    Misogyny Much?
I was excited to listen to this podcast about biblical families. Rather than being based on Jesus’ teachings I found it incredibly misogynistic. I couldn’t stomach listening to this garbage and will definitely not be listening again.

    Best podcast on Family!
I love listening to Jeremy, he speaks truth that kindles a fire in my heart about family. He’s the only one talking about family in this way and it’s so needed. Please keep the content coming.

    Countercultural, biblical, and practically helpful
This podcast has been so helpful to my husband and I as we navigate how to raise our 4 sons as a “team” with a gospel-centered, multi-generational mindset. So encouraging, thought-provoking, and practically helpful in daily life!

    Courageous, honest, refreshing
It is so encouraging to hear a podcast that addresses these topics positively, not just complaining about the cultural direction.

    Thought Provoking
This podcast always gives me and my husband so many good things to talk about and process together. Those conversations are strengthening our marriage and family.

Rediscovering God’s design for the family in our culture
This podcast has given me language and theological backing to articulate what a biblical model of family looks like across generations. It is filled with examples of families who are seeking to live-out God’s design for the family in all aspects of life and not simply following the typical patterns our culture has set for us. I find great inspiration and helpful ideas each time I listen to this podcast as real people share their own journeys and the bits of wisdom they have gained along the way.

    Helpful training
I am not a father yet, but I want to be someday. This podcast is super helpful for someone e like me who has zero clue of what it’s like to be a parent. It helps me know HOW to think about it and WHAT I should and should not be focused on as a parent.

    Formative, Thought-Provoking, Encouraging
This podcast is an incredible resource for Christians who are raising (or hoping to raise) children in the likeness of Christ. Jeremy and Jeff use this short podcast to share ideas, give helpful advice, and inquire about long held beliefs, all in light of what Scripture teaches. One of the reasons this podcast is so impactful and one of my few must-listen podcasts is because Jeremy and Jeff are willing to step back and take a look at culture and ask the simple question: “Is the way we are raising our children as a society the best way?” This podcast is one of the few parenting resources that challenges our modern thinking, inviting us into more collective, team-like families, rather than individualistic, self-consumed entities. After listening to several episodes, this podcast will begin to radically shape and change your thinking into a more biblical model of family.

    Life Changing Podcast
I don’t write this lightly. I’m a pastor who is and was very mission focused. My wife is pregnant and the trajectory for my family honestly would have been a sad future. I would have worked so much that they would not have seen me very often. This podcast has helped cast a new mission. Not to forget the old but to see the God given mission with my family. I am so grateful I was shown this podcast.

Ive listened to everyone of these podcasts and love them! They are so helpful to listen to throughout my week as they inspire me to think about many different aspects of fatherhood so that I can attempt to be a better father and effectively lead and love my children, wife, family and community.

    I’m a mom and I feel validated!
I know this podcast is intended for Fathers but I just listened to the episode about child raising almost completely falling on the mother and I nearly cried! I felt so relieved that there where people out there that got it; that understood the pressure Mom’s are under without telling us that we are just over emotional and dramatic. I feel like this podcast validated my experiences as a mom. My husband is very involved as a father and leads us well but if we go out anywhere with friends or family everyone else expects me to deal with our daughter when she’s upset by something or if we go somewhere with rides the baby can’t go on, I tend to be babysitter even if it’s unintentional. I just never felt so understood than after hearing that episode. Thank you!

    I’m a mom but I love it!
This podcast is so encouraging to me as a mom. Additionally, when my husband and I happen to both listen to the same episodes it creates such a powerful connection and gives us a head start with communication and unites our goals for piloting our family as a team in the same direction. Such great topics that I always get something life-giving from. Thank you Jeff and Jeremy!

I love listening to this while I'm doing things around the house. It is a great way to stay intentional and keep a focus throughout the day. It's centered towards fathers, but it is definitely applicable to both!

    Thank You!
I’m a single mom of three young children who is listening in the hopes I can fill in gaps we have in our family team. I grew up in a loving Christian home and so I’m really aware of what my kids (and I) are missing out on not having a dad and husband. I appreciate this ministry and tell friends of mine about it! Especially loved the episode advocating for children in worship! I am a firm believer that our children should be worshipping alongside us! Alone every Sunday with my 1, 4, and 5 year old I brought them to church in addition to Sunday school. We sit in the front-they pay attention better there! Most families (who I know love the Lord) don’t care to bring their kids in but I think it’s invaluable. We had an interim pastor who asked me not to bring in my toddler and I told him my child needed to see men loving and worshiping more than coloring which I do with them at home. I know my kids benefit from being in worship! Now they are 7,10, and 11 (and we have a pastor who is happy to have them in church) and I see how their faith has grown even through things I wish we never had to experience.

    Been looking for this...
I have been hungry for training as a dad pursuing a godly vision with my relatively young family (four kids 9 & under) and this podcast came at the right time. It is very biblical, extremely personal (real life), and incredibly practical. A big thanks to everyone involved in creating and sharing this content, I greatly appreciate it👍🏻. -Dean

    Tips & Conversation Starters
I appreciate the practical tips for various aspects of fatherhood while also discussing the heart, intentions, and attitude or why we do what we do. It’s been so uplifting to be able to dive even deeper with fellow fathers who also listen and can use these as discussion starters!

    Jesus centered, practical fatherhood
As a father of four, I wish I had an older mentor who could speak into the daily topics and pressures fathers face in our culture today. Jeff and Jeremy are a great example of two men in different stages of their life who know the struggles but also the hope and mission we strive for to lead our families in mission for Jesus. I love the relevant topics and real-life practical wisdom they share.

    Jesus plus Real Life
I’m not a father, I’m a mother, and still this podcast is so relevant and helpful. It provides practical tools centered on raising our kids with Jesus at the center. I love how down to earth the hosts are and all the ideas they share with us, along with insight they’ve gained on their own journey. I believe it’s so important to grasp onto tools and engage in a community where the goal is to raise healthy families based on biblical standpoints, especially in a culture that pressures us into an individualistic mindset. I recommend this podcast all the time!

    You need this! (I did)
Some days are confirmation, others are ideas to consider, and many will stretch you. Even though it is only 5-7 minutes, I find myself taking more notes with this podcast than any of the many others I listen to.
  • aeroyeah
    Unsubstantiated Parenting Advice
Watch out. The hosts are obviously not familiar with child behavioral development and science. They apply a superficial interpretation of scripture to how you should “train” your children. While it seemingly works well for them and their families - some of their recommendations will cause havoc when applied to kids with certain temperaments. Don’t assume a parent of five knows everything.
  • SierraReviews
    Great conversation starters
We love to listen to these separately and come together at lunch everyday to chat about the topics! Adds so much intentionality to our lives!
