of the Simpsons.

I thought the concept was cool. Picked 5 episodes at random and all of them had complaining about the show and how they felt they can do it better. I would recommend this podcast to people who don’t like the Simpsons.

If I had to listen to one Simpsons podcast this would definitely make the top 3.

Three years ago, I discovered the podcast called Talking Simpsons. It is a show that takes an in-depth look at the series, its creators, jokes, and things that happened around the time that it came out. It is truly the superior podcast, but they don’t come out as frequent as the Simpsons Show. So, thanks for all the free entertainment, Robbie and Matt. Still, I don’t think I’ll continue on past season 13 as it sounds like it’s just going to get worse from here on.

Kinda like the podcast. I used to really enjoy the show. I liked the weekly questions and interacting with you guys on SM. I loved the challenges and punishments on YouTube. Then it started getting hard to listen to, because you sound so over the top hateful about a show you loved. I stopped listening for almost a year and decided to give your latest episode a chance and I only made it about a minute. The first words out of your mouths were negative and you sound like you’re so over this podcast.Sadly I am too. I wish you the best and would love to hear your take on different shows, that perhaps you enjoy more than the Simpson’s.

And of course they don’t. They want the best. I used to listen a lot more but suffering along with them has gotten harder. If I like an episode does that mean I’m stupid? Maybe I should ask the cat. Because the cat could tell me how a dignified podcast sounds. Five stars for years of effort. And suffering, lots and lots of suffering.

This show is amazing. The Simpsons, one of the most iconic shows of all times has definitely had there ups and downs but this show really out lines the fall and decline. Once you listen to this pod cast you will never see the Simpsons the same again. It changes your view on the Simpsons. I highly recommend this podcast.

The episodes reviewing classic Simpsons are great,but as I listen to the late seasons these poor guys sound so miserable.

Ahh the Simpsons. It was great, than bad, than just ok. This podcast really shows how the Simpson went from the top of the world, to the bottom. I listen to it every week, and absolutely love it. Good job Robbie and mat, keep it up!

I have to remember to unsub from this. Yes, the post classic episodes are terrible. But these guys don’t sound like they are having any fun doing this podcast. Also the higher pitched guy has some weird thing where he mushes some words up and all I want is for it to stop. Also he legit sounds actually angry on the Kill Gil episode—you aren’t on alt.Simpsons or NoHomersClub. There’s no reason to get legit mad at this show anymore.

I like this podcast because is the only Simpsons podcast that actually goes over the entire episode. However, the seem to really not like the show after the 12 season. I also don’t like how I can’t tell when they are joking, or when they are being sarcastic. Like, if they hate the show that much, then just stop doing the show.
