This is the number one pod cast that tackles the hard issues like this one. I don’t think music directors are really needed. Do bands and orchestras really need a guy waving a little stick around…hardly anyone looks at the guy because they are following their music in front of their faces! I think if anything he can get up and tell the band what song to play…but then he could go sit down and not block peoples view! Believe me I know what I’m talking about! I played in junior high band and we never paid attention to our director! I was also the worst saxophone player in our whole band and his “directing” didn’t help me at all!! I’ll never forget the day in class when he threw his music stand across the room and stormed out of class. The same goes for music leaders at church….we don’t need that guy waving his arms around either!

Hey Cavalry, I’d like some backup on car tires increasing the font size on the PSI specifications. Why is it acceptable for something so essential to be listed in the smallest possible lettering? Thanks for the great content week after week, Episode 200 is almost here! -Ryan

Since you two, self admittedly, put forth the absolute minimum effort on this show, I took a vote and your fans are ready to have guests back. Just make sure you choose a guest who will at least TRY to be funny, like Lawrence, and not need backup on something dumb, like which cheese is the best. I do need back up on something. My son and I went to a new dentist last week. In observing the conversations with patients in the lobby and discussing my sons check up with the dentist, I got the feeling that this guy was in it for kickbacks from the orthodontist he referred almost every patient to! They had a tear off pad with boxes to check for what they’re referring you for, for crying out loud! He told me my son needs braces. He does not. What also lead me to this belief was the shoddy workmanship in the lobby plus the whole place was fully decorated with (quite average) paintings that dentist HIMSELF had painted. Basically, I don’t think a healthcare worker should tell you you need a procedure if you don’t! Can I get some backup on this? Thanks! Your Pal Forever, Kari Mahoney

OK, that’s a lie, especially when they aren’t shooting themselves in the leg and/or foot by plaguing us with nettlesome guests. But this one is worth listening to—trust me. Great chemistry between Johnny and Andrew. They get into this zone where you feel as if you’ve known one of these guys for almost a decade and are married to his sister.

I find myself tuning in each week bc it’s a great escape from depressing news! Hey guys I need backup on this- I collect and re sell “vintage” (old) towels and sheets. I sanitize them but some friends think it’s gross. Once it’s clean isn’t it just like any hotel sheet/towel? Thanks!

Andrew and Johnny have a great chemistry and talk about fun relatable everyday topics. It will make you laugh and make you think too! Definitely has a little bit of a Seinfeld/Larry David vibe at times too. Here’s a good one for backup- I’ve noticed a lot of men prefer their music/TV volume higher than women. Is that just me and my girlfriend or is this like a thing where every woman has more sensitive ears than every man? Hope that’s not sexist. Don’t cancel me! - Chuck

My podcast partner is too cool. We do this podcast together and I am really cool, but he is really cool, and I am worried our listeners will think I am not as cool as my partner. I guess what I need back up on is: Is it appropriate for me to stand up, turn around and rip a wet fart right into the mic (and camera) in the middle of our next podcast recording just so our listeners will think I am cooler?

Big fan of the show! I feel like I’m hanging out with Johnny and Andrew and laughing along. Here’s something I could use backup on. There is a nice small park right behind my house. I’ve always enjoyed being close to the park and listening to the birds, but a few months ago they installed an outdoor fitness structure right on the other side of the fence from our kitchen window. It attracts a bunch of workout bros during the day and now we have to hear guys grunting while they do pull ups all day. I will be on a Zoom call for work and I have to worry about my coworkers hearing dudes making grunting sounds. A lot of them are regulars. Would it be appropriate to shout out the window to keep it down? Maybe put up a sign in the window? Ben

Loving the show, definitely a day brightener! I do need back-up: I got engaged last August, but i don’t always wear my ring. I take it off to shower, sleep, do chores, go hiking, etc. I don’t wear it lounging around the house either - I’ve found lots of people (mostly all women) take offense to this. My friends, family, and even boss have all shamed me for it! I mean, I wear it out and about, but just not for activities where I could lose it, or sleeping. Still, women shriek when they hear it.... Okay, hear me out on that very long title. This is a podcast where these guys can literally start an episode with, ”So, did anything exciting happen to you this week?” “Nope. You?” “Nope.” But then I still end up laughing out loud multiple times. Hilarious, relatable and you’ll want to chime in when they talk about Thai food. Oh ya and back to the mask thing, I walk around Brooklyn listening to this podcast, so when I do laugh out loud, the mask hides it, so I don’t look too cuckoo.
